    This is supposed to be a very loose introduction, not a comprehensive guide, and honestly not enough people are talking about this deck.
    Let me know how you are building the deck. There are so many different options that I wanna hear from you all.

      Instead of talents and dangers I'm running a small shaddoll package and nemeses flag+corridor. You can very easily get to flag by making Infernal Flame Banshee off of any 2 extra lightsworn, but also it has the added benefit of running Princess+sprind. The basic combo goes get flag in the yard and 3 monsters on field, make princess special back flag, flag add corridor, link 2 into sprind and you can fusion summon merlli. Then you use cards you banished with minerva, or a keldo/mudora if you need to put corridor back to make the colossus. It give you a bounce if your end board has an xyzs monster (mine usually has dweller), a pop with princess, a fusion summon and a colossus. I also don't run destrudo or the shark package, the omni feels less necessary with lightsworn aegis being a free omni you get most games (when I mill it I usually leave a lightsworn in play) and because your normal summon isn't important for starting plays, you can end your combo with normal reino and make winda. My usual end boards (in like, 9/10 games so far with the deck at locals and an ots tourney) have been winda, dweller, colossus, rulkallos, sulliek, with princess pop and keldo/mudora in the gy. Also, not running Keldo and Mudora feels kinda bad, cause they can put necessary cards back in the deck or you can use them to quick effect put a tear name back in deck to trigger planet for a pop. It is interesting to hear your decisions even if I may personally agree on them though

      Interesting picks but I would prefer using some engine that discard bricks from my hand like Danger or Horus instead of Shaddoll. I do not think that milling is now a problem since you already do it with many cards, so Shaddoll is useful only for Winda. Also I do not like colossus package since you have to waste 2 slots of your extra deck. I do not like also the promethean, since if you finish with that endboard you do not have any fire monster on the field to pop. I'm trying to cut down bricks and using a smaller Wulf+Felis package like @PepperTCG did in the video but also i notice that i need something that discard like Danger package or even better the Horus package. Horus grants you an instant zombie vampire basically.
      Regarding @PepperTCG version I do not like destrudo since it would be useful only for Dawn Dragster but I do like night sword serpent if you want to play toad.

      @@Mito1104 You have sprind to pop with princess, and you can get rid of princess with either rulkallos or sulliek if you need to do things on your own turn. Also, the extra deck slots instead of producing only a single omni produce a bounce, a pop, and a colossus. As for Winda, I have won every game except one that I have made her, and she's been integral in the wins. Tenpai, unless they have imperm/droplet, genuinely cannot get through her, and I'm 3-0 vs snake eyes in the games I make her because you can protect her with aegis. Your deck has *way* less dead draws with this version, and you're more focused on supplementing your amazing mills. I personally don't like the horus engine because getting rid of half of my hand for a zombie vampire I make anyways is just bad, and also I genuinely don't want to drop 200+ dollars for a version of the deck that has performed significantly worse for me

      @@Mito1104 I posted a video on it friday on my channel (don't wanna post a link in the comment here), the only cards I'm realistically missing are the lightsworn dragonlings but the deck performs exceptionally without them so I haven't missed them much. I scuffed the playtest a bit but showed how a baseline example of how to reach a decent endboard. It even makes Colossus through dweller easily.

    This deck seems interesting. Looks like it really pops off when it does get to play! I just played against Lightsworn Runick earlier. The new Cards seem like they are really what the deck needed. That Minerva synchro seems really good!
    For context was testing vs a friend on EDOpro. Lightsworn is his favorite deck. It is lowkey terrifying that the deck ends on really consistent boards by just seeing any way to dragonling + any Runick spell. He also uses the Heaven Dragons in his build which while being bricks they are good discards off Hugin and Punishment dragon specifically is a surprisingly great interruption on the opponent’s turn.

    Very nice, good to spread the news about Tear!
    Like your Lightsworns, would only play 2 Dragonling if you arent running punishment, since its a worse mill in that case.
    Good Tear ratios as well, not falling into Scream Reino x3 trap and knowing that Metanois is a card - good good
    Not going for Trivikarma is an interesting take, not unreasonable, but I like Foolish Goods into planet a lot...
    Foolish Burial without Millers has been cut by me, never really feel its good enough, sure mill 2 with Tear Kash or set up for this or that is nice - idk tho.
    the nice too have vs 1 more bad mill is not convincing me 100% (may have to look at this again tho).
    About the Dangers, why not 2 Nessi? Nessi is the best, then potentially Mothman or Jacko; the part about more Darks sure is cool - but Nessi is also an Aqua, something we need for Kalaido.
    Based Nightsword Serpent Enjoyer - and 2 Beastkings - bro knows whats good - nothing to add, you know you are correct.
    Correct Toad is now key, but we can make a spell trap negate very easily... not with the one random Destrudo... but with Felis and Weiss to go into Dragite.
    If you play more tuners for Lvl 7 - like a idk 2 Destrudo 1 Revolution - then sure go AfD and F.A. - but since the Lightsworns are a Level 4 Syncro engine, making a Lvl 8 SpellTrap Negate is just natural. You can use the lightsworns for your regular plays and then bring them back with Cross Sheep for example, or go Weiss Wulf with Dragonling (in that case you need 2 Felis...).
    Just what I found to work pretty well; you play 3 Talents and keep it at 40 - okay comendable and maybe the best "competetive" way to go about it.
    In a more greedy world - or how ever you want to call it - go to 48 cards - add 3 Mali and the mini 5 card Horus pack - 4 Bricks and 4 "hand cleaners" so it doesnt make the hands that much worse, but gives you more avenues to play and with Mali at 3 we better abuse it - also gives you more Darks ^^
    Personally, with 3-4 Lightsworn bricks, id already considered the Horus cards to have a higher "hand card efficiency" but with 3 mali it just works - makes it way easier to have cards lying around for Apo and other Link plays, to have the good lvl 4 for XYZ or Synchros.
    Anyway thats a text wall - hope you have good mills ^^

    maybe a dumb question, but any reason to run beastking over king of the swamp? the only thing I could see coming is the levels for synchro/xyz plays, but idk

    • @jordaneworley
      @jordaneworley 3 месяца назад +1

      My logic(idk about the uploader) is that with beastking you can run just 1-2 of him and have the random mills of him help make MUCH stronger fusions with your tear fuses. Also like you said he is lvl4 for making bahamut/toad plays AND can also make stuff like time thief or Minerva in niche situations.
      Also the extra copy of king of the swamp +the poly+guardian chimera extra deck slot takes up so much space that I want for lightsworn stuff, so I enjoy freeing it up with just 2 beastkings.

    Do the lightsworns & Tearlaments get their effects if sent to the graveyard by Charge of the light brigade & by Solar recharge?

    • @PepperTCG
      @PepperTCG  3 месяца назад +1

      Tearlament cards do not trigger off of charge because it mills for cost, not for effect. Felis also does not trigger from charge because it has to be sent by a monster effect. Solar recharge triggers everything that it mills.

    Play Punishment Dragon. Its makes mudragon with any tear. Its great disruption against decks that have setup graves, PD puts all the gas and KakleodoHeart back into your deck/extra.
    The visas Synchro main job is to find the Sulek not the field spell. (Use power tool synchron to make fairy dragon, and nat beast)

    I have been testing alot of tear builds recently from paleo to horus and I just don't think this is it chief. Having to make 2 syncros to get a field spell is kinda trash. The horus cards make vampire just fine and can break boards on their own. Adding spell and traps seems good but I have never had much trouble getting to planet or a sulliek with normal mills/fool goods etc. Charge milling for cost and not activating mills sounds really awful. I didn't see malicious in your list but it going back to 3 has made a huge difference and to replace a good card with bricks like wulf and felis just hurts. I love your content man and it sounds like I'm just shitting on you so apologies but I think the lightsworn stuff is very gimmicky but maybe I'll be proven wrong in events to come.
