@@shannonw5218 what is up with that?! Have the nerve to pay less and request more. Well 🤔… I assume you’re in the United States, that sounds like a modern 9 to 5. Pay less, expect more 🤣 so I guess that’s just the mindset of everyone now.
I never order more than 8 miles out, it just doesn't pay unless you are driving to a hot spot for more orders, but sometimes you have to decline because of not wanting to get pushed farther away from your comfort zone, I usually order 5 or 6 miles away and I try and tip 6 to 7 $ as tip, if I knew I wanted something 20+ miles away, I would have to make a custom tip of 15$ or more because of the fact that driver probably has to drive back
Yeaaa I'm learning and trying to figure out what works best in most markets and in certain markets, unfortunately this day was a super slow day, so I took what I could. It is super easy to get distracted by the pay and not realize where the delivery/drop off is taking you 😩

I've been doing gig work full time for awhile now. Tip for you it is much better to go during lunch i'd say anywhere from 9 or 10 to 1:30-2. Take a break than around 5:30-6:00 work until 9-10 until the restaurants start to close. That way u get around a full work day and you get more orders working the prime time of the day instead of working part of the downtime. That schedule usually brings me in 125-175 a day I wish u luck.
This is exactly what I do…had to learn the hard way. I was out there wasting my time. I make my money quicker at dinner time too. I also don’t take any orders that’s less than $6 and I don’t move my car unless I’m getting paid $2 a mile.
Doordash does everything they can to make sure their drivers make as little money as possible. We're really out here relying on strangers to tip in order to make any actual money. In my area "base pay" is $2 and if it's a stack of two orders you only get $2, not $4. It's exploitation is what it is 😂
Whaaat?!?!, I'll have to pay attention to that in the future, I have never noticed. SUCH A SCAMM!! They should pay the $4 😩😭 @teresadorn1646 You literally know EVERYTHING. Must be nice. 😩
@@LalaTah agreed, the whole concept of work when you want is amazing, but the companies offering those gigs just keep siphoning money away from the ones doing the work
Your in a car, first L. You need to take the bad offers to get the good ones. Cherry picking doesnt work. And you ppl in cars are not making no money compared to someone using 2 wheels. This isn't for you car drivers. Its for 2 wheel drivers.
@Webnwebs273 LOL I didn’t agree with this statement either.. literally not one part. But apparently it’s because he is on a bike, his experience is vastly different. 🤷🏿♀️ hope you’re having a great day, this convo ain’t worth it.
Here from a shout out that you got from My App'ling Life channel.
@@journey565 hiiiiii! Thanks for checking me out 🥲
Ty soo munch for putting on for Tampa !!! 813 all day
You have to know your area's and also what time you're Dashing is a factor 😉.
Every time I take a low order it is always a problem. They complain or give you a low rate. I aint taking no 2 or 3 dollar order

Good video. Are you using a GoPro to record?
No, everything I use is in my description, it’s an action cam. Currently on sale BTW for Labor Day weekend!

Ur doing amazing work
Thank you! 🙏🏿
If you do it right it $20 an hour it’s really gas that’s an issue
Get a legal moped 2 dollars for like 70 miles a gallon
Get a Toyota
$20 and I’m 3/4 if a tank all I need to make $300+ before I need to gas up again
Daaang, what car do you drive?

When they ask for a pin just press enter. No pin needed unless they give you one.
Nice to know. Thank you! 🙏🏿 good luck out there.
