    Excellent comparison! Much needed.

I’ve had my DDWB15 and 3 pedals for two years now. Has served me well.
One major advantage over the C12 is I can go and add a different wheel to the base. I added the Moza KS by using the Moza Hub since as you pointed out, Cammus has been slow and I produce/release peripherals. But, DDWB is also better for drifting. It used a NRG quick release so it’s compatible with real car wheels. Having buttons on the base is perfect for teleport to pit if you’re about to crash in a tandem. I have a wheel with no shifters or button box for my drifting. 3 wheels with quick release. C12 can’t do that.

Absolutely. It is a very fine base with a lot of potential and the only base that I tested which has those useful buttons and Rotary encoders on the base itself. I only wish it wouldnt weigh a ton. I believe that is also why I favor the C12 as my standard for driving. I have to swap a lot for testing and the C12 is easily added and removed from my rig. I really hope Cammus starts getting the love from the community they deserve soon.

@@SimulatedDrivingResource I mean your use case as a content creator although valid, not typical of your audience. Point that out in your script but don’t cite it as a negative for normal use. I mean, is it way heavier than all the Fanatec and Simagic and Moza bases with similar Nm output? Being heavy can mean it feels solid and durable. Something you’d want for 15Nm peek.

😏 very good comment. The weight is indeed linked in this case for me swapping bases but the form factor is also decissive for those that want to have their screen close and/or compact. You can't put a ddwb on a playseat challenge for example while it is possible with a c12. If it is recommended is another thing. And if I do a versus with a Moza or Fanatec, it will be of course less of a point as you say.

@@SimulatedDrivingResourceHi, could you please elaborate on why you cant use the ddwb on a playseat challenge? I just ordered a ddwb and ive already got a gt-lite (pretty much same as challenge) would you say that one should’nt use it on it or that it Can’t be done?

The DDWB is one of the most heavy and massive wheelbases out there and the wheelbaseholders on the foldable chairs are in general not foreseen for those types of mass. Its not that it can't be done.... its that the result will be ... wobbly

I bought a DDWB with a GT1 steering wheel and pedals, and it was an absolute deception, the only thing worth the time are the pedals id say.
The base just didn't work with the steering wheels, it kept breaking, had 2 different bases 3 different wheel hubs and it was still defective. Defective buttons on the wheel.
Cammus decided to compensate me with 200$ for the wheel and that was it. But the problem is the base.
Just to let people know what they do to their clients.
Good review, good video, got subbed.

Sorry to hear that. So the issue you had were the defective buttons on the steering wheel or were there more things that didn't work? Were they not responsive? No input? Game-specific or all games? Did it work in their software? Seems odd because they replaced all electronics it seems. Sorry for the questions but it might help map out some structural issues with hardware that might help me inform other people about.
