Great interview with the entire band really showing up here as a team. I wished we would see such interviews nowadays. The band is still existing and makes even better music than before but everything seems to focus on George. He is my idol for 35 years but Jon, Mike and Roy are like family members to me as well. I wished I wouldn't feel this separation between George and the others.
Now he mentions about him and Michael Jackson being like the same outside and in stage, its totally true, I remember back then that the two biggest stars at that time were MJ and Boy George and you could always find them in a crowd of artists and that's it. He looks adorable and beautiful here but I really prefer Culture Club and Boy George last recent songs way way more. These last songs are powerful, deep, classy, just like them amazing the development of the band, nowadays is awesome, absolutely fantastic and if I had to choose I would stay with the current Culture Club.
The Animal Kingdom I beleive that I am sick and tired of the current music so I remembered when was the last time I felt really happy with music and it was in the 80s and this group gave me fantasy and happiness but their new stuff the new musoc really blew my mind so I just want people to see how good they are. I am so happy again so just trying to share it. Also Jon is still my boyfriend lol

I’m only thirteen. 😩 I watch as many interviews and videos of Culture Club as possible. I’m a huge fan. And George is mine by the way. I’ve claimed him. 😂 I think that 80s music has more meaning than 2000/present music does. I don’t even like One Direction. Or Justin Bieber. I don’t like Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, etc. I’m not exactly a typical teenager lol. I’m glad I found someone who likes Culture Club as much as me. ❤️😊
Wow, I found a smart kid!1 hey so nice to meet you, I knew there had to be people outside that could appreciate good music, right now all music in my opinion is just noise. Let me explain you about Culture Club, this band is outstanding for several reasons, one they have very good music, the key to know if something is good are the lyrics done by George, amazing and the melody, done by real musicians. But also back then this band which was unique they had kid fans like me, millions of kids following them, unlike any other band at that time, Just like you this band is loved by kids and adults. The reason you don't like current music is they don't have good lyrics for example let me show you. The weekend song lyrics " I don't feel my face when I m with you" Well this is rubbish plus if a guy doesn't feel his face does not mean he is into you, he is just drunk, lol. In the 80s the music was awesome and this band had the most beautiful man the world has seen, his eyes are still the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life, back then my dad said Boy George was a pretty girl, lol, can you believe it? So nice to meet you and you have an excellent taste in all. XOXO

George has tweeted in the past day that he was let's say pissed off that soemone said that the 80s was his best era. I love George PERIOD but my favourite George period is the 80s as well. One can't deny that the period you grew up in is your favourite. Just like George's fav Bowie period would be the 70s and Ziggy Stardust. George for me here is so BEAUTIFUL and so sincere so the 80s George is my FAV George period as well :-) I suppose as an artist he wants to keep going forward so I get that

Jon came up with the name Culture Club. It was called something crazy like sex children and then changed to something Club. Mikey added the Club. Jon was like George do you want to be successful? He said yes. *Jon was like the Band will be named Culture Club* and George was like I'll be papa George. *Jon said NO you'll be Boy George.* This discussed during an interview, but the Band never give him full Credit for the Band Name and George's stage name.
