- George looks fabulous in this interview from 1984. Many people have messaged me asking to upload this clip; the version you see here is taken from ITN. I had edited the segments together into one interview, however it lasts 15mins 8seconds, hence I've still had to split it up!! Although I've still got a lot of rare Boy material it's getting harder and harder to upload here due to music copyright issues - at least this one doesn't have any Karma Chameleon snippets in it!

Boy George has never gotten praises for his interesting way of answering questions. His interview answers are always smart. His pretty articulate.

2019 i came across an interview with him, then watched it and found the same. Then RUclips suggested all sorts of material with him, i watched randomly to conclure : HE IS SMART, WELLSPOKEN, IMPRESSIVE

When your being yourself and honest about your feelings and self it’s easy to be articulate.
Boy George is so adorable, even still today. I will always be a fan. He is extremely open minded and real despite what people may think.

The wit comes with hearing the same things over and over, in the end it’s like a 2nd language to us gay guys.
I was actually very lucky to greet him once at the height of his popularity in London at a banquet once. There had been so much hatred about this guy when I grew up in Virginia and I simply found him to be gracious, kind, engaging and just a wonderful fellow all around. Glad I got to meet him.

I never knew how awful people were to him, at the time. I was a city kid, and the nice ladies who talked to me at the bus stop downtown were a happy feature of daily life. I found out later they were transgender sex worker and greatly despised. Boy George was lovely, by showing the world that it makes no sense, how we label people. No one is making a statement against someone else, by being themselves. 💚
I love that George was always witty and very intelligent in these early interviews. His stunning personality always shows through.
He is charismatic and very well-spoken. You'd think his answers were rehearsed, he's such a great conversationalist here.
He is talented,smart and handsome. I don't think he should be put down based on hi sexuality.

I grew up in the 80's and in my opinion the music back then was the most exciting and experimental, I love all the other music since as well, but the 80's was the best decade ever

Awe man….. you missed the most exciting time in social/ music & popular culture since the sixties. There was just enough technology to get by but not so much that it overtook your life. Take me back to the 80’s.

Love this guy's makeup, music styles and all out spirited persona. An explosion of colour and amazing talent.
I first heard George sing back in the 70's and loved his voice. I love him being flamboyant. Wish I could do my makeup as well as he does. I'm a straight woman, about George's age and wish people wouldn't make such a big deal of eccentricity. To each his own I say. I love the fact that George is obviously intelligent and can make good conversation.
I love how Boy George can impersonate different accents so perfectly. Talented in language, listening and speaking- gratefully beautifully singing. Talented in many ways. He’s visually artistic judging by his flawless new age aesthetic.
Boy George is so eloquent and his commentary is fascinating.

How I LOVE the Waking Up With The House On Fire era. The Red hair was so GLORIOUS, people say Waking Up With The House On Fire was the down spiral, but The War Song went to Number 2 on the charts, the album sold 7 million copies and The Medal Song still went Top 30! The problem is when one has Top 10 single after Top 10 single as soon as you have a Top 20 or Top 30 single you are over. That is a very ridiculous way to look at what is ART. It's not supposed to be hit after hit, that is more the 'star system' way of looking at things and 'corporation games'.

Over 40 years he has remained authentic, he sounds exactly the same now as he did then. His legacy is his honesty and genius. Not just musically, but his iconic style and courage to be himself. He's empowered a generation of outsiders. He was also decades ahead of his time.
