Moss did openly acknowledged their relationship .. that happened after the 80s because you must understand even Boy George himself never came out as gay during the 80s for the sake of keeping their popularity alive to make more music .. and even right after their break up, John Moss continued supporting BG through working together on BG's solo albums.. Moss is a great guy, he leans more straight than gay, he probably tried loving BG due to how beautiful BG looks as a woman but that kind of love is fated to be shortlived, I think BG knew it too ..
It's easy to see here why George endeared himself to the public so much. Underneath all that make-up he's an average guy with a bigger than average heart. I'm sure it's all still there, though he's a lot more uncompromising and outspoken these days, as I guess most of us are. It's also so obvious now looking at this, that him and Jon are a couple, though somehow we all missed it at the time!
