- Only our second time fishing the Trinity from our Kayaks. Fun day with some interesting situations. Kayak prop got tangled in fishing line, but Oldtown makes it easy to remove the prop for those exact situations. I need to by the float prop nut or one day we may be stuck up the creek with a paddle. Caught lots of bass so that counts as a great day!

I figured. I know we have caught them before and was leaning towards spotted. Crazy how much the same they look compared to LMB, but also so different. I’m guessing the river has lots of them. Thanks for watching!
This video was so funny, and the editing was on point. Got any tips for kyak fishing marine creek lake? I’ve only tried a few times but I’ve never caught a fish out of a kyak
Marine Creek is supposed to have some big ones. I have seen a few, but for the most part little guys. Not our favorite place to go, but it’s close and very little boat traffic. We have caught them in on just about everything. However, seems like you can always get a few along the reed banks with grass. This place is really pressured so we typically slow way down with dropshot and can manage some bites. We are partial to Texas rig and that always does okay. Worm or creature baits. North side of the lake has way more cover and structure (our favorite stuff to fish) but it’s seems way less productive. Thanks for the compliment it’s means a lot. Good luck!
