I like this one the best of all the Jurassic films so far; I also feel the third one is unfairly hated for being less magnificent in scope than the others.
I don't think it's better than the first one, but I do agree that it's a great and underappreciated sequel. If the first is a 5/5, The Lost World is 4/5.
If the sequels are bad, then I don't mind that JP sequels are bad. I enjoy them thoroughly because they're at the very least okay, and I'll look for any excuse to see something new with Jurassic Park and it's believable dinosaurs. So long as the dinosaurs are done well, and the story doesn't attempt to ruin them, it's good enough for me.
The Lost world is definitely my favorite outvof the other three movies. and shot out the the screen writer David keopp. he was also the "unlucky bastard" that got eaten in San Diego by the T-Rex lol
HammerFran Yup, even Spielberg said that she was the star of the film, not the ppl. But on the 3rd comes a different director and bam, there goes the queen :(
The Jurassic Park Collection I hear there's going to be some kind of mutant T-Rex in Jurassic World. It and the normal T-Rex better not fight. And if they do, the normal T-Rex has to win. Dinosaurs were awesome as they were. Thanks for the video, by the way. I love this movie. My only problem with it is the huge plot-hole where the entire crew on the ship is killed. It makes no sense because the T-Rex was in the holding pen and some of the hands/arms were in a room with a roof and walls that would protect them from the Rex.
I mean I'm not exactly an all Go-to tyrannosaurus fan, I don't mind that Rex being killed simply because it wasn't Rexy or the Lost world tyrannosaurus rex's
This one hands down is my favorite in the series I love Jurassic Park don’t get me wrong but i love the lost world definitely a good sequel there’s a lot to enjoy and love about it in my opinion!💝🙌🤩
Jeff is the only actor who came off like a movie star in this one. Miss the guy in these big budget flicks. Was this shot in the movie ? 8:00 Spielberg didn’t utilize the puppets enough in this movie.
Must have seen that scene a million times but first time i realized when Julian Moore's character falls on the glass that looks real and painful 😂 surprised she didn't knock herself out
8:31 Someone shoulda told this to the team who made Jurassic World & Fallen Kingdom..... fucking motorcylce raptor bros and a Freddy Cruger scary dino in a kids bedroom?? seriously? Keep the animals neutral... don't make them into heros or villans.
I'm surprised this movie has so much hate... it's my favorite out of the four movies. On the other hand, I dislike Jurassic World more and more every day. I gave it a 7/10 the first time I watched it, then a 6/10 the second time, and after watching the original again, I re-rated JW to a 5/10. I couldn't stand Bryce Dallas Howard, I wish she would've got eaten in the film, along with the rest of the boring, stupid cast. Chris Pratt wasn't bad, but not enough to even come close to saving the film.
Why was this film bad? Because they weren't in a park, THATS THE POINT! The acting was acceptable and the plots were good. All you see happen in JP3 is the Kirbys screaming and derping and running! JP 1 through 2 was good and 3 wasn't the best because nothing significant happened, they literally jumped onto the island to save a stupid kid that got himself stuck there in the first place and now they are making stupid mistakes while running from a misanthropic spinosaur that apparently didn't hate people enough to show up in the second film, but happens to be the first predator that attacks them in this one! Wow what are the odds. :/ JP1=amazing, JP3=fun spin on things and significant plots, JP3=watchable for a couple of times then you realize how annoying the Kirbys are and that there are no plots other than running forever.
Josh person Yeah, you really don't want your first encounter to be the antagonist. The first encounter whould have been with herbivores where everybody would be like, OMG a dinosaur!. Then they should have built up some tension. Maybe stumble upon a corpse of a severely mutilated T-Rex and everybody would ask themselves, what could have done such a thing? Then the Spinosaurus could have been introduced, at night with pouring rain. Definitely not in broad daylight! There are so many things I found so horribly bad about JP3, there's simply not enough time to name them all. The special effects are great, the introduction of many new dinosaurs, including the Spinosaurus, are very thrilling, but they simply couldn't make it good enough.
I absolutely hate this movie with a passion, but this behind the scenes was surprisingly good, this film and Fallen Kingdom are probably my least liked of the series, but the behind the scenes stuff is great
CurtisAlfeld I agree, every time I re-watch this film I find more and more flaws :( I realized that I never gave a crap about any of the humans, I only wanted the baby rex to be safe hehe
The Jurassic Collection IDK even when I rewatch the movie it doesn't feel that bad. It's not a terrible movie it just has weak characters. Malcolm's cool to an extent, basically the guy saying it's all a bad idea but this time you get why. Though he isn't as suave like he was before. My favorite part of the film though was definately bringing the Rex to the mainland. That was really changing the game of things.
What really killed this movie was; Sarah Harding(Not Julianne) Vince Vaughn/Nick Van Owen. San diego. and ultimately the script. If I was Ian Malcolm from the very introduction of Sarah harding, I knew I'd have left her there to die. She was a royal pain in the ass, there was no chemistry. Such a terrible character. Saving the baby T-Rex was astronomically stupid and there was no clear motivation for Van Owen to release the dinosaurs. He was simply a photographer, shouldn't he be impartial in this situation? Especially when these mercs were hired by the same company that pays him? Why the hell would Owen consider it a victory for stealing Roland's ammo when, all he wanted to do was hunt down the very same beast that was trying to kill him in the first place? This movie was a disaster. It was long/drawn out, boring, pointless and plain stupid. The Lost World in of itself is a great idea, but the execution was done all wrong. Ian was the only good thing about this movie and even his motivations for being there was highly questionable.
Van Owen was not just a photographer, he was an ambientalist and animalist activist, and his character was intended to be a wild card to be played at the right moment by John Hammond.. He was paid by Hammond himself, not by In-Gen assholes, and Hammond sent him on the island to ruin Roland's and Ladlow's party and save the dinosaurs from that insane massacre, even the T-Rex adult, that's why he releases the dinosaurs and saved the baby T-rex. You clearly understood NOTHING about this movie man, very sorry about that.
I didn't read 9 lines and what you say offends, not only offends but you also speak as if you were one of those idiots who throw shit at a product just for certain defects saying it's a disaster, as if it were the worst movie... ..you are an idiot
Look at Jeff at 5:15 how he's preparing for the scene, while Spielberg's giving the instructions. LMAO love that guy. xD
Who the fuck doesn't? He's the shit!
The part in the RV with the glass had my heart racing. Cinematic gold
This movie is so underrated. Fantastic film.
Amazing film!! It was my childhood favourite even over JP1. I had posters, toys, etc! :)
R.I.P richard attenborugh, All he ever wanted was for us to endorse his park
ciaran yuill "Spared No Expense!"
i would endorse it even if it failed cause how cool they could’ve made it
I think I am the only person that likes this better than the original
no you are not. I do to.

Gotta be honest, as a child I had this Featurette on VHS, I watched this more then the actual movie 😁

+Trevor Wallace Oh yeah!!! hahaha best death evar! 😃
+The Jurassic Collection R I P Sir Richard Attenborough (1923-2014)
That t-rex animatronic looks amazing..
To me this was as good as JP1. Man.
I actually really like this movie still.
I wish he would’ve just completed the trilogy as director… what a sad shame
12:02 everybody loves the T-rex, and those idiots killed it in JP3.
Thanks for the video BTW.
HammerFran Yup, even Spielberg said that she was the star of the film, not the ppl. But on the 3rd comes a different director and bam, there goes the queen :(

Oh yeah, Goldblum was undoubtedly one of the premier stars of the 90s, it was his decade for sure, along with Will Smith, Jim Carrey, Bruce Willis...

I actually like this movie! I think JP 1 was great and JP2 was pretty good! JP3 was just....no
IKR! What I think if the third film is that it was fun. It was a bad movie, but it was a fun adventure.
After 3 Jurassic world movies, has @LOVELYANGIE realized she was a lil wrong?
curtisAlfed- I enjoyed it. I do agree with you however. I think Spielberg followed the book pretty closely though.
The film floped but it was very good worldwide success how loves the original film🦕🦖🗺️

spino was ticked off cause they hit its sail
Lol

Cue JW Dominion then...
It saddens me how much this movie blows.
it wasn't as good as the first one, but it was still pretty epic.
BoNgRiPpEr08
No, it really wasn't. I loved it as a kid, and went to watch it recently, and it was really dumb. The characters were morons.
CurtisAlfeld I agree, every time I re-watch this film I find more and more flaws :( I realized that I never gave a crap about any of the humans, I only wanted the baby rex to be safe hehe
