    In this episode we take a look at a Hornby class 56 thats been sent in after being bought on eBay as a running loco. The owner has stated it does not work so lets take a look at this Grid and see whats at fault

    Nice job, Dan!
    I have a Cavalex 56 which is amazingly detailed, but I think the Hornby version still stands up well when compared side by side.

    I don’t trust eBay much ,your friend was sold a model that wasn’t as it should be the body shell is of a Romanian class 56 you can tell by the quarter lights I know they let in drafts hatted driving them ,for oystermouth it should be an early BR built body ,I hope he didn’t pay much for it ,but you done a great job on repairs ,😢all the best 😊😊

    To be accurate, 56040 should have oval buffers.

      To be properly accurate it needs an early Doncaster body as the grilles are Romanian style ones
