Deserved far more than No 116 on the Billboard 150. Bought it on day of release in the UK. Played it constantly at my club & mobile dj work back then. One of my ALL TIME faves of ALL TIME. Happy clappy sums it up perfectly. Great post.

There is NO - other form of dance or movement that comes anywhere near to the grace & majesty of Northern Soul Dancing !. At 62 and ****Ed with a severe type of arthritis, I get the same pleasure & enjoyment WATCHING it as I did dancing it !
Am 60 myself Alan and still love to watch people dance to what we use to dance to although I can't dance like I did back then the music still gives me tingles and memories and smiles.. KTF
What a bummer for you. I tried to dance it, never could reach that smooth effortless moves of so many on these clips. A fellow fan of all Northern Soul. My own favourite being Marvin Gaye 'this love starved heart of mine'. 👍

I was torch n wigan !! Not comitting crime erh? Chemists, cars burglary dealing think that is the keadt, eg taxin dwalers etc it was den of BUT WOULDNY HAVE BEEN ANY WHERE ELSE, HAD MATES DO TIME N OTHERS THAT THE TIMES WERE TOO MUCH AND TOPPED SELF, the times were great but dint attemot to sanitise it was wirking clas and 70 hooligan it WAS hard
It was like that in the south as well. No different. We were dancing to music like this back in the mid to late sixties. I’d hate to think that the north was getting all the credit for promoting American r n b/soul and Tamla etc, cos they weren’t!

Hi John, at present I couldn't tell you but the clip will be within my editing software and I will try make time to find the details for you, I often have clips sent from friends and people active on the northern soul scene. It may well be a cut from a larger clip as they most often are, I will do my best to find out for you, regards Charlie
You can soon tell those who can dance 'correctly' and those who just shuffle 'dad-style' from one foot to another.
