Thanks for this helpful video, a few yrs ago I did buy some magnetic sheets to store my metal dies on & in that amount of time until now I've accumulated quite a few dies. So watching your video her has given me a grand idea, I've been storing my dies in a plastic sewing box, but it's getting very heavy as I also store my rubber stamps sheets in it as well, but recently I bought quite a few see thru colored plastic folders, now thanks to you, I've decided to store my dies in these folders, I'll take advantage of the different colors to keep track of what's in each one.

Thank you so much for sharing this idea. I think I will buy a frame and mount the magnetic sheet to it like a little bulletin board. So excited to try this!

I have a nice “pantry” in my craft room with shelves. I also attached strong adhesive magnetic sheets to the interior door and have my alpha and frame dies available as soon as I open my door. I love it and use many of my dies more often.

I finally found one. I keep mine on magnetic sheets (heater vent covers) backed with pizza box cardboard, cut about 8x10". The sheets are kept in sturdy clear page protectors that have a "locking strip" at the top have not lost any dies with this. They're in a binder, with dividers for categories. It's kind of heavy, so I consider it to be full.😊

So happy to see this!! Storing dies does suck. Like you say in n out of envelope & so on plus getting them to restick. Ughh. TFS❤

    Anna, great tips. Great video.
I like to store my StampinUp dies and stamps together. I cut magnet sheets to fit inside the stamp case with the matching stamps. I save the paper insert from the dies and put it in the stamp case with the dies and stamps. This way I can easily have the complete bundle to use. I was finding it so frustrating that the stamp set name was different from the coordinating die set name. This way I do not have to remember what stamps go with what dies. 😊

I find that the dies are named different than the stamps on stampin up products also. I just store mine the way I received them but use my tape labeler (not sure correct name) to put the stamp name on the plastic envelope the dies come in. I use magnetic sheets from hardware store for vent covers and cut them down to size to fit in the plastic envelope they come in. Then I put a D (for dies) or a P (for punches) on top of the were the name of the stamp set is on the case when standing on bookcase so I know if a punch or dies. The dies are stored with stamp set on bookcase. The punches I used the label maker to put the name of punch on in one spot on punch and the name of stamp set on another spot on punch but was consistent as much as possible on punches where I put the names.

I also use magnetic sheets for my dies. I buy them from Amazon. The dies that I use are are already cut at 5x7. I place my dies on the magnetic sheet and place them inside my Stampin Up box with the the matching stamp set.

Thanks for showing this. I have wondered if they were strong but didn't want to put the money into them if they didn't

Anna, Great Idea!! I had seen the dies in the background on a previous video, I thought that was neat. I use the smaller Stamp n Storage magnet cards (5x6??) and envelopes and love them. But displaying your most used dies DOES save a lot of time sifting thru you die bin. I did not know they came in big sheets. I am definitely going to check it out. Thanks for sharing!!! :)

I use 30” x 20” foam boards to put magnetic sheets on. Then I mount them on the back of my door with Velcro Command strips. This is a great die storage for me.

I use vent covers from Lowes, put them on 8x10 cardboard and slide in to page protectors. And mark it A-1

Have you or any of your subscribers put their magnetic sheets on a sloped ceiling for their dies? Thinking of putting magnetic sheet on a 12x14 picture frame and then attached frame to sloped ceiling with 3M strips?

I would say probably just baby wipes, or warm water and mild soap.

You must have strong magnetic sheets as the one I got would not hold them on if stored as you have.

They are definitely nice and strong, which is a wonderful change from the low quality ones I used to have!
