Thank you for watching my video! The Discord conversation was from my channel's official server, where I sometimes ask for help on videos and stuff. If you want to support the channel, becoming a member gives you access to special emojis like this: This video mainly focuses on the training missions, Paris, and Hokkaido, with the other maps mostly going untouched, so I'll be happy to make more videos in this series if this gets enough support!
I love the fact that so many of these (and a lot of the ones I've heard myself) are conversations between security guards. My partner works in security and it's always sad in media to see them be basically nameless statues, or at worst meat shields in action scenes. It made me love these games even more.
Fully agree with this. I appreciate how the Hitman guards don't just shout profanities and threats like in most games, but are genuinely trying to keep people safe and seem to hope to just have an uneventful work day. Sometimes when dressed as a guard, they smile at you and say stuff like "Glad to know you have my back". Whenever there is danger they tell civilians (including 47) to get to safety. They themselves panic upon stumbling on a gruesome scene. Personal bodyguards search for the targets when they cannot find them and are really worried. In other games they would just walk around and shout threats, which okay some people would do and some sorts of guards (hardened mercs) would prefer to do that, but Hitman guards are there to protect civilians and keep the peace. Why would a hospital guard, who expected to politely tell patients where to go and have a calm day, try to act like Rambo, when bodies start piling up? Of course they would freak out themselves. The humanization of Hitman guards is fantastic and makes the world much more believable and alive. I know the comment was months ago, but I felt we should appreciate the humanization of Hitman guards (and NPCs in general) much more. ^^
There is actually a conversation with Silvio Caruso‘s Mother! (even though it‘s just a woman acting as her for the training) This trilogy will always suprise me.
Yeah, I'm not quite sure how the characters (or their contemporary cell phones) work when the original mission is set in the '70s or '80s and the simulation takes place with ICA actors in '99.
@@CassidyCope the original mission was actually in 1999, which actually confuses more things, like Caruso being born in 1975. His mother is talking about him, like he is still a child, even though he would‘ve been 24 during the actual assassination.

An hour-long Casimir video! I’m gonna love this. Edit: only 15 minutes in and I haven’t heard any of these conversations in-game. I’ve always walked past these people but never stopped to listen, very interesting video
Those two doctors in hokkaido are hilarious because the female one is basically having conversations with herself like a street corner schizophrenic while the male doctor is basically ignoring her.
It is so cool that a bunch of the ambient dialog on the boat is from the parents of later targets. It’s cool getting to see them is some form or another.
Yeah, I was surprised that there was Tomas Cross and Mrs. Caruso. I missed their dialogues since I am focused on trying to finish the missions silently.
Very cool stuff. Might be worth taking a look at Colorado next, it sounds like there's some interesting dialogue between the different targets there. Apparently the guy who blew off Parvati's arm is actually in the map, and mentions that she complimented him on it when they met. Also, in Mumbia, there's apparently dialogue between Shah and her attendant about Parvati leaving her a bunch of gold after she died.
Yeah I heard that today. Doing a freelancer mission. Always fun hearing stuff about the target especially learning why they have traits like a funky arm.
omg I can't believe Silvio Caruso's mom has dialog ( 19:10 )! It is a bit mind boggling for the part where they're all supposed to be actors so it's not really her, but STILL, let's pause the brain on that one and enjoy
“Oh my…. This space! The colors! Oh the shapes! It’s beautiful! Exactly as it needs to be, a place for everything and everything in its proper place! Oh my goodness, why haven’t I noticed before?! I need to share this with my babies!”
God these dialogues are so damn good even after all these years, a lot of them even better than I remember. I know that for budget reasons they couldn't do location specific languages and accents mostly, but it's never bothered me because the performances are so good lul
I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but just wanna say Im glad I'm not the only one who just stops and listens to them! The most interesting one to me, that reminds me of the guard in NZ who talked about Colorado, is a woman on the phone in the shisha cafe in Marrakesh. She worked for Dahlia Margolis or something, and she was on the phone freaking out about, I think, the black market auction. Iirc she didn't seem to know yet that the Paris targets were dead, and she was on the run for her life. Really good acting and made me feel the depth of the world IO made for their villains. It's a scary place to be sure for an NPC
My issue with Colorado is that it's supposed to take place in the US,but the entire militia speaks in a heavy British accent. I get that some might be mercs and former SAS and all, but some of them should have been recruited locally.
@@zinc333 I dunno, I forget, think that guy is like Amos Dexter or something. I could look it up on the wiki but I don't really care that much lol. Absolution had some decent to good moments, but that Dexter antagonist wasn't one of them.

For the rest, is perfect. I also really liked the gritty, grim and dark atmosphere of the original games. There is still that atmosphere but it's not the same. There should be also a information chart explaining stuff from the lore when you get more experience from missions. I never understood the training simulation in Hitman. Are all those people just actors, then? Are you actually killing folks? Good few questions to be asked.
A clear answer cannot be given. Yes, these are all actors, and we do not kill them. But there are exceptions. Why were there mattresses in the first test? so that the actors do not get hurt. But there are areas without mattresses. Or Jasper Knight for example. We actually launched him using an ejection system without a parachute. That's why the actors are so surprised. By the way. In the first test, two people in the ship's cargo hold have a normal conversation, but if you move out of their line of sight, one of them will say something like "Was that him?". Also, one guard will make a comment in our direction when we are disguised as a mechanic. It indicates the precarious state of the ship, for it is made of boxes and cardboard. From myself I will note one thing. I am very surprised by the quality of this trilogy. Such small dialogues and even monologues help to understand the world of the game. For a long time I could not understand who these guards were on the streets in China until I stopped and simply listened to their conversations. I even feel sorry for them when they become targets.
The ICA isn’t a normal military corporation. They are a contractor that have Hitman around the globe killing those with dark pasts and those who fund and commit acts of terrorism. They could trick people into being in a “Play” that is really a kill-house with real people instead of targets.
