"Ms. Burn wood, we won a long time ago. This-- Is just maintenence." 32:59 killer line AND delivery. This guy performed an amazing "kingmaker" without also making him an arrogant ass.
Oh god yes--as one who loved his work as Aaron Keener in The Division and The Division 2 (where he was a cold-ass bastard too), John Hopkins did a phenomenal job as Lucas Grey.
Bro I’d go far enough, and say one of the greatest video game cutscenes of all time. I mean, holy shit, the setting, lighting, and dialogue; that wasn’t a video game at that point, that was a short film. Insane.
The ending cutscene of the first game is probably my favorite. In it, Providence isn't some super evil super villian group with plans to melt the ice caps; rather, they are just the world elite that already control the globe. And, with their group under attack by "the milita", a coalition of terrorists and criminals led by the shadow client, he's technically right that Providence is "the lesser evil." In my opinion, it's a brilliant scene that adds an amazing amount of grounding and nuance to the main antagonists.
Gosh, I almost cried watching the ending. Being a big fan of the trilogy there's just so much emotion packed inside that last two lines: I choose this path because I can. It's good to be back. (Donno if there'd be another game but I think it kinda also ends at the right place.) Excellent game. Thanks a lot for uploading the cutscenes!
Yeah I mean John Wick also retired only one way but I don't like 47 going back to do doing his "thing" such hypocrisy. But then again what's he gonna do? Suffer from PTSD and become a heroine addict ? I love the story too very much, 20+ years! I don't how 2016 started after the events of Absolution though and tropes and repetition like always but it's a good past time, really takes away from reality.
They said that 3 is not the end but they are focused on 007 rn. They are gonna keep putting out content for Hitman 3 and when the bond game is finished then they will do 4
Its beautiful. This game's dialogue is like characters playing chess with each other. A slow paced Aaron Sorkin-type espionage. This is how you write espionage - a focus on suspense and character than action.
Hitman - Animation for the cutscenes, still images for the mission briefings. Hitman 2 - Still images for the cutscenes, animation for the mission briefings. Hitman 3 - Animation throughout the game, still images completely removed.
It must be admitted that the animations, especially in part 1, show the characters' emotions very well. Edwards' reluctance towards Fanin, or the messenger's understanding when Gray mentioned Cobb.
I really enjoyed the story in the first 2 games, but the third game was a bittersweet experience for me. The conclusion was fitting but I didn't feel as hooked.
This is actually incomplete. Most notably, it's missing the cutscene after Haven Island where it's discovered that the Constant just escaped and seized all of the Partners' assets.
These cutscenes would be 10/10 if it wasn't for this asmr'ish half-whispering voice of the constant. Thank god there is the hold to 2x feature on RUclips
The game dropping you into Berlin without a cutscene was intentional, as it’s suppose to help drive drive home the fact (by making you feel it) that you no longer have Diana there to give you a mission briefing and thus an idea of what you’re about to get yourself into.
i assumed the baldness was a side effect of the memory/emotion blocking serum. they probably just made the kids shave their heads before though, its not an uncommon conditioning tactic used on prisoners/military trainees/etc

I still think the cutscene where Grey confronts the Providence key holder in the car garage is one of the coldest in the trilogy
“Don’t. I just killed you.”
*”Then we’re even.”*
That’s still one of the most brutal one liners I’ve ever heard man

“I play dirty. That’s how you defeat a stronger opponent”
This line went so hard I am still thinking about it even now
5:51 of course, Mr 47 couldn’t be an effective and suave man without bringing his official rubber ducky
Man, IO nailed this trilogy. Just some of the best games ever
The ending cutscene of the first game is probably my favorite. This was a great trilogy. Very consistently solid from beginning to end.

Thay said that 3 Will be the end for now I suspect maby 4 in 2 maby 3 years ish
@@Senan_is_cool24 there wont be a 4th, IO are working on a James Bond game. Hitman WOA was what got them the opportunity.
@@Sairagna thay literally said thay might make another game in a few years

Complex story, but great and I love the writing of 47, because you see in many moments that he also has feelings

The best trilogy ever. Never failed to disappoint me.
I really like Hitman games. But the World Of Assassination Trilogy is my most favourite
It must be admitted that the animations, especially in part 1, show the characters' emotions very well. Edwards' reluctance towards Fanin, or the messenger's understanding when Gray mentioned Cobb.
Hitman 2, the object lesson in why you bother to animate films instead of just showing a series of stills.
True
True, but IO's budget was in the toilet for HITMAN 2. I give them slack for it and am just glad we got HITMAN 2 & III period.
@@CYB3Redux Thanks for the Info. I didn't know about this fact.
Cutscenes aren’t the best, but the missions are.
@@CYB3ReduxIts a miracle we got Hitman 2 in the first place
the best stealth game since Metal Gear Solid. best video game of the 8th generation❤
I wish we'd gotten more missions with 47, Diana and Lucas
Love this "movie" thanks
The writing is so good. Masterful
I really enjoyed the story in the first 2 games, but the third game was a bittersweet experience for me. The conclusion was fitting but I didn't feel as hooked.
Missing a couple cutscenes, mainly the ending cutscenes for the Hitman 2 DLC missions...
Thanks for uploading this :)
Masterpiece
I'm level 830 and had never watched the cutscenes before this. What a great story.
1:42:52 james burnwood was 9 years old?
Yeah James was Diana's brother.
Yea he died because of blue seed then Diana's dad sued
Then blue seed hired 47 to kill her dad
This is actually incomplete. Most notably, it's missing the cutscene after Haven Island where it's discovered that the Constant just escaped and seized all of the Partners' assets.
man this game's story can be at times epic, but mostly cheesy as hell, but either way its a fun story
only the truly strong can handle the cheese.
These cutscenes would be 10/10 if it wasn't for this asmr'ish half-whispering voice of the constant. Thank god there is the hold to 2x feature on RUclips
Bro thinks he’s the Gman
At 19:30, my favorite cutscene.
Grey was the best thing In the series the build up leading to him was well done
He who hold the sword decides who holds the pen ! Epic
Came looking for an all cutscenes video because I felt like I missed something between the Dartmoor and Berlin levels.. Apparently not.
The game dropping you into Berlin without a cutscene was intentional, as it’s suppose to help drive drive home the fact (by making you feel it) that you no longer have Diana there to give you a mission briefing and thus an idea of what you’re about to get yourself into.
If Grey is subject 6, isn't he supposed to be bald like 47?
He’s wearing a wig. Trust me, my dad works at IOI and he told me.
hair implant or a wig
It’s possible he just grew his hair out he faked his death in 89 so that’s 30 plus years to grow his hair
i assumed the baldness was a side effect of the memory/emotion blocking serum. they probably just made the kids shave their heads before though, its not an uncommon conditioning tactic used on prisoners/military trainees/etc
Maybe 47 likes to shave his head. It does reduce the chance of leaving any hairs behind as DNA evidence.

I liked the 4 first Hitman games, but know i don't know nothing about it
I was so close to heartbreak thinking hitman going to quit in the end
Why this still not turned into series. Different places and main target in every episode or every season. They missing big potential.

Providence will not last for longer we
are gonna make sure of that .
