Beautiful bike! I'm glad the billiard gray is now the base color. My 2015 Ultra is vivid black and, while it's really nice looking, compared to some of the other really lustrous and beautiful paint colors Harley has, vivid black is the least inspiring. Great review and thank you for this!

Why does everybody keep saying the price went down? Last year's base model Street Glide in the MUCH LESS UGLY Vivid Black was $21999.00. If my public school level math is correct, that's a $4,000 increase!

I went into the local hd dealer. They said 33k for the road glide or street glide special. I said that's 10k too much. In an hour, the price was 22k. I guess it was 11k too much.

I like what I see with this bike right here! More power. More tech. Less expensive than last year. NICE! I really do like the changes to the fairing and the rest of the body too. This was long overdue and looks much more modern. To me, the more I see this, the more I think the older style looks tired.

I'm on a new Breakout but had a 15 Street Glide Special and I went to check out the new Street Glide, I guess because I'm on a Breakout now when I got on the new SG it still felt pretty hefty to me, 18lbs is still 18lbs but I couldn't tell the difference. I was almost going to stick with the SG but I do like the Breakout a lot.

The frame and bike are the same from 2009 to 2023 in terms of Street Glide.. Yes the changed the infotainment in 14, and engines from 96 to 103 to 107 to 114 to 117.. but you can easily make them all powerful at about the same cost.. They all look and perform very similar..

I can change the throttle sensitivity on the tuner of my bike, so I get what the "modes" feel like but its all just a bunch of useless stuff TBH.. I rented a 2018 in Florida and just like my 2010, I never used the screen, I use the phone bluetooth for music and just ride.. I really see no need for all the extra electronics on motorcycles.. Had an 02 RK for 15yrs with a 95"kit and big wheels & bars.. Loved the bike, sold it and bought a friends 2010 SG in 2019 with only V&H 2into1 and radio upgrade 18k miles for $7k bucks.. put new 21 wheel, bars, built the 96 to 107 high comp with S&S 585's, rekluse clutch, comp, ohlins shocks front and back.. It makes 120+hp, put on some 14+ bags, new step up seat.. its fully done.. about $15k total investment.. There is no way I'm every paying $30-$40k for a new bike that has tons of stock parts that you will have to change.. Always buy used for cheap and put your parts on or find one with the most parts you like to save.. There are so many used low mi harleys out for sale its silly to buy these new honda sounding bikes..

I bet you still buy shoes and not complain about the 1000% upcharge due to undisclosed fees and if you own a new car you paid some fee as well. @@theinfinitryda Sorry; I am not a subscriber and have not followed your channel to see where you are. But I disagree with the statement that 'all dealerships of every brand gas fees." Well, maybe where you are, not where I am at. Plus maybe you forgot that this is 2024 now and almost every single bike dealer is overflowing with inventory, both used and new. If you still think we as buyers should accept endless fees and other charges being added due to 'market conditions' ... well, I don't know what to tell you. Heck, go check the prices on the Eisenhauer's Chesapeake Harley Davidson page in Darlington, MD and see for yourself how decent dealers do business those days. Lastly, there is no need to 'name call' and throw silly comments ("Oh let me guess, that Indian or foreign bike you’re riding ...."). Seriously? Was that really necessary? I guess I'm in the minority, because I think the new fairing looks way over-styled. The new fairing completely screwed up the aero on the Street Glide, so now Harley already has a recall on Street Glide and CVO to limit top speed to 100 mph. Also don't like the air filter...those things just keep getting larger and uglier. Although that might be an easy fix. Epic Fail in my book. Oh and the gray paint sux too!
