The world difficulty is only for players that wants a challenge, ever since the optimization station came out, farming isn't restricted to the higher difficulty. All players has to do now is farm for the gear with the attributes they want and just optimize it. For me heroic is more for how well I have put my build together rather then farming for god roll items. Is it over rated? For farming gear yes, in some ways. As I've said higher difficulty like heroic are more for field testing how well a build a player has put together rather then for farming.
@@Eric-zi8sd I was mainly referring to just the open world. But on heroic missions the rolls on gear and weapons are better but the rate drop is lower. Farming the open world nets a better drop rate especially when doing the CP's and activities.
@Rick Marr Or farming specific Exotics what might drop only certain bosses (tho now u can Farm ANY Exotics just replaying general anderson mission with normal difficulty and end of mission u get random Exotic (u can even get btsu datagloves even those usually only drop from Galveston boss in Camp White Oak mission)
I watched your video about half an hour ago. I have to be honest bro, you just changed my game. For pure gear and resource running, challenging has it locked down, for set plays like bounties or control points heroic is great but open world running on heroic is like black hawk down. Heroic turns D.C. into Mogadishu in the 90's. Thanks, great content.
I absolutely love, Love, LOVE Heroic, in fact one of my most favorite things to do is attack a level 4 control point and then invite and Elite Patrol or Elite Resource Convoy and even an Aerial Recon to the party, The utter chaos that ensues is pure bliss IMO. When I do this playing co-op my buddy says "you ain't right man!!" but he enjoys the conflict just as much as I do, because the payoff is immensely satisfying, most times we'll level up twice during the conflict, I liken it to creating your own horde mode because the waves and waves of elites that pour out is unbelievable sometimes. You talk about the factions fighting in the streets, I love to jump in the middle of it and stir them up, It's like being in the Alamo in the middle of the street, most times i try and drag them toward a control point, Territory control or propaganda broadcast, the more the merrier IMO. My only problem with Heroic is the amount of Purple loot that still drops, IMO there should be ZERO purple loot dropping on Heroic and Legendary.
I personal love to improve my self to deal with the highest difficulty. On Heroic it's not only the fact that there are more NPC. AI behavior is better,smarter...they try to flank you more. I love that but I play that with a fully maxed Agents. So In terms of character development and farming challenging mode could be better because you get more loot in the same time. Where the LZ on heroic with directives really shines is in a squad imo. You're on the way to clear a CP...a openworld boss attacks you which trigger other mobs near by....after that you start your CP attack...tough fight and shortly before the end of the 2nd wave a elite recourse convoy reach the CP and it get hard again....30minutes after you start your CP clearing you kill the last mob with your squad and clear it.... wet hands on the controller... satisfying feeling and than you hear the special theme because rouge agent's show up. That's the full beauty of this game...more action than in every other mission or even raids. But I see your point that you need experienced agent's,good builds a a good squad for this. So doing the daily "bread and butter" work on challenging is ok. Best regards from Germany 🇩🇪
That's his point though. Heroic is good to play once your character is complete but all the mayhem can make simple tasks or manhunts take hours. Thus less loot drops

Work smarter, not harder. Challenging will provide everything you need without all the bullshit of heroic. I get more exotic & god rolled drops on challenging than I ever did on heroic.
I've been playing MMOs for 20 years. The problem with MMOs, they force players to farm for good items. A little farm is no harmful. However, right now, it is out of hand. For example; I'm SHD level 800 now. I have only 2 maxed gear mods which are skill haste and skill duration. I've been farming mods for so long that I'm bored and stopped that. Which declined my game time significantly. This is the place where it gets dangereous. I you push too much, players get bored. If you dont push hard, it gets to easy to achieve. Just like WoW is struggling now. The problem with heroic difficulity is, I can solo anything I want with 6 directives and it is not harder than challenging. It only gets more time since there are more NPCs and no quality loot either. Which is again, boring. They need to increase difficulity and loot quality or more players like me will give up eventually. I expect a maxed out item or mod if I clear a control point and elite patrol at the same time while 6 directives active in heroic difficulity and there is nothing wrong with this. The wrong part is getting a purple item out of it. Seriously, devs... For the optimisation, it requires way too much resources and time. Again, makes it frustrating and boring. The idea is good but needs a rework for sure.
I'm playing heroic 'cause that'll give me a challenge. I actually need to use medkits/plates, think of what I'm doing. On challenging I can just run and gun. Only thing I can't do is deal with those two hunters on top of the summit, they just take way too many bullets to kill, especially since I can't really use any skills. Also run with few directives on. I wish the breaking armor would work 100%, because now it doesn't get fixed every time and if it bugs, I need to go to safehouse to get it fixed.
heroic is better for control points, missions,and strong holds as far as increased loot drops.....and obviously for xp.....everything else can be farmed on challenge level.......now as of 2024 if you looking for just loot drops just do countdown on challenge.....and if you looking for just xp go on heroic and put on 4 directives and hit the public executions!!(they have highest xp)
Me being new to the game some might say I have no right saying what I'm about to say but 🤷🏿♂️ ....you are right gameydaddy heroic is over rated I find that all it does is frustrate me I can never get good positioning to layout some type of strategy and when i do the same thing that happend to you in the vid is what I went through on heroic i will empty whole mags (mags from exotic weapons) into an npc and absolutely nothing happens to them not even with an effect Stat they are invincible and all it takes is to bullets from them and your down and the way the spawn system works is just ridiculous at times! I like to play the wall when I shoot so I know that nothing is behind me but no matter what I do even when I hug the wall I get flanked and out numbered and killed instantly. ..now if I were using regular weapons than I probably wouldn't be saying this but when we grind the way we all have to get these weapons I for one expect these weapons to do some serious damage but on heroic you might as well have a slingshot cause the special weapons the game created do nothing to the enemy in a way it kinda defeats the purpose. Just my opinion!
You're exactly right. In Challenging I can enjoy my custom build, how the sinergy works or not so as I thought. The loot is about 50% usable, 10 very desireble to keep and recalibrate or optimize and 5% Very, very good rolls sometimes almost perfect God rolls or almost. And yes...Exotics drops every now and then, because I can take down the Bosses NPC, rinse and repeat. Not so quick on Heroic. And even in Normal I have received EXOTICS, not common, almost never but it do happens and I got the video to prove it. Folks remember to change the Fire Range difficulty on the hall outside, because Named NPC on Challenging are not the same as on Heroic as when CP are level 4 or Bountys. Some youtubers online posting videos showing their DPS against Named NPC on Normal and when we go to that CP Level4..... Surprise surprise, you CinnamonToast.
If you play heroic and keep getting wiped your not ready for it 🤷♂️ I like the fact that other factions turn up it keep you in your toes, I’ve had some epic encounters in the open world that make the game feel more playable.
I'm at the point now that I play heroic in open world just for the sake of it, I have a serious run n gun style and hell I do that style even on legendary summit, if players want to have a better survivability in it where your headphones and listen. I always hear from what side an enemy is coming from. As far as loot goes, I'm pretty satisfied with all I have and although loot is trash in heroic AND legendary, every once n a while a nice piece may drop that I think I might not have and I get it. I play it just to enjoy myself. I'm a try today to get you my build for my run n gun and mind you, it's all one piece of different brands and it works for my play style. Keep up the great work.
Ever since we can optimize, I've played challenging with directives. It's still has good XP/drops without the sponges and constant enemy groups spawning.
I've just recently started using all the directives, and it's really good. The only issue I come across is the special ammo directive while fighting Black tusk (they shock you and take your skills away constantly. It sucks with scavenged skill directive) and Outcasts (the fire in this game is just ridiculous, idk why it acts as a disorient).
Just didn't Lincoln memorial on heroic and got 2 shot buy a yellow guy with shotgun.. had to restart the entire mission. Just left the game and looked up is it worth to play heroic
I think it can be pretty hilarious and sometimes maddening on heroic when your just running to an activity in the open world and run into factions fighting each other. You engage and before you know it you've stirred up the hornets nest lol.
Great content,keep up the good work. I used to stay away from Heroic, as it was quite difficult. Over time I improved my builds and took on the challenge. It's fun and also I seem to get better loot, so when I'm trying to farm a specific piece I will try to play on Heroic difficulty.
I agree..I have about 10 different builds that can get me through heroic but I have zero desire to do so when you can get basically the same loot on challenging in far less time..I use to play countdown on heroic when farming specific pieces of gear..now I just run on challenging and get about the same rolls (and more of it) and then optimize.
Watching your vid now.. I only play with Global set to Challenging, as you said 'it's where it's at' :) it keeps me busy, keeps me on my toes and the gear is OK through to god rolled. You can clear all the CP's on the map quick, and if you need a harder fight you can ( as I do) go for Heroic Bounties. PS I'm not dissing Heroic at all, alot of people breeze through it but for me, at my level (SHD350) Challenging is perfect
While I agree challenging is the better difficulty for enjoyment and efficiency for farming, I prefer heroic. I really like that challenge of smarter AI flanking and calling out my actions to other enemies which make me change my approach and my thought process. I use an SMG run and gun build for both open world and mission/summit and it serves me very well in heroic. I still farm on heroic because it keeps me engaged but I'd reccomend to most to farm on challenging with directives.
It was back at level 30, but power has crept so hard... I restarted my account from scratch and was casually farming Heroic within 3 weeks. With Optimization (and the introduction of cheese sets like Hunters fury), getting into Heroic is nothing compared to what I remember it being around the WONY launch. ALSO, I don't know what its like on challenging, but no more purples on Heroic. Feels nice. You can still get em in world crates but no more purple drops.
Funny thing is I partially stopped playing because even heroic was a cake walk with 4 clan members who knew what they were doing. Unpopular opinion but I miss the beta difficulty and post launch difficulty . too bad the devs didn’t let people play the difficulty they are good at and be done with it. Seemed like the devs said Everyone should be able to feel good and play the game on “heroic.”/ endgame difficulty. Ridiculous.
Maaaaaan here I was thinking my build wasn't hitting hard enough . Seeing you get shredded on Heroic made me feel better 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 . But this is why I run an adaptable build that works regardless the scenario
exactly on challenging you can pull both of those activities at the same time I do that often when 2 are so close together, sometimes not on purpose (skills will target the other activity) it no big deal just need to watch for rushers
For me personally the only thing I run on Heroic are missions, strongholds and Control points other that I do open world on challenging. Mind you I can do heroic solo but just takes to long especially if all you wanna do is farm for gear. Great video 👍
Definitely over rated! Unless you try to John Wick it in a group of 4, then your over rated. I play heroic 4 directives always, loot is not my priority. In fact we need a turn off loot button, inventory management sucks. When your maxed out, loot just slows you down, and how can you pass up god rolled right stats loot. fortunately I’m told the RNG gods favor me, players call me their personal loot goblin cause I drop all my loot for them.
I only play challenging i feel like my loot rng is way better than heroic all i get on heroic is rainbow gear, 😂 challenging with directives is the way to go much faster to farm in the long run
Heroic is where to be in my opinion, increases your game play and chances of good quality loot, some of the players dont have the time to farm for components, either way it depends on the time and way to play.
I’m old school. I just like fighting, being challenged, getting out by the skin of my teeth. Everything isn’t about optimizing the fun out of the game.
As far as farming goes i would say challenging has offered up way more "decent" drops. Heroic is fun but really makes single incursions much more time consuming. As for their rewards i dont see any major benefit to heroic for the time invested!
Helped someone on shepherd one day doing a 3 target bounty on Heroic and an aerial drone came in the end. Was a heck of time trying to get it done but got a Chameleon at the end of the deal. Not bad but not exactly ideal for farming. Too much time spent into doing it.
I kind of like heroic level but it does take longer to complete and when complete the drops aren't really worth the time and effort. By doing challenging you can do it in half the time and then do twice as much. Granted the loot may need more resources to optimize but is it really that much?
Does your watch not level faster in Heroic? It seems like I have it happen more often than the lover difficulty of Challenging. Can anyone confirm that?
I am struggling on Story settings, i wish the game can actually easy on this mode and i need someone to hold my hand through it all. What was Ubisoft thinking. That is why you have harder settings when you improve.
so right heroic is a waste of time if u r farming! learned that quick, if Im farming in the OW then I use challenging with 4 directives on ,if not farming and just want 2 have fun then heroic with 4 directives !!
Hey. Awesome. I am new and fresh from completing NYC to get level 40. I understand Open World is better for me at Challenging. But for Missions and Invaded for better loot and Exotics, can I run them as Challenging as well..
Yes heroic is more challenging but the rols are definitively better and the amount of materials, namely the one you get from activities are so high that the difference in number of times you have to rol a item beetween the one from challenging to heroic accounts for much more time farming. So if you can and feel comfortable with it go heroic, otherwise there is no shame at all in any difficulty
With added difficulty, the stats of the loot should be better than gear obtained on a lower difficulty besides earning more XP. What's the incentive of playing on a harder difficulty if the value of the gear is the same as what could drop on normal or hard difficulty?
I know there is No way I would not be able survive on heroic or probably even challenging but in the open world but I will do challenge on missions, I’m jut not that great.
The problem is armor system needs reworked 🤦♂️ Even if you had full blue you’d still be melted in a couple secs it’s ridiculous But yeah it’s very aggravating when you get spam flanked especially by a elite patrol u get hammered from every direction Which I’d be okay with if they actually treated the other factions as the enemy and you but no they are just swarm you
I see your point, I use regen, up to 6% regen with most crit C and D. 3 blue and 4 reds. Lady, memento and hunter killer. Decoy and shield. Heroic. I've been contemplating going challenging and using more reds, that would be fun. Good timing on this video.

Weak builds, and weak players need to stay on the Challenging side of the road. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy the Heroic fighting, and the joy of watching my wife face tank and rip through NPCs.
I run it with 4 detective on and I get maxed roles and a few god role gear! *Please note: I call god roles gear is gear with max weapon and both attributes are maxed! That is a god role gear! If you find gear with 2 things mixed out then it's just maxed role gear!
I have almost soloed almost all missions on heroic.Loot should have been better. When you do a Heroic mission and kill the boss for the first time its like mehhh..wher is the loot. But then again its where I got most of my exotics:)
I dont play hard difficulty only challenging or heroic but when i was 1st learning how to play i played on hard and got a almost GOD rolled chameleon Exotic. I probably got lucky though
Heroic & Legendary really isn't hard when playing meta builds. It only gets difficult when you play outside the box builds, without named gloves, knee pads etc. then it becomes really challenging, otherwise when you play all the broken stuff these difficulty levels aren't/feel like heroic or legendary anymore. In addition, Massive has set it up so that you can play everything alone except for the raids. Although I've already seen Solo Boomer Run here on RUclips 🤣🤣🤣 with the Scorpio ......... We've been preaching since the release of The Division 2, Massively please your new system doesn't work, then constant updates that ultimately led to this game being in its worst state in years. I'm not talking about graphics or design etc. here it's about the implementation and content as well as the replay value and the endgame. Here is an interesting comment I would like to show you. I quote: This game to me is all about talents and synergy not just famas crit build goes brrr, > passive talents should be small non game changing buffs things like reload speed and an accuracy stat that matters, and other stronger talents which there should be many and require an 'if this' 'then that', you know, to create the playstyles that make the game interesting. also with strong viable and reliable counters, thats what this game lacks on a smaller scale.
My clan plays on Heroic all the time, and we do it for the excitement, and we get way better drops than Challenging. Plus, why would you want to optimize low rolled gear all the time, and spend your time mat farming all the time?
I'm not trying to be an ass here, but its funny to me you change your world tier down to challenging and then end your vid at you getting smoked. The loot quality differences between challenging and heroic world tier matter. You cant just say, use the optimization station...those SHD calibration materials are in limited supply. You want to stay in challenging because you cant hack heroic, thats fine...but you cannot legitimately argue that heroic is overrated. Just recently, I was answering Shepard's calls and met a cool dude, we're now friends and play other games together, but he was on Normal and swore it was just as good as heroic, only less deadly, I took him to heroic summit, had him set his loot for hana-u, empress international and wyvren (also got him his Capacitor) and I dropped him a Momento and a Scorpio...now he has a solid skill tier build, he can run ALL difficulties. Its about HOW you farm. Once he got a decent setup we went and ran CP4s and the amount and quality of loot he got blew his mind...he also now, a week later, has a maxed out recal library and godrolled builds---Without using the optimization station even once. Moral of the story, World Tier matters.
What this guy is not telling you When you want to get the Special gear, or exotics, they are better on heroic missions. And if you decide to play legendary, your skills, gear will be lacking from playing on challenging.

Heck yeah. When you can mesh together multiple Heroic-level open world activities into one maelstrom it's so good.

At the end of the day both are enjoyable, but challenging is less time consuming. I just appreciate how much there is to do.

I'm at the point now that I play heroic in open world just for the sake of it, I have a serious run n gun style and hell I do that style even on legendary summit, if players want to have a better survivability in it where your headphones and listen. I always hear from what side an enemy is coming from. As far as loot goes, I'm pretty satisfied with all I have and although loot is trash in heroic AND legendary, every once n a while a nice piece may drop that I think I might not have and I get it. I play it just to enjoy myself. I'm a try today to get you my build for my run n gun and mind you, it's all one piece of different brands and it works for my play style. Keep up the great work.
Ever since we can optimize, I've played challenging with directives. It's still has good XP/drops without the sponges and constant enemy groups spawning.
I do the same. Clear control points quickly get that xp. I’m a retuning player and my watch level is only at 530.
I've just recently started using all the directives, and it's really good.
The only issue I come across is the special ammo directive while fighting Black tusk (they shock you and take your skills away constantly. It sucks with scavenged skill directive) and Outcasts (the fire in this game is just ridiculous, idk why it acts as a disorient).
Almost every chest opened in Heroic map is purple.
Just didn't Lincoln memorial on heroic and got 2 shot buy a yellow guy with shotgun.. had to restart the entire mission. Just left the game and looked up is it worth to play heroic
I think it can be pretty hilarious and sometimes maddening on heroic when your just running to an activity in the open world and run into factions fighting each other. You engage and before you know it you've stirred up the hornets nest lol.
Great content,keep up the good work. I used to stay away from Heroic, as it was quite difficult. Over time I improved my builds and took on the challenge. It's fun and also I seem to get better loot, so when I'm trying to farm a specific piece I will try to play on Heroic difficulty.
You're right, I think playing in Heroic doesn't give you enough incentive. The loot just isn't worth the extra effort
I agree..I have about 10 different builds that can get me through heroic but I have zero desire to do so when you can get basically the same loot on challenging in far less time..I use to play countdown on heroic when farming specific pieces of gear..now I just run on challenging and get about the same rolls (and more of it) and then optimize.

I only play with Global set to Challenging, as you said 'it's where it's at' :) it keeps me busy, keeps me on my toes and the gear is OK through to god rolled. You can clear all the CP's on the map quick, and if you need a harder fight you can ( as I do) go for Heroic Bounties.
PS I'm not dissing Heroic at all, alot of people breeze through it but for me, at my level (SHD350) Challenging is perfect
While I agree challenging is the better difficulty for enjoyment and efficiency for farming, I prefer heroic. I really like that challenge of smarter AI flanking and calling out my actions to other enemies which make me change my approach and my thought process. I use an SMG run and gun build for both open world and mission/summit and it serves me very well in heroic. I still farm on heroic because it keeps me engaged but I'd reccomend to most to farm on challenging with directives.

@Mike Saravia Challenging Exotic drop rate is 4% & Heroic drop rate 5%, depens on u how about many times u really want to run some missions.
It was back at level 30, but power has crept so hard... I restarted my account from scratch and was casually farming Heroic within 3 weeks. With Optimization (and the introduction of cheese sets like Hunters fury), getting into Heroic is nothing compared to what I remember it being around the WONY launch.
ALSO, I don't know what its like on challenging, but no more purples on Heroic. Feels nice. You can still get em in world crates but no more purple drops.
Funny thing is I partially stopped playing because even heroic was a cake walk with 4 clan members who knew what they were doing. Unpopular opinion but I miss the beta difficulty and post launch difficulty . too bad the devs didn’t let people play the difficulty they are good at and be done with it. Seemed like the devs said Everyone should be able to feel good and play the game on “heroic.”/ endgame difficulty. Ridiculous.

Maaaaaan here I was thinking my build wasn't hitting hard enough . Seeing you get shredded on Heroic made me feel better 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 . But this is why I run an adaptable build that works regardless the scenario
exactly on challenging you can pull both of those activities at the same time I do that often when 2 are so close together, sometimes not on purpose (skills will target the other activity) it no big deal just need to watch for rushers
For me personally the only thing I run on Heroic are missions, strongholds and Control points other that I do open world on challenging. Mind you I can do heroic solo but just takes to long especially if all you wanna do is farm for gear. Great video 👍
Definitely over rated! Unless you try to John Wick it in a group of 4, then your over rated.
I play heroic 4 directives always, loot is not my priority. In fact we need a turn off loot button, inventory management sucks. When your maxed out, loot just slows you down, and how can you pass up god rolled right stats loot.
fortunately I’m told the RNG gods favor me, players call me their personal loot goblin cause I drop all my loot for them.
I only play challenging i feel like my loot rng is way better than heroic all i get on heroic is rainbow gear, 😂 challenging with directives is the way to go much faster to farm in the long run
Heroic is where to be in my opinion, increases your game play and chances of good quality loot, some of the players dont have the time to farm for components, either way it depends on the time and way to play.
I’m old school. I just like fighting, being challenged, getting out by the skin of my teeth. Everything isn’t about optimizing the fun out of the game.
As far as farming goes i would say challenging has offered up way more "decent" drops. Heroic is fun but really makes single incursions much more time consuming. As for their rewards i dont see any major benefit to heroic for the time invested!

Helped someone on shepherd one day doing a 3 target bounty on Heroic and an aerial drone came in the end. Was a heck of time trying to get it done but got a Chameleon at the end of the deal. Not bad but not exactly ideal for farming. Too much time spent into doing it.
I kind of like heroic level but it does take longer to complete and when complete the drops aren't really worth the time and effort. By doing challenging you can do it in half the time and then do twice as much. Granted the loot may need more resources to optimize but is it really that much?
Does your watch not level faster in Heroic? It seems like I have it happen more often than the lover difficulty of Challenging. Can anyone confirm that?
I am struggling on Story settings, i wish the game can actually easy on this mode and i need someone to hold my hand through it all. What was Ubisoft thinking. That is why you have harder settings when you improve.
so right heroic is a waste of time if u r farming! learned that quick, if Im farming in the OW then I use challenging with 4 directives on ,if not farming and just want 2 have fun then heroic with 4 directives !!
Hey. Awesome. I am new and fresh from completing NYC to get level 40. I understand Open World is better for me at Challenging. But for Missions and Invaded for better loot and Exotics, can I run them as Challenging as well..
Yes heroic is more challenging but the rols are definitively better and the amount of materials, namely the one you get from activities are so high that the difference in number of times you have to rol a item beetween the one from challenging to heroic accounts for much more time farming. So if you can and feel comfortable with it go heroic, otherwise there is no shame at all in any difficulty
With added difficulty, the stats of the loot should be better than gear obtained on a lower difficulty besides earning more XP. What's the incentive of playing on a harder difficulty if the value of the gear is the same as what could drop on normal or hard difficulty?
I know there is No way I would not be able survive on heroic or probably even challenging but in the open world but I will do challenge on missions, I’m jut not that great.

I see your point, I use regen, up to 6% regen with most crit C and D. 3 blue and 4 reds. Lady, memento and hunter killer. Decoy and shield. Heroic. I've been contemplating going challenging and using more reds, that would be fun. Good timing on this video.
I'll add I use mods protection from elites.

@@carlomandacina4617 I've been playing with my clan on Heroic since Warlords, and I'll just say that it isn't for everyone. Weak builds, and weak players need to stay on the Challenging side of the road. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy the Heroic fighting, and the joy of watching my wife face tank and rip through NPCs.

Both. You just need resources.
I run it with 4 detective on and I get maxed roles and a few god role gear! *Please note: I call god roles gear is gear with max weapon and both attributes are maxed! That is a god role gear! If you find gear with 2 things mixed out then it's just maxed role gear!
Hard mode does have gains, you just have to keep doing the bigger stuff. I want to get to shd 1000 before I go heroic

I have almost soloed almost all missions on heroic.Loot should have been better. When you do a Heroic mission and kill the boss for the first time its like mehhh..wher is the loot. But then again its where I got most of my exotics:)
The mayhem is priceless. I don't care if there are Elites, Veterans or faction fights because my assault rifle craves for action 😁
I dont play hard difficulty only challenging or heroic but when i was 1st learning how to play i played on hard and got a almost GOD rolled chameleon Exotic. I probably got lucky though

Heroic & Legendary really isn't hard when playing meta builds.
It only gets difficult when you play outside the box builds, without named gloves, knee pads etc. then it becomes really challenging, otherwise when you play all the broken stuff these difficulty levels aren't/feel like heroic or legendary anymore.
In addition, Massive has set it up so that you can play everything alone except for the raids.
Although I've already seen Solo Boomer Run here on RUclips 🤣🤣🤣 with the Scorpio .........
We've been preaching since the release of The Division 2, Massively please your new system doesn't work, then constant updates that ultimately led to this game being in its worst state in years. I'm not talking about graphics or design etc. here it's about the implementation and content as well as the replay value and the endgame.

My clan plays on Heroic all the time, and we do it for the excitement, and we get way better drops than Challenging. Plus, why would you want to optimize low rolled gear all the time, and spend your time mat farming all the time?

I'm not trying to be an ass here, but its funny to me you change your world tier down to challenging and then end your vid at you getting smoked.
The loot quality differences between challenging and heroic world tier matter.
You cant just say, use the optimization station...those SHD calibration materials are in limited supply.
You want to stay in challenging because you cant hack heroic, thats fine...but you cannot legitimately argue that heroic is overrated.
Just recently, I was answering Shepard's calls and met a cool dude, we're now friends and play other games together, but he was on Normal and swore it was just as good as heroic, only less deadly, I took him to heroic summit, had him set his loot for hana-u, empress international and wyvren (also got him his Capacitor) and I dropped him a Momento and a Scorpio...now he has a solid skill tier build, he can run ALL difficulties.
Its about HOW you farm. Once he got a decent setup we went and ran CP4s and the amount and quality of loot he got blew his mind...he also now, a week later, has a maxed out recal library and godrolled builds---Without using the optimization station even once.
Moral of the story, World Tier matters.

What this guy is not telling you When you want to get the Special gear, or exotics, they are better on heroic missions. And if you decide to play legendary, your skills, gear will be lacking from playing on challenging.
Heroic is easy, even legendary difficulty isn’t that hard.

Every time I think my build is really good and play on heroic, I barely get by.
