To answer your intro question: Is expertize worth it? Yes, for some of your favorite items. Many are under the impression that it is necessary to finalize your build. That is absolutely not the case. Your build is gonna perform just fine without it. Xpertize is just the cherry on top. If your setup doesn't work without it, then it is not gonna work with it either. Just, have, fun! Enjoy!
Except - it doesn't "perform fine". Did you PLAY Division 1? Because I feel like so many of you are tackling Live Service RPGs underlevel that you think - if you are doing ANY DAMAGE AT ALL, that means "Game Fun, Game Good, Dev Good" ... I feel like MOST of you simply don't care enough to be listened to on the subject. Have fun man, doing your legendary a week with your single drone turret build like 85% of the playerbase.
@@NothinButSkillz It's a load of bullshit, it really matters once you get a boost of 25% on your main weapon or even something like your shield, hence people like you are obsessed with it to raise it to 25
I have been playing for a long time and just barely figured out how to increase my expertise, which in turn allows me to level up my gear and weapons. I wish i had known the ins and outs a long time ago because i was deconstructing items and not donating them. I would have had a much higher expertise level if it had been made more clear from the start. I mostley blame the devs because their in game tutorial is extremely lacking in detail. The grind to level up your expertise is arduous and a time suck. But the felt rewards are enormous when playing and seeing how much damage you can take and deal out.
Bro thanks so much. Even though I'm only lvl 560, I just realized I have been wasting a little bit of time and rss by NOT swapping out enough weapons and gear, and by forgetting to optimize and upgrade weapons. Thanks a Lot!
Expertise for gear items is useful if you are running a build with only weapon damage or only skill tier. Up to level 12 it only costs you material, but no exo components. With all six parts at level 12, you get about half an armor core. In PvE, this is a big advantage in terms of survivability.
I bought this game 3 days ago I came from mw3 jumped on this and wow never touch mw3 again I put on my hard drive, I perfectly understood the system straight away, my load out is all for damage and the rucksack has a bit of armour, I run 2 sniper rifles that put out huge damage (actually nuts lol) and yeah all my kit is just red everything for headshot and critical damage and weapon handling, farming the xp lol I'm loving this game adiós cod , I'm doing it the long way too just open world missions I'm only a level 20? Or just a bit more , can't wait to get my hands on the level 40 snipers the damage they do is instant death lol this game is just 👌
No man, it's not. If you played Division one you'd understand what balance means. In that game 1% felt like something, every single upgrade was meaningful. Please enjoy your game but don't jump into a playerbase aka "cOmMuNiTy" and talk like you know that everything is all good. It's not. Next year they are going to release a paid DLC (If they don't cancel it), I'd bet that if you are paying attention - you'll understand wtf old school Apple NYC Patch Gold Edition Day 1 player's problems are.
@user-c4b9b yeah I went back to cod that game began to bore the 💩outta me lol and seemed like a rip off buy this buy that how about fk that snooze fest
I've basically been raising mine by focusing on brand sets and skills but yeah. Put as much of a certain brand on ur character and go run countdown. You'll gain proficiency in 2 or 3 rounds
I still find the new Expertise system in Resurgence to be better. Instead of needing to level up everything for more expertise level, you only need to level up the individual gear set and weapon itself to raise the Expertise level. Yes, it means you will need to always start from expertise level 1 and progress it from there for each different types of Gears and guns but it focus more on leveling the things you will use over things you won't use and throw away later because you only needed Expertise exp from them. Not to mention they added more ways to upgrade the guns and gear sets as well.
After almost 2k hours i didn't know if you mark as favorite you can't delete your items. Have always been worried about accidentally deleting my Eagle bearer lol
You are apparently not paying attention. Thanks for proving my suspicions about Division 2 players correct. Actually don't watch, actually don't see, actually don't care, face rolling contrarian knee-jerk dev suckers.
I just got back in the game and have been running the summit and count down just about every day now for months. And I've been deconstructing items on a daily basis (when I run) would it be better to just run with limited items in your inventory and max out your inventory with items every time you run say summit and donate those items instead of deconstructing them?
It there a good farming method for materials besides mules?, the grind is crazy to expertise, definitely worth it but taking me a while to max out my favs
Here’s how I leveled my expertise passively. I’m a little over 1k and my expertise is 15 now and i didn’t use another character or use resources as donations. I target looted the weapons in countdown and all of the weapons I didn’t want, I marked them as junk and I donated my junk to expertise. I played the game for maybe an 1-2 hrs and farmed countdown for 1-3 runs. I was expertise 14 before I reached shd lvl 1000. 😊

There is an exploit (that the developers never discovered) that allows you to become proficient with gear super fast. Admit it... the whole system is dumb, why would anyone like to become proficient with weapons, skills or gear they hate.
This is rediculous, seriously. It wouldn't be so bad if we had competent devs who actually dropped new content, Maps, Raids, Incursions ect. But no, just grind the same maps we been grinding for years now, all so we don't get steam rolled playing the content we want (FOR ME IT'S DZ). Division 1 even did end game better than this. 😂
