Absolutely. However on something like a Wraith (longer wheelbase) it will he more forgiving. In stock form a Wraith sits much too high and you could run into driveshaft angle issues. However my setup is lower and should have no issues.
Thanks for your explanation, but I wish that the transmission of the crown could help me to have more force to climb rocks stronger better for my 2 speed transmission for an alxial SCX 10 2 1/10 Rc and a pinion for a 550 35T engine
I have heard the SCX gears are good (not the XR), this is my first time with them. I have also ran their lockers in the past and had good luck as well.
Are you using the one piece Robinson Wraith gear? I have not ran that piece myself because I was always worried about when one part failing the whole piece was junk. I wish I had a better answer for you, but I would suggest getting a new final gear and going with a stock Axial output for now. Then maybe going to something like I show in this video down the road.
if I use the super shafty long outdrive can it help with a front steel driveshaft that is a tiny bit short like a few millimeters short it looks like it would
@@HarleyDesignsInc , ok Thank you , wanting too upgrade the gears in my yeti's transmission & transfere case , upgraded spur/pinion for speed and have overdrive bevel gears on the way , any suggestions for upgrading trans/transfere case gears ?
i remember they had a lot of fit and finish problems, even back over 5 years time when I was modding the 1st gen mini z. it's all chinese-sourced materials - i'm almost positive.
Blew up their XR gears, loose bearing tolerance in MRC knuckles, low grade aluminum causing stripped screws in several parts, poor design of pressed brass inserts in link ends... etc. In general I have never been impressed.

Wow! Great information. I may build this up for my scx10 2.2

Thanks man
🤘🍻🤘
Does the Wraith & Yeti use the same transmission/transfere case ?
No, they don’t use any of the same components in the transmission.

What problems did you have with hot racing products?
