You mentionned corrosionX for wateproofing I assume the drivetrain, does it work well? If it does could you please do a video about waterproofing with corosionX?
If you've ever ran a truck like this with high power, these type of parts are a must. Plastic will not hold up in high stress areas like links and axle parts.
Crazy hard to believe a 7-year-old video would be helping me now really cool mod take care be safe
Awesome! I don't know why I never thought of using graph paper or engineering paper.
LOVE the DMG STIFFY KIT.......Can't wait to win it in the December giveaway!!! GO 3,000!!!!! Thanks for everything Harley...love the vids.
It will be ready! Lets just hope that it's "Shakedown" run is smooth since it will likely be the one that counts!
You can actually see my build up of the transmission in an earlier video of mine. It is built with parts from SuperShafty and Vanquish Products.
It's a custom piece done by "the DMG" on RCCrawler.
As said above, it is done by the DMG on RCC. He has a long wait list but it is worth the cost and time!
I just posted the template to my website, I'll add the link to the description now.
I used a heavier gauge on the roof. I don't immediately recall the thickness. I thought I said it in the video but maybe I was mistaken.
You are correct, I will be covering that process as well.

Looking forward to seeing how this is done.
I use CorrosionX for work daily. The stuff is awesome.

Did you make the set up jig that you have there?
Charles M Sloat yeah, I had it plasma cut from 1/4” steel plate.
@@HarleyDesignsInc oh wow. Ok. Thank you.
also does this chassis actually make a difference in the performance or is it for looks only
Huge differences in performance. Strength, rigidity, predictability, geometry, etc.
how does all that aluminum(i.e. differential cover, links, etc) make a difference. I am not being sarcastic. I am seriously wondering

Wath is reference your room
what kind of Dremel do you use?
I can't recall what series I used but I've gone through a lot of dremels over the years. Buy the best one you can afford!
I sanded my cage off with a die grinder and my air compressor it's was a pain
