Interesting to hear the costs broken down, makes me realize how much more we are spending because we own a home and just rv do rv trips. I caught sight of the collapsible stool on your one page and took a look at your website description. My niece gave us one for Christmas and we were all kind of baffled what to do with it. I see you use yours as a work stool.
RVing isn't cheap, that's for sure :-). And yes, Kasie sometimes uses the stool when she works. But since it doesn't have back support, I wouldn't recommend it for long sitting spells. Thanks for chcking out the website too!
Ladies
You are living my dream in my favorite Entegra.
I hope the Accolade is living up to your expectations and reliable.
You guys ain't cutting any corners.
Do ypu have a keg cooler for your favorite micro brewery? lol
Hey, you guys have fun and be safe
So far...knock on wood...BIG LADY (she's the XL version of the AccoLADE) has treated us well; just a few minor things that are covered by the warranty. No kegs, but we do have a dedicated "beer glass" section in our freezer. 🍺🍺 Cheers, and stay classy :-)
Great thought provoking information! Thank you!
You are very welcome! Glad you found it useful. Cheers!
Great to see you back here! Hope Lana is feeling better! I'm ready to watch and follow along with you on the next adventure 😎...And WOW 😲 100,000.00!!! A couple more years and you will have spent the equivalent of a Newell Coach!!🙃😃 safe travels ladies ✌🚙🍻
I think 100k might cover the maintenance on a Newell for one year. Lol
Recovery is slow, but they eye is making progress! Thanks for thinking of me. We'll get that Newell whenever we get 100K subscribers. ~Lana
Thank you! I wonder what a comparison to your home expenses would be
We didn't keep track of our expenses when we owned a home to know for sure, but I suspect that owning a home would have been comparable or slightly cheaper. A few thoughts:
*Our home taxes/insurance/utilities were likely pretty close to what we paid in campground fees.
*When we were part-time, we still had gas/maintenance/supply expenses for our RV and vehicles, but those were probably less because we traveled less. We also didn't invest in so many RV upgrades/mods because we weren't living in it.
*Before we started RVing, we spent money on a 2-3 traditional vacations each year (e.g. cruise, road trip, flying someplace warm), but I doubt that those add up to all of our RV costs.
*We definitely spend more on breweries on the road!
*Our home maintenance expenses were pretty minimal because we owned a newer home. We were also blessed to not carry a morgtage. Those are probably the main reasons why owning a home was likely cheaper. For folks who have those expenses, I suspect that RVing would be better for them financially.
@Class C Broads less expensive, but no investment return like home ownership has. Except for the experiences and of course, a beer belly.
We started RVing in 2018 and it is extremely addictive. There is something said for never to have started traveling and staying put and not knowing what you are missing. Thanks again!
Could you share what you are doing for work on the road ?
The short answer: Lana is retired. Kasie does computer stuff. Here's the details...
www.classcbroads.com/about-us
I vote next year we get total brew gallons consumed. Two categories - domestic & craft
Now that Bud Light is basically free thanks to it's rebate, that'll be an interesting tally.

Wow 😮 that’s a lot of money. Bob Wells has people pooping in bucket’s living on 600 bucks a month. 😂
Well if you got it, spend it ✌🏼
Yep, there's quite a spectrum. It was pretty eye-opening for us. Kasie loves spending money, god bless her, but the truth is that we don't feel like we are living some crazy high life. Anyway, thanks for watching.
Ok this is not a real cost of RVing but fun to know.....
It's a little too real for us. Expensive....
