    Hi there, great video! We just purchased a 2023 XL3M with same paint scheme as yours and LOVE it.Ours only came with three dogs, so I think we got ripped off LOL. But, the bathroom upper cabinet certainly needs help holding items in place and we love what you have done with the 3D bins for that shallow odd space! Also the cab drink holder mod. Any chance we could talk you into a link for the 3D files for those items? Would be very much appreciated, but if not I understand.
    I agree the oddly positioned galley tank is a pain to connect to sewer, Not sure what they were thinking there.
    Many great tips in your video, thank you so much! 👍

      If you would like another dog, you can have Earlene :-). Please drop us a line at classcbroads@gmail.com, and Kasie will send you the files. You may have to tinker with them a little to get them to work for you, but they should be a good starting point.

    Thanks so much for sharing. Now that you are 10 months in I have an XL question, have you had any problems with the flooring? It’s the only reason we are considering the base model over the XL. But I’m with you, I would love to ditch the propane.

      We have one small hairline crack near our living room slide. It may have been there from the beginning...it's so hard to see. The tile has held up surprisingly well.
      (Btw, we've made a warranty claim for that and some other minor things. I debate whether it is worth an extra day or so in the factory shop to fix the tile so we may just live with it).

    We also just purchased the XL 39L. We love it. I bought Windex wipes for the stove top and I used them also for the shower. Worked great!
    Love your shelves for the vanity. Do u have a link for your 3d printer? I need those shelves for the vanity.

      Congrats on your new rig, and thanks for the tip on the Windex Wipes. We will definitely try those!
      Kasie's favorite 3D printer is an Ender 3 (she's owned a more expensive one that prints in 2 colors but this basic entry-level 3D printer is her favorite). ~Lana

    Hey Great video! Quick question… what does the inside look like closed up, we have 6 dogs and 2 cats… we want to know how close everything is and if we will survive 😮 thanks in advance!

    • @ClassCBroads
      @ClassCBroads  Год назад

      There's enough room to walk through the living area, open the refrigerator, and access the bathroom with the rig closed up; however, you cannot walk through the bedroom area (even with the bed tilted up). I don't have any good photos, but if you watch the following video starting around 13:15, I talk about the dogs in the dinette area on travel day and then I pan to the back of the rig. Hopefully that may help you.

    If RVs can be had for 30-ish% off MSRP, then that's quite different than the car market right now! It would be interesting to explore why. I also would find a video comparing buying a car to buying an RV interesting, and/or comparing the cost of living in an RV vs a traditional home. The full sized fridge looks like a win, as well as the tool storage. Do you still have a labeled drawer for your labeler?

    • @ClassCBroads
      @ClassCBroads  2 года назад

      In 2019, we got nearly 40% off MSRP when we bought our Jayco Greyhawk. With pandemic prices, I was surprised that we got above 30%. I think the market has softened since we ordered the rig in January (for June delivery) so the percentage someone can negotiate may be even higher now. Also, I think the profit margins are higher on the more expensive models so the dealers probably have more flexibility on discounts for those models.
      We might do a video on cost in the future when we've been doing this long enough to have good data (there are a ton out there, but watch ours if we do one 😊). The cost really depends on how the RVer lives. We are still sorta in "vacation mode" so we do LOTS of stuff exploring the area, and that cost money. And, for the most part, we always stay at places with hook-ups so that could cost $20-$100/night, depending on location. We aren't saving money, but a lot of folks probably do.
      Of course I have a LABELED shoe box for my LABELER!! Who doesn’t?

      well the msrps are overly inflated, that 30% off is still 20gs more that what you would pay off the lot pre covid

    What License do you need to drive that Big Lady. ?

    • @ClassCBroads
      @ClassCBroads  6 месяцев назад

      That depends on what state you have your license in. Some states require a CDL; some don't.
      Here's a good resource to start.

      We have these short leashes that fit into the seat belts in the dinette. Sophie and Billie are strapped into the dinette with those leashes and their harnesses. Here's a link to those.

      Earl and Earlene are in a kennel underneath the dinette. They can both escape their harnesses so that is why we kennel them.
      Percy (who is blind) doesn't ride well so he sits on my lap.
