This is my absolute favorite floorplan of any RV out there! The North Point 382FLRB is absolutely stunning and the build quality crushes the competition! From the top to bottom, Jayco’s North Point Fifth Wheel uses superior construction and materials to provide safety and security on the road. The Magnum Truss XL6 roof rafter system is the strongest tested roof in the industry and is constructed out of a one-piece seamless roof material with a 20 year warranty. The 5 star handling package featured 17.5-inch "H" rated Uniroyal tires, MORryde rubber pin box, Dexter axles, ABS and tow assist braking system.

Finally, units with decent insulation, in Ohio we can go from days of cold to days of hot in a heartbeat. A decent oven, not an easy bake size; Spring / Fall we get a lot of rainy or windy days or it’s just nicer to cook inside in 95 deg/humid. Real couches you can stretch out on… whaaattt, no uncomfortable theater chairs/child size couch?? Nice sized TV’s, I love sitting up late after a nice day at camp just chilling in front of the TV.
Minimal faults for me, I’d skip the half bath for more floor/counter space in the kitchen maybe space to have my family/friends sit at the island. 2 sinks in the master bath we’d never use, but 1 sink and counter space to get ready at the same time would be awesome, that window in the master bath is pretty nice. Too much white cabinetry, it’s just not practical at camp with being outside, swimming & I do a lot of inside cooking.
Overall, minimal faults for a beautiful well appointed unit! Your video was a pleasure to watch, loved your “calm” (lol) presentation, yet you kept good info coming that was not drug out boring.
PS: You did answer a question we’ve wondered about for when we were looking for a new styled mid price destination model in 2019, why aren’t these new style RVs caught up with the ton of residential ammenities on their 5th wheels??? You commented there are a number of traveling pros (in a lot of other RV vids it’s all of these permanent road tripping families.) companies are serving now. I’d love to see a few of these “features” offered in a manufacturer seasonal destination models. There are markets like us, working older grown kid couples, wanting live seasonally long weekends, even a bit of long work commuting some days because its just pretty at camp, about 8 months a year??? Maybe offer a great insulation package, dual pane windows, a large oven, counter food prep space, adult size couch(es), several pretty cabinets/mounts for TVs & sound system. Hopefully this will happen soon…
Very insightful comments! There are tons of options to deck these Jayco’s out to cater even more towards full-time living. Thank you for explaining what you meant by four sided drawers. I heard you say that in another video and was confused because they all have four sided drawers. Makes sense now, and I see your point.

Wow, on the Propane, Yes I love that! 1 down side is I wish the 5 gallon jug of water was inside the camper; because if I was out camping near spring time and there was a cold snap that jug in the underbelly might freeze. Other than the water jug everything else is wonderful.
The storage compartment is climate controlled! There is a vent on the furnace duct that heats the storage compartment, so your water jug is safe and sound (unless it’s -5° or something 🥶). Thanks! - Jon @ Apache

I absolutely love this unit. But, no closet for hanging clothes. Something I have to figure out. What about shoes and boots? Perhaps underneath in storage?? Love it Jon, otherwise. Leaving in a class A now. Looking into the 5th wheel.😊
I accidentally skipped the closets! There are two cabinets on each side of the window in the bedroom where you can hang clothes. With a Dyson battery-powered vacuum you can. Light weight, easy to store. Whatever gets tracked in can easily be picked up in less than 5 minutes. You can do it!! A must for anyone with floor vents. Not really needed in this unit with the central vac system. But not all units have that.
What Truck can pull this, that you recommend???
GREAT QUESTION! You need at least a newer SRW diesel truck that can handle the 15,000lb dry weight and nearly 3,000lb pin weight of this camper! A diesel DRW will do an outstanding job towing a camper of this weight and length, but as long as you are under payload and your max tow rating, you can tow this with a SRW full ton diesel truck with the correct axle ratio. Pay extra attention when you are calculating what you can tow if you have a newer Ram with the automatic adjustable air ride suspension! That package adds a lot of weight to the truck, which negatively affects your payload. - Jon @ Apache

I'd prefer a u-shaped dinette over the table and chairs. Would that be possible? How about one without the outside kitchen. I'd trade that for more storage.

That is so far there is not much countertop space in the kitchen. Perhaps dump the table and chairs and add another countertop with cabinets underneath that there.
