At age 78, I remember as a kid, actors like Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster, Paul Newman, etc. as the "New Boys", after WWII, who would take over from the 'aging' stars, e.g. Clark Gable, Gary Cooper, Humphrey Bogart. etc. Kirk Douglas' persona exuded virile manliness & good health! His films were always entertaining! Today, nearly all of his 1950's contemporaries are gone & Hollywood seems 'hard pressed' to find competent successors! R.I.P.!
@@rarehistory3416 No. Since Goldy Hawn won an Oscar too. But starring in such great films as "Champion", "Paths of Glory", "Lust for Life" and "Seven Days in May" does.

No, never -- quite the contrary!
He Rapped Natalie Wood 🪵 and It Was Covered Up by Hollywood 👍🙏
"Never substantiated" seems to be the theme for the borderline bad stuff.
Great actor with a legacy of wonderful performances is known and undeniable.
He was awarded only one Oscar for the fact that he has been acting in films for a long time. Is this the sign of a great actor?
