Many 1940s American designers don’t have the same level of documentation and historical preservation as their European counterparts. Fashion history often focuses on the major European houses, and 1940s designers in the United States have not received the same level of critical attention and archival preservation. As a result, many of their contributions have not been as well recorded or remembered in the long term.
It doesn't have to be that way...

Fun fact: Before Lucille Ball went to Hollywood, she briefly modeled clothes for Hattie Carnegie.

❤ I sometimes know the names but not the history. Thank for not doing Chanel for instance so much information on her already.

Dita Von Teese keeping the dream alive. The silhouettes are so gorgeous. Why don't women dress like this? The look drives men crazy. I''m gay and even I am attracted to these looks. SO sexy

Bla Bla: you don’t have much to say! Could, at least take the captions from magazines, and this would be better documented.

Would have been nice if the script had matched the images. Like describing war time fashion, but showing a 1950s image. Also, correct.name pronunciations were also a problem.

Thank you for your comment, but this is not a tutorial video, but an improvisation on the topic)
In addition, not many images are available for execution, which causes difficulties in correlation of text and pictures
But I thank you for your viewing and participation!
I will try to do better!
      Valeria ❤️
