- Hey everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by my channel to check out my salon visit haircut at the Press & Curl Bar in downtown Los Angeles. This year, I loved my bob so much that I decided to do one last cut before starting my grow-out journey in 2022. This time around, I wanted to take time to enjoy my hair and have FUN! I BELIEVE that hair should not only be healthy, but it should be MORE FUN than anything. Thank you, Micha, for giving me the haircut that I wanted and love so much!

I can't wait till black women get to a point where hair doesn't even matter so many other races grow long hair, cut then cut it short and it doesn't mean they're going through a mid-life crisis or any type of trouble it's just hair they want a change but black women are so fixated on the length of their hair that it is sickening. If you want to grow it out do it. Want a bob do it, want a weave or slicked-back ponytail do it. Whatever at the end of the day it's just hair and your hair is a manifestation of you whatever you feel like at the moment do it to your hair. Congratulations Meg on doing what you wanted at this stage in your journey 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.

Yes, length has become an obsession for a lot of women. You should have fun with your hair and do whatever you want with it.
There is nothing wrong with a black women wanting to grow their hair long and its not sickening.There are black women that are cutting their hair short and cropped.. People have a choice no matter what race you are.
Say it!!!! Hair is hair. Why do women of color feel like hair length represents beauty. Hair length is a choice.

This was relaxing to watching self care is important. I recently took out my soft looks. Best protective style for length retention, but I threw my bob wig on. I love a good bob.

Love the use of the warm towel under your plastic cap to really penetrate the hair shaft with conditioner. Will definitely have to try that. Love the new do!!! 😀

Your hair grows back so fast, I don't even think it matters to be personally honest. Besides, when you want length, you do an awesome job achieving it with extensions or with. You're so skilled at being versatile with your hair! I'm always in awe with your skills Megz, do what makes you happy!

The pm tea tree lavender shampoo and conditioner is one of my faves. I'm loving the bob girl!! I've been wearing a bob for the last year and on my last relaxer I decided that I was going to grow it out but it's relaxer time again so we'll see, lol. Your hair is super cute. 💜

I just started using the PM Tea Tree Shampoo due to my dry/itchy scalp. Currently looking for a good conditioner. I've heard about Olaplex but not sure or understand the numbers.

@@sylviajenkins4784 LOL! I love your response to this! I've actually never applied a relaxer to my hair since 2009 so it's highly unlikely that I would do so now, however her hair really is pretty. I'll definitely check out the keracare line! Thanks so much for the suggestion; I usually use Soultanicals or
Mielle which has been pretty good for me thus far
I’m at that point right now! I used to watch megz and babilon Kay before I went natural, 5+ years later and I’m very much over the look now lol. I’ve met my natural hair goals since then and I want to change it up. :)

I’ve been following your channel for YEARS since the beginning of time when I had my first relaxer ! My hair was so damaged that I decided to go natural , I came to RUclips and found out you went natural too !! We BOTH had the same hair and I was super excited !! Then one day I decided to go back relaxed and guess what … YOU WENT BACK TO THE RELAXER TOO and I was like yessss yessss we’re really going on this hair journey together , I get to see my hair grow as long as my favorite RUclipsr did !! Like it was lit for me !! It was like having an accountability buddy and our hair was the SAME EXACT LENGTH !! When you cut your hair the first time I actually cut my hair too , it was the weirdest thing ever but I was excited over all …………. Now I see you went and did this ….. and I want to know why ????????????? I was rooting for you and ME !! We were supposed to be bra strap length by summer 2022 together ?!?!?! You coulda got a wig if you wanted this short look !! I get you wanted the sides to be as thick as the front (I had thin sides too) but with gentle care, minimal manipulation and trims it would’ve gotten there !! Now in your new videos your wearing extensions and further manipulating your hair like NOOOOOOOOOOOOO no no no no nooo !!! And sis cut wayyy too much of your hair off !!
