The first time you shared ADJUST YOUR SAILS, I resisted getting it for myself. But this time I could not resist. So I have ordered the pattern and called-for threads, as well as blue fabric, for I agreed with you about that. Looking forward to future videos.
I love that antique looking blue frame....I too have been fighting with my eyes, they have changed so quickly the last couple years and I keep needing a stronger reading area, I just can't seem to get comfortable with my glasses and so I've switched to crocheting for a while and set the cross stitches aside for a bit. It is definitely not fun getting older.
Like you, I have a variety of magnifiers as my eyes have aged and I need to increase magnification when my eyes are tired. The table next to my stitching spot has four different on it as we speak (specific prescription glasses, visor with replaceable lenses, clip on magnifier and non-prescription readers. Love seeing your stitching progress!
Love the Cardinals, it’s going to be beautiful. I think your piece is going to look really good in that blue frame when you get it finished. Hearing some of the FlossTubers you like I would like to suggest the Bougie Stitchers to you, I think you would enjoy them.😀
Just got caught up on your last 2 videos. Glad to hear Felicia is doing okay; I saw her in the mirrored cabinet behind you in the last video. She is a cutie! I thought I recognized that quilt on your chair last time as a Bonnie Hunter one, I think it looks like Good Fortune? I didn't do that one, and regretted it after - so have fabric ready, just need the time! Have you seen the Craftoptics glasses Bonnie has shown a few times? They are my dream... But at over $800, I'm afraid to get them and be disappointed. Fantastic sewing machine repair in Penn Yan, if you need it. Looking forward to your next video. Hope you have a good weekend.
So good to see you today! Sorry your eyes have been giving you more trouble but you still managed to get a lot of stitching done. I just love the birth sampler you are working on. Take care of yourself. Looking forward to your next video!
I wear mag eyes also. A saver. I have my deceased husband’s golf shirts. I wanted to make quilts with them. He has been gone 4.5 years but it’s not time yet to open that box. I’m sure you can relate…
I admire your tenacity in finding lights and magnifiers that help you work through your eye issues. I hope they can get the medicine figured out so you have more "good" eye days than bad! Your parade of elephants is turning out so cute! Take care and hope you have some good stitching days.
Just wanted to check and see if everything is okay. I've missed seeing your smiling face on flosstube. I hope you and your pup are doing well and having a lovely spring.
Hi there, hope all is going well! Just wanted to update you on my Adjust Your Sails SAL…I have been sending you photos of my progress via your IG acct. I can’t ever get french knots right, so I was creative and used beads to jazz it up a bit! Hope yours is coming along nicely too! Can’t wait to see your progress on the next video! ~Kim
Just checking in to make sure you are well. It's been a while and I look often hoping to see an update from you. I know life can get in the way but wanted you to know I am thinking of you. I hope you are getting much stitching done!
I am so sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I am good. Just been very busy painting inside of my house. I do plan to put a floss tube up and then a few days so keep a lookout!

Love that idea for cutting those shirts up in strips and 5" squares. How about a fabulous purple backing....then she would totally love both sides. 🙂
