Your doing great Grandma Nan. Nice to listen to someone showing their things who is closer to my age. Glad you are going to join in a group of stitchers in your area. No replies needed here. Use that time for stitching! Welcome to the community of stitchers.

Hi Linda. I really enjoy your videos. Lots of stitchy goodness. I can relate to all the things you mentioned. I too am a widow of five years and have lived all the bumps you spoke of. Keep stitching and I’ll catch you on the next floss tube. Hugs.

I see you got the curtain up in your craft room. Such a pretty yarn....love that purple variegated color. I have always been afraid to cut my fabric. I bunch it up and use small magnetic bungees to hold the fabric in my hoop or Q snap. I hope you can make a lot of friends in the stitchy group you were invited too. Elephants on Parade is looking really good. You got a lot done on your WIPs. I really like the llama fabric. I need to get the Time to Stitch pattern....it fits me. Good luck making all those dishcloths Those are beautiful table runners. Your daughter will love that quilt. . Such an amazing video. I truly enjoyed it all.

I really enjoy your videos and seeing the progress you are making on your cross stitching and quilting. I mainly cross stitch but have all sorts of projects going from sewing and quilting to needlepoint and cross stitch. I have lots of yarn but have not crocheted much lately. The last thing I crocheted was some trim for a small, cross-stitched pillow. I crocheted the trim from Perle cotton (I sometimes crochet trim for the same reason I make twisted cord...so I can match the floss colors)! Stay warm and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Crazy Sock Lady is how I learned to knit socks. Years ago I took an in person sock class and was so frustrated that I never did learn how to knit them then. I think she used German short rows for the heels or something. Made absolutely no sense to me. I like to quilt also along with Cross Stitching, EPP, paper crafting, etc, etc, etc. 😂 Thanks for sharing your time. 😊

I had to laugh at picturing you keeping Felicia (that’s her name?) relaxed for 10 minutes in the sink. I know how Charlie, my Shih Tzu, would be…a wiggle worm! You’re making progress on your wips! Love the fabrics you got for the bags or portfolios. Also love the bee keeper quilt for your daughter. I have done small appliqué things but never a quilt. It intimidates me🤷🏼‍♀️. I relate to you putting things in a really good, safe place. I never remember either. I found that I need to always put things back in the same place even if that place doesn’t make sense. I wish there was a needlework shop near me. I’m in Oklahoma City and the closest shop, The Silver Needle, is in Tulsa. 1 1/2 hours away. Needless to say most of my shopping is online or Hobby Lobby. Have a great weekend!

Hello from Northcoast British Columbia, Canada. I love cross stitching and have a ton of patterns but I've only done smaller things so far as I find I can't concentrate on one thing for too long. I'm also a quilter. I'm just learning tunisian crochet. I have been knitting since my Mom taught me at 4 years old, it is my passion. I absolutely love your sweater that you are wearing and would love to know what the pattern is....I find it very relaxing to watch your flosstube video's, it reminds me of being with my Mom even though you and I are probably about the same age. I would like it if you had your camera positioned so you are in the middle of the screen instead of the bottom....keep on making them though :)

I just love your videos and look forward to watching them. I have so many projects to work on but know that I will get them done some time. I sew, quilt and cross stitch too. I started watching Floss tube ( your video was the first one) and have ordered some cross stitch patterns and hope to make one out of linen. I’ve never done a linen one, always on Aida cloth. Looking forward to more videos and seeing your projects and listening about your family and dog.

Thanks for your video! It's so nice that you have a daughter that stitches too. Glad your other daughter is coming for a visit too. Teaching her to knit will be fun. Let us know how you like working with that scrubby yarn, it sounds like a good dishcloth yarn. Might get some myself if you like it. Take care.

Enjoyed the video! Loved the gray and yellow table runner! I want to learn to quilt but I am definitely not a perfectionist (which in my mind quilting cuts must be lol). My grandmother was a quilter-applique quilting to be exact! I have the strawberry quilt she made for me-and its a treasured possession. I am also teaching myself to crochet (my other grandmother was a crocheter-though she quilted also lol). Like you I am very diverse in my crafting. Sooo many projects lol-and I keep finding more!
