That copper volcano: vacuum out the room, snake some rails through and splash it in 4t of water. One steam turbine will be enough to cool that down, aswell as the copper. Guessing @Brothgar wanted to try something with the new features of the dlc, if so, this is for anyone else wondering how to tame copper (same design for gold) volcano.
Hey, the latest update give you the posibility to send your dupe to the closest planet if you are out of fuel. They add a small Ship inside the rocket, for emergency. So they dont face an ugly dead 😂
Here is the text from the updates notes: Stranded rockets can now be evacuated using the “ABANDON SHIP” sequence. This will cause the rocket to explode. Any Duplicants on board will be launched towards the nearest discovered asteroid in a high speed Escape Pod. Some of the resources aboard will follow in the form of Spacecraft Debris.
the robot is on the same calculation thread as the critters. If you put the robot next to some critters, you can see that they move in the same time frame. So if you have less critters the robot will work better.
I bet that the rover is slow because it is classified as a critter. Therefore, its AI has to wait for its turn. With all the shine bugs, that's a problem. You could pause until it chooses a course of action and it would go a lot faster in-game time. Or murder the shine bug reactor.
I get that they dont want the robots to be OP, even though they can barely build anything and should be equivalent to a dupe with 0 stats, but the doing nothing for 90% of its life is really a joke, like does Klei expect you to sit in orbit for 12 cycles with a dupe (cause we dont have autonomous rockets yet) to watch a robot do what it should do in 1.
Dupes crying produce 3 GALLONS of water!? Holy hell that's a lot of tears! Brothgar, I've had VERY similar experience with the rovers. They are VERY broken right now and move at the speed of molasses. It's a crippling bug!
@@brothgar its ok brothgar, you are doing amazing even if slowly, that's what makes your channel special you build cool stuff even if its a bit strange, don't let the slow game steal the fun to much, we are here for you, at least that's what i think, have a happy day.
During the "Operation: Rescue Lerda" I was thinking what music would fit this?🤔. Then *Battle of Hoth* or *Interstellar* or *Last Dying Breath by Sabaton*
Hey Brothgar, I decided to -steal- try out your liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen building and it works great for cooling them into liquids, BUT, a single electrolyzer produces so little of each element that it's painful. I went ahead and built three more electrolyzers in another building, used 2 pumps for hydrogen, 2 pumps for oxygen, and another 2 to remove excess oxygen so the electrolyzers didn't get max pressured, and I wound up producing a ton of liquid oxygen extremely quickly, while the liquid hydrogen production became bearable.
Couldn't you store stuff like dirt for the toilet on ships with a conveyor that you preload with a loader and then disassemble the loader for space. Anytime you need to get resources out you disassemble the conveyor holding it. It holds all your materials in the back ground so you can fit more in the foreground.
@@brothgar Well, There is a more compact method, And it's very simple to pull off. All you need to do is make a small box (needs to be airflow tiles) with an interior of 2 x 1 and then put the nuclear waste + another liquid that is "lighter" than it. You can then put a liquid vent where the "lighter" liquid is. This will allow you to easily compress nuclear waste. (Design is also on Discord)
It's a little odd that they have helium in the game but have yet to implement it, and they have the audacity too have things named helium clouds but they don't even have helium.
To be fair to the bot, it is hooked up the mother brain that is your computer, which is currently occupied by all the other calculations it has to do (i.e. the rest of the game and your recording software, and maybe a video rendering)
I'm glad you saved Lurda, she's been MVP the entire run-through. Was worth the mission.

Oh nice, good to know.
Wait, whaaaaaat!?
I get this update informations from a french oni player

I loved the rescue mission 👏

Oh my! Meep saved the day! Great episode!
In space, no-one can see Lerda "reveal everything" 0:23 - good job too

You should set up some emergency landing platforms on a few of the different planets just in case a dupe runs out of fuel.

berry sludge makes excellent astronaut food.
The mod Wrangle Flyers is amazing.
The planet that has the experimental tree has a few tungsten volcanoes…hopefully better luck with taming those…
That rover would make me alt+f4 honestly.
Somehow you did a remake of Martian, but with a twist, it's not Mars!
Save mission, successful!
Low Resolution might help with the lag. It helped my potato
All of my Meeps are destructive.
Feed me, Seymour!
26:00 You should have build the metal tile in gold it has very good radiation passing through proprieties :)
you can tell the series is still going well because the gameplay is choppy, even at the start
Yeah :( Map too big.

12 kg of tears

Interesting idea. I'll give it a try.
how do you plan to refuel the nuclear rocket on the new planetoid?
At the end of the video, is that a space base?
I'm not telling ;)
hay you cold make a carbone filter fot ships so the oxygen will never run out well to theres no power
The rover registers task really slow late game with max speed
So after play this version of the game.
How is it Brothgar. Is there thing need change?
I'm at a game stage where I want to get niobium. Plz make a video cooling down the hot planet!
Was the robot glitched or did they nerf it?
I see the chip shortage has affected your rover
Do you have a video on how to make the compressor?
I think there is one out there, but the automation is buffer, filter buffer, filter, not. You can add an and gate to disable it.
Who's going to tell him about the easier and more compact method of compressing nuclear waste?
I guess you are it.

So does that mean my dupes are not hooked up to the mother brain? O_o
@@brothgar If their lack of self preservation is any indication, perhaps not.
too good in this game
try some dst
Why did you make your steam turbines in the liquid o2/h2 area out of steel? Even lead could survive there.
