Nail-biting close rescues? Ridiculous plumbing systems? Lerta with inane stress levels? Meep ranching floating gas bags meteroring in from the skies? This can only be another ONI update from Brothgar. Entertaining as always. Best of luck and see you next time.
Roger was doing so good! He made me feel so bad for him crying like that. A not so tough guy in a very tough place! And he made it out! So proud of him. The cry when he got back on the spaceship to home was a happy one.
You should pressurze that storage thing, and do it at a high enough pressure that nothing off-gasses. The gas put in could be temp-managed. And, the dupes wear exo-suites to protect against the pressure. Or, have seperate sections, one for things that have extremley high temps (With a vacume-water lock), and one with everything else. Since (I think) most of the stuff that off-gasses is the regular-temp stuff, have that pressurized and the rest not. Then, that airlock at the outside also leads to the rockets! Also, jetsuits? (I put this on the 24’th video, where it made more sense. Not sure if you did anything like this yet, since I am watching in order, I just put this here before I forgot. I put it here as well since I figured you are more likley to see it here)
Keep learning, it's important, learn everything! Push forward always! But... your excretion of words is fantastically exhilarating! I want more of your videos.
I was just looking at my subscriptions yesterday and thinking how long it has been. Glad for the update, good luck with your goals! Thanks for the video!
Hey, no worries about uploads being a little more scarce. Wish you the best with whatever's going on in your life :)) I'm writing this having just heard you say this stuff (5-ish minutes in), so maybe I sound dumb idk-- ^^"
You can shut off building while landed or by automation signal with the navigation console. They'll still refill things, but won't take it out or use facilities. You can connect a not gate to a space grid sensor thing to disable everything when it's landed at home.
I believe the Lush plant mutation makes it so plants need darkness. If you manage to get it on gass grass you wouldnt have to deal with lighting the plants Also, an animal drop off point in the rocket would make it so you can take gassy moos with you I think Edit: the mutation name is Exuberant, it indeed does make them need darkness, while also making them need more fertilizer, grow faster , produce 4000g of rot pile as a side product and its product will have food posioning, which wouldnt be a problem with gass grass as you are not meant to eat it. Overall seems like the optimal mutation for gass grass
I forgot to add that it indeed does make them need darkness, edited it and the heart is gone I hope Brothgar doesnt use them to keep track of interesting comments or I screwed up
Ok dupes today we are going to review "Easy things made hard". Are you holding something? Drop it down the nearest pit. Have some critical work you need to get done? Take a nap on the job. And finally, never forget to build yourself into a wall.
Can't you install a critter drop-off inside the command module of a rocket and drop the tamed gassy moos? I don't think it would be very viable to transport them to the main asteroid as they don't reproduce but just to see if it works.
Great video. hope you can manage all the RL stuff and soon provide us some more entertainment :) On that not, have you seen Timberborn? Great new game im sure you will like it
Also speed running graduate school. Learning new skills is always great but my brain feels spent trying to shove so much into it while still working my regular job and striving to maintain a social life. Felt easier decades ago when there were less responsibilities. Good luck on your job hunt! Do your building schemas in ONI transfer to "logic-based problem-solving" skill on your resumes?
@@brothgar Don't forget proficient in "team-building exercises" (in that, if the duplicants don't build it fast enough, the whole team may die in space).
Also gassy moos can eat harvested gas grass so you don't need to leave them inside making natural gas to block the light. once the gas grass has fully grown a dupe can harvest it for the harvested gas grass.
Why in the world would someone as smart as you want to make someone else all the money working on their dreams? My advice to you is to work for yourself. You are smart and methodical enough to VERY successful at anything you decide. Good luck!
Wild critters mostly live on their own without starving and also the gassy moos are renewed by falling from the sky in gassy mooteors, so there is not reproduction outside of them landing in the planetoid.
Why dont you play other series like empyrion or other engineering type games your so good are seeing the possibilities and getting max cheese not saying i dont like the content you do now you just dont seem to touch 3d engineering games
A small, but important change in the recent patches:
"Rockets now burn one hex worth of fuel when taking off and landing."
No more free energy :(
NOOOOOOOOOO
@@brothgar Power it with excess carbon dioxide. Basically free, just costs an air pump.
@@Ed-wu8jn rocket chimney and steam engine surely
@@arucane8635 That'd work too.

You actually can shoot the orbital cargo launchers through tiles, at least natural tiles. I've seen Francis John do it.
I think its no longer possible. I tried to build one and it said it needed clear view to the space.:/
@15:00 you should set your rocket to 'grounded' when you are working on it, so the dupes don't use the mess table, fridge and toilet.

Finally another amazing video!
For a second there instead of suffocating I read "suffering" wich, in fairness, Roger was actually suffering a bit there
I forgot I was missing something in my life
I must concur. I too, would feel grate honor using a space-vacuum powered flushymatron in order to "unload".
This episode should have been titled "Saving Private Roger"

I miss you brother

Thanks for this!! I've missed you, but good luck in all the things you are striving for!
Hey I was thinking about you yesterday. I hope all these learnings help you!
glad to have you back friendo!
Nice video! I hope the job search goes well for you, Brothgar!
The giggling!
Those Gassy Moos are amazing, I'm just gonna crash into that one planet there.
Ayo this amazing game love watching these vids
Hope you find something you enjoy, @Brothgar, and good luck in your endeavors 😁
If you click in the pilot seat, it gives you the option to disable building while the rocket is on the ground
Love your videos

Damn, kinda miss this series. But you do you. Hopefully one day you'll come back to it
Bro Roger is got damn traumatized
Is this series over or on hiatus? And if it's on hiatus, will it be indefinite?
Poor traumatized Rodger
My new favorite critter: Gassy Moo... Reason: farting 29:20 47:37
Also their "birthing"
nice pixel art
Thanks
I work in life stock with cattle
THERE IS NO OTHER MOO THAN GASSY MOO... MOO = GASSY any time you flip the coin
why dont you use the grounded setting on the rocket control thingy?
wish you luck for your career
We do these things not because they are easy but because they are hard.
That's the mantra of ONI.

Congrats on the life change :) I hope it was a personal choice and not an imposed one.

What kind of job are you looking for?
Liquid chlorine is not a sterile environment for food.
Damn I rally cant watch Dups cry, its just the saddest thing. Your dupes are really trying their best, you should take better care of them :-p
Set rocket interior building restrictions to graunded to prevent them using it

how have those moos on the moo planet been surviving? it didn't look like there was much grass on the surface
I don't think they starve as they are wild.
Wild critters mostly live on their own without starving and also the gassy moos are renewed by falling from the sky in gassy mooteors, so there is not reproduction outside of them landing in the planetoid.
are you trying to do things the hardest way possible bro ?
