Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I’m a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

Most deployment doctrine for runway denial weapons involve dropping at an angle to the path of the runway, with different strike aircraft dropping on different vectors to ensure a criss-cross pattern of craters all across the runways and aprons. It's what the French did at Ouadi Doum with their BAP-100 strike
Interesting! Makes sense, especially if they have a wide runway you probably don't want a nice clean line down the center if it's going to leave them a usable strip along the left or right edge.
@@wraith444that’s not the reason (the runway would be completely screwed, there’d be no taking off from it).
It’s to do with the fact that attacking along the length of the runway would be *extremely* predictable for air defences.
@@mumblerinc.6660 Fair point. Evidently my head is still firmly lodged in a DCS-ism lol
@wraith444 it's also the point that if you mess up the approach all munitions might miss. Angular approach ensure some of the munitions will cover the width of the runway. Simultaneously attacking from multiple vectors also splits air defense focus. Which you need because keeping straight and level over an enemy airfield is bad for your health.
You do very good tutorials! Hope to see more
the side on view was mint! very cool vid buddy thank you
Awesome! Thanks for the tutorial 😀
A well-produced, edited and executed instructional video. Short and to the point. Love your intros.
Much appreciated!
Absolutely beautiful module
Gusto! Very clear, love it.
Thank you Tricker. Going to try it myself. The mirage is a beauty and great fun to fly. And she is so easy to aar so that you can drink wine while doing it
God the mirage 2000 is such a beautiful aircraft. Hope we get the EUROFIGHTER before I turn 30
Hopefully soon, would be an amazing aircraft to learn
I learned something today. About a runway destruction weapon that is not the one on the Tornado. ;-)
This looked cool man, thanks for sharing.
I'm a fan of this stuff, but i've not put too much time into DCS (yet). It's all about time unfortunately, i wish humans only need around 2 hours sleep.
But then again, we would probably have to work 11 hours a day as well.
I just love home many you get on the mirage!
we need more M-2000 content. this bird is underrated
Good stuff! Always helpful content, even if it is a Fronch Jet! Thank you for this!
🇫🇷
0:11 because it's freaking cool!
Production value 👌
i like how i googled, stereotypical French music, and the 1st result was the music you used at 1:55
Hey I’ve never been to France yet lol, don’t hate 🇫🇷
@@TrickerDCSWelp at least you've got a french viewer here 😂 Thank you for the amazing tutorial! Not like i ever got to use these bombs yet though-
This was a really cool video and isnpired me to try runway bombing too in the mirage as i'd never tried. i did it on a PVE multiplayer server and basically went for a deep strike at an airfield behind the frontline. flew low and fast and reached the airfield but right in the middle of the release, halfway down the runway, i took a Manpad missile to the face lol. dissapointed but also proud i made it this far. i suppose i should have flown lower lol
Hey atleast you tried and learned
@@TrickerDCS indeed i did. definitely trying again with the goal of not getting blown up next time 🤞
Hi always loved the French lady.Enjoy her as much you can as from the next pach you may not 😅
Sorry, not understanding something here RE the bomblet spacing. 140 Metres between each bomb impact ? that would be just over 459 foot. Is there some error in converting units here ?
Would you not just take the length of the runway then divide by 18 to get your release timings at the allocated speed 500-550kts ?
Thanks, for posting the lesson though.
Yah the runway was 2400 meters so I divided that by 18 which comes to 133 meters. I rounded up to 14 for 140 meters to ensure I covered the whole runway
@@TrickerDCS Excellent, thank you for your response which has cleared everything up now for me, my mistake on not hearing the Runway length correctly when I watched video, which was throwing me.
Yoo nice job amazing video Tricker
Thank you! 🫡
Nice. Mirage is my fav in dcs due to the fact that it has just enough complexity to be interesting without overwhelming you. Plus it's just fun to fly. Have you noticed any issues deploying ccip? I'm having trouble getting the initial point correct even with all the parameters checked.
So far with the testing I’ve done it’s been pretty accurate in ccip
Awesome video, do you have a full list of Mirage Tutorials
So far just startup, takeoff, and landing. I’ll be doing more though, love this plane
Marianas is so underrated
Yah it is, just runs like Poo for some people
heyyy, i saw you on contention earlier today
I was there!
The issue for me is: “how do I fly low over an airfield maintaining a steady heading, altitude and speed without getting killed. I suppose that was also the problem with these systems in real life (see Tornado GR1 strikes in Desert Storm)
It’s tough by doable… takes practice
Next show us BAP employment with the MB-339!!!
I don’t have that module 😂
@@TrickerDCS ooh I know someone who does.
Nice vid on how to but was that an abandoned airfield
Well I made sure it stayed abandoned
Bap bap chicken-wrap
la baguette
Hehe... "Bap"
you can't runway bomb in a m2000 in war thunder there for clearly dcs is the superior simulator plus it doesn't even have micro transactions if you were unaware
have you ever tried rockeyes? they are the best totally OP in DCS
