so young in this age. He still have chance for developing what he want , rather start again in office job or change other field. 5-10 years is able to be a manager in the future. To have a degree or not, depends on the work nature, if it have advanced level, he should be prepared to study after find a career job. That's my experience, I'm 44 years old working in office without degree.

如果要急搵工，不如去 VTC 讀技能課程，文職要讀 degree 難度好大，有好多人讀 open u 都讀唔上退學，反而你讀電燈、水喉、冷氣、燒焊中工、機械維修學徒，容易上手，30 歲還很年輕。

好視乎年齡層，就算有學位，40+都比較難。
冇學位，20-30都容易搵到如果有相關工作經驗。
其實宜家有好多學位都是得個擺字，現在讀一個degree都要20萬up，還要讀3,4年時間，讀完出來也唔代表3,4年後的實際環境吃香。
我認為,學返一門手藝，藍領工作，或者會更佳。因為即使你讀了個學位，但如果英文不好，又冇其他特長，其實都是形同虛設。

@@梁小小-u1n 讀學位不用 20 萬，你預 12 萬以下。當你工作有一定年資，無論藍領、白領，商科、理科、文科，好自然會去讀個學位，因為有工作經驗加持，比少年時代讀書容易一些。
@@kachunwong8184 現在大學都已經由3年轉成4年，以前3年大學的時候，都已經要45000元左右一年，雖然我不知道parttime degree要幾多錢，但如果每星期讀的時間不夠，parttime的period就要拉得更長，12萬可以買一個學位返來這個數，可能真是80年代先可以做到。
@@kachunwong8184 唔一定，讀書有2種情況會比較容易一d，一就係有incentive force，例如宜家老闆要升你職，麻煩你在職其間讀返個學位，讀緊的都可以，咁有了等價交換，自然會有心機和機心去讀。但如果只是為了擺脫這一份工而走轉另一個工作圈去讀的話，可能只會事倍功半。
第二種情況就係愈後生後讀會愈容易，因為後生時間可以做職業兒子，那幾年還可以靠黏著屋企過活，況且將來有大把時間可以浪。在職了就不同了，又要養家，又要養自己，仲要自己承擔返自己的學費，經濟壓力再加工作壓力，然後再在工餘時間花上幾年（應該最少都要4年以上，如果白紙一張的話）來學，幾年的時間唔容易過，真是大有信心和能力和外在條件可以走足全程？
