That D8 , with a blade, can be hauled on 7 axles in GA.
The permit to pull this thing down the street probably cost more than the 55 ton trailer that you needed to move it.
That is a great setup. This setup will always require an escort. What is this trailer rated for in tons. The bull dozer is lightweight for that trailer.
It's rated for 170,000 lbs.
All that for a D8T without the blade!? Lol
I think it's WAY,WAY overkill on the trailer just for a D8 you could have used a 55 ton rig for that

@@jerrykinnin7941 It was just short load they had when picking up the Trailer. That Trailer setup is able to carry 170,000lbs (85 tons). It wasn’t meant to show the carrying capacity.

@@asherdie They're prone to bad rust and air/electrical problems
@@604cuinkillah could see the rust problem in road salt areas. The bare minimum paint is used. Have not experienced any other problems. But I'm blessed to live deep south.
The paint is never good. It may look good but it’s not. I suppose, maybe, a person could require a better paint job.
The biggest problem is that the metal is never cleaned properly; each piece should be dipped in an acid bath, then a couple/three coats of primer, then at least three coats of paint. Those things will never happen at a welding facility; it’s just not their top priority.
3 years later, when the paint is a disaster, a new paint job will be $25K minimum.
The paint is a very real problem.
