On "My Car Story" we're in the West Suburbs of Chicago IL on 9-29-22.
We're looking at a 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe in Yellow Paint. The car comes with a 350 CI V8 engine, and automatic transmission.
The car's Owner is John Archacki. John’s had this car since 2015. He shares he likes the movie American Graffiti and saw this car and thought it would be a nice American tribute car to add to his collection.
ENJOY! Авто/Мото
Hi, If you like this video, please click on SUPER THANKS ❤ with the $ in the middle which is the SUPER THANKS button under the video. Thank you! Lou
Nice car for sure. Been very hectic here on the South Carolina Coast this week. Saw the ballon from our front porch, saw it shot down, then watched the recovery from the beach. History in the making...
Let's Go Brandon!
Hi Keep America 2A Strong, Happy to read you enjoy this car :-) Interesting times, Lou
Hey, Lou! Been following your videos for a while! Great job you do! On this Milner tribute car, which powerplant is used? Couldn't tell exactly what it looked like. Love those pipes! Looked like a Nailhead
@@rickovermann8433it’s a 350 Chevy Small block engine.
Another beautiful car Lou, always loved the Milner's 32 Ford Coupe and Falfa's 55 Chevy and Toad/Steve's 58 Chevy Impala.
Hi PlymouthDuster225, Happy to read you enjoy the cars from the movie :-) Lou
" The front end of this thing you're driving looks a little low" Great Tribute 5 Window ! Thanks for posting Lou !
Hi Rudy, Thanks for sharing what you notice. You're welcome, Lou
Its a line from American Graffiti.. lol.
"American Graffiti" is one of my favorite movies. The 1932 Ford 5 Window coupe looks totally credible to the one featured in the movie. The original coupe was equipped with a 283 engine rather than a 350. It does sound healthy and roars like a lion with those side pipes. The power trunk lid, and the power windows are an interesting feature. That record album you featured in the Trunk 'n Treats brings back a lot of great memories. My aunt had that exact same soundtrack album, and my cousin and i wore it out. It has some awesome music on it. Thanks for the memories Lou!
It's got the wrong intake too.... supposed to be a 4x2 intake...
Hi Michael, Happy to read you enjoy this movie and glad the music was fun listening for your family :-) Lou
The Milner coupe actually had a 327!
Uh, no, 327.
Saludos cordiales, Lou!
Hi Jaime, You share great details on what you see. Fun to read your comments. Happy to read you enjoy this car :-) Lou
Great car and owner. Thank Lou
Hi acts2210, Happy to share this one with you :-) You're welcome, Lou
Great car & my all time favorite movie
Hi Brian, Happy to read you enjoy this car from your all time favorite movie :-) Lou
American Graffiti was such a great movie. I watched it recently after being recommended it by an older gentleman who practically lived through the same experiences in the 70s as a young man himself. As somebody barely out of my teens, I definitely feel an affinity with the movie as well because some of it's really what my friends and I try to do half the time ourselves, at least with the cars.
If I see that gentleman again I am gonna try to convince him to try and come on your video series. He has this rare, wonderful Chrysler Newport convertible that he carefully repaired over decades. The story about how he got and restored that car is incredible.
Hi Crazycar 401, Happy to read you enjoy the movie :-) Me too. Stay tuned, we'll see if he shows up in a future episode, Lou
Lou, thanks for tracking down another important piece of graffiti! The THX 138 license plate on the Milner car from the American Graffiti move came from George Lucas's first movie titled THX 1138, a sci-fi film starring Robert Duval.
Gary, Thank you for sharing that movie trivia, Lou
Very cool!!!!! 👍👍
Happy to read "Very cool!!!!!" :-)
THANKS LOU FOR SHARING THIS WITH MY MORNING COFFEE ☕️

Hi Rick, Happy to share the one you wanted :-) Lou
Great movie, and car 😎
I agree :-)
Yeah Lou, One of my favorite movies AND favorite cars. John Milner was so cool going up against Bob Falfa. VERY well written and 'All Summer Long' is one of my favorite Beach Boys songs! Is Steve's '58 Chevy next brother??
Yeah lonnyjaw, a fun movie for sure :-) That would be a good one.....and look it's right hear, Lou ruclips.net/video/PbngMNKSy7c/видео.html
Very cool! Supposedly the original car is here in my area. We of course have a handful of tributes around but only the one is rumored to be the original.
Happy to read KD's boosted the real deal is close to you :-) Hope you see it on the streets soon.
"Took the header plugs off, huh? Expecting some action?"
You never know.....
@@loucostabile "Hey, there's a VERY wicked '55 Chevy lookin' for you!!" Paradise Road it is. 😎
My name is John Milner and I approve this message.👌
Thank you.
You guys didn't see any wicked black 55 Chevys out there did ya? That would have been epic!
HI Richard, Haven't seen that one yet :-) Lou
Nice!! Loved the video!! Now ya gotta find a black '55 with a flip front end!!
Hi Vincent, I'll see what I can do. Stay tuned, Lou
7:47 still see "Johns" arm hangin out the window.
:-)
Great looking car!! ! have one as well in the western suburbs of Chicago. Would be cool to get together one day.
Hi William, I see yours and Bubba's Hot Rod too. NICE! If you see me at a car show make sure to say hello, Lou
Milner had a Man-A-Fre intake if I recall right. May be hard to come by now although I'm sure they turn up for sale on eBay and elsewhere.
Thank you for sharing what you remember and noticed.
👍👍👍
Nice :-)
I’ve also got the vinyl album.
Nice !
Not bad, the only thing that disappointed me was that your tribute car has an automatic transmission.
Hi Charles, Soooo close :-) Lou
"Rock and roll's been going down hill ever since Buddy Holly died."
:-)
Pretty close to John Milners for sure. A fun movie, I was just getting my license & had my first crush. One question Lou,how did time pass so fast? These old hot rods were a big slice of pure Americana!
Hi Richard, You're right, time is passing.....however when you get in these cars and take them for a spin you get a change to go back to those memories of our youth :-) Lou
MR LOUUU
MR CHONNN
👍🔥😍🔥👍
Hi Carl, Happy to see you enjoy this car :-) Lou
Very nice car not quite there with the engine and induction on it.
The original engine was a 327 with 4 Rochester 2 G Carbs.
Hi JonH3234, Thanks for sharing what you notice, Lou
Best stars of American Graffiti:
Suzanne Somers & her '55 T-Bird.
Wolfman Jack.... but what would the Wolfman drive?
VW **Fox**?
Stutz **Bearcat**?
**Greyhound** bus?

Hi Dan, Thanks for sharing, Lou
always loved the coupe and the 55 in the movie, does anyone know if the original car still exists?
I know the 55 is still around. That was the same 55 used in Two Lane Blacktop as well. And I know the white 58 Chevy was found a few years ago and is still in good original condition. You can search videos on those on RUclips. They're worth a peek.
@@jonathanpasch6604 really?... doesnt look like the same 55 ... im pretty sure at least one of the 2 55s from tlbt are around ( they used 2 i guess)
@@martinedwards4522 I think they modified it between films but it is the same car. The studio had all the history of it.
@@jonathanpasch6604 thanks
Hi Martin, I'm not sure, however I see others might have info to share. Lou
6 2-barrel Intake would make the car.
That would be a nice addition.
Did he have a glove box full of tickets like Milner?
Hmmm, I did not check.....
I have the Motor Max toy, Mel's diner with this car... Too much
Nice :-)
Wasn't Milner's car a 4-speed?.........Sorry Lou, you know my love for stirring a gearbox.....nice car all the same.
Hmmm, I'm not sure. Hoping a Viewer can confirm. Happy to read you appreciate this "nice car" thelaststraw :-)
No Milner coupe is correct without the 4X2 Man A Free intake system....
Hi Gods own Drunk, Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
What.motor? 327?
350
That car isn't even close to milners coupe it's a nice car, but so much is missing and .wrong .
Hi John Milner, Well you'd be the correct person to know :-)
