They need to add limbs and stuff actually being blown off like in day of infamy. That would turn sniper elite from an amazing game into an outstanding game.
I love playing this, with the stealth, sneaking and messing with enemies, it's easy to play it like a prequel to Metal Gear Solid and that's exactly how I play it

There have to be really special circumstances for you not to die from that. Bullets don't just break bones, they send deadly shockwaves of force throughout the body. A jawshot would be like getting slammed in the head, your eyes might pop out, you'd rupture a lot of blood vessels, and you would have a severe brain concussion. Also the testicle shot would kill you, there are major arteries in that area for erections and leg/foot functions. You would loose a lot of blood really quickly and your colon might rupture and spill into your other innards resulting in severe infection. Maybe a lower shoulder or sideshot on the ribs/frontal-lower jaw could serve as a painful distraction.

I mostly study animals. not only that my major is really just writing, and I write fiction. so i know next to nothing about human physiology, mostly basic stuff and minor medical treatments if you like get a sprain or something. unless my highschool courses were wrong XD

IMO, the best part of this killcam is that at some time someone from the development team must've stood up and said: "I know: we need a killcam that that not only shows the exact trajectory of the bullet from the player to the enemy, but also shows in great detail the damage that the bullet does to the enemy's body, by using a slow-motion x-ray-like view of the enemy that shows a detailed view of the enemy's organs and skeleton and where we see the bullet doing realistic and detailed damage to whatever body part it goes thru". ...And I don't know if I have to be in awe or disturbed by this! 😂
I’ve went back to this game while in lockdown and it’s one of the best games I’ve played. And for some reason killing people with the pistols are so satisfying 😂
For those who struggle with all the weapon upgrades, i figured out a way to do this easy and fast. like when you need to shoot 50 headshots, don't go do a whole mission, that will take forever. Instead of that just take your aim on an easy headshot, save your game, shoot him and restart checkpoint. The shot still counts as you can reshoot him in the head. again and again and again...ect. You can do this with an easy distance shot, or penetrative shot or an explosive shot, all the challenges for those weapon upgrades. Its saves up loads of times.

Now with all this x ray tech, I'd love to see some adaption made for showing physical wounds. You blow a guys mouth off on an x ray, you see it when he falls over in the aftermath. You blow a guy's heart up, you see the blood pool after.
All the moments I wish I recorded over all the hours of playing this awesome game. One that stands out the most was a running jump off a roof right into a stealth kill. Kinda of a "death from above" moment that was just perfect.
