Theres a guy I ran into several times on xbox. He only ran on the factory level with the smelter building. He booby trapped all invader spawn points and stayed in the same spot. Everytime someone invaded, they'd die. If they accept a rety, the traps would reset.
Look up DuckWit that’s pretty much all he does and he has great commantary.
Just wanted to say that youtube randomly recommended one of your videos to me and I really like these type of videos, you're pleasant and entertaining to listen to.
I’ve been playing Axis Invasion now for the past few hours, and he’s right, this mode is very addictive, mainly when you kill the player. There’s just a rush of excitement when you either snipe the enemy, or wait in ambush and get them when they think they’re safe. The mode is definitely enjoyable, but is definitely catered more towards those who have played the Sniper Elite series, as anyone unfamiliar would find themselves woefully unprepared for what they should be doing.

Very much enjoy playing co-op, and operating as a spotter + sniper pair when the Jäger arrives. Totally understand the sentiment 'every game feels unique' too. With invasions on, the level gets that added excitement from time to time. Rematches with a skillful player are also a great way to learn, for when you want to switch back to being the Jäger too
Celebrating 300+ dead Karls with the Sniper Jäger! I think part of why this series' gotten a lot of mileage is how you generally try to take things slow, and narrate your thought process as you try to track down the enemy sniper. Having a calm and jovial disposition at all times, even when you've been outsmarted and bested, helps matters too. (Also the fact that a sizable number of opponents you're up against at least know what they're doing; seems like a good amount of Axis Invasion videos on RUclips are little more than long montages of dunking on people who don't even know which end of their rifle the bullet comes out of.)
Have you considered playing as the the opposition for a video, playing the campaign with Axis Invasions turned on and taking all comers?
Love these videos, especially the challenge vids where you choose a specific loadout for a character! I'd love to see you play through the campaign with Axis Invasion enabled so you can see what it's like, could be fun sniping other players while trying to finish the objectives.
Thanks for the laughs yet again! I really enjoy your vids good sir. One suggestion for a future vid - maybe you could try invasion on authentic difficulty? I recently finished SE5 on authentic, went back to SE4 and did the same and I gotta say the games' aren't half as good on lower difficulties. Sure they're nice to have for people new to the series but anyone enjoying these should definitely try the harder modes. Stripping away all the crutches makes it much more immersive and tense.

Brilliant video mate I've only recently started playing Sniper Elite 5 but haven't gotten around to invasion yet I wanna get used to the game and its DLCs I've just bought the Hitler Berghoff DLC and the Sabotage DLC I'm gonna get the rest and probably start playing Axis invasion somewhere in between it all. It looks a hella fun.
It's weird how the MG is so much more accurate when you're holding it than when mounted.

What's nice about the dark souls style multiplayer, in this, is that even when you have multiple people it doesn't feel completely out of your favour. Although I wish the X-ray vision wasn't a thing.

It’s definitely fun playing as the Jäger, trying to do a stealth run without getting spotted during an invasion is a lot harder, lol.
Agreed, I am a total hypocrite, I love invading (over 300 kills now) but I hate being invaded so I usually turn them off when I'm playing campaign, lol.
10:38 Watchdogs 2 did the same thing, ive had players invade my game and it made me so scared cause i didnt expect it at all

I only remember two of those in the entire campaign. Secret weapons and Liberation I think

@@douglascasale8367 isn't there a flare gun in the bunker just before the railyard? It's somewhere in that area... quite handy for taking out the tanks by the main gate
There are two flare guns in Secret Weapons. One is in the bunker like @thecreativeminimalist described. Another one is in the tank area. It is in front of the main gate.

I got 0 kills as an invader, and 864 kills against invaders.
I love getting invaded, the cat and mouse, who can catch the other off guard first, who will slip up first, can I set up traps in advance from being invaded to give myself the edge?
This is a great one and I am excited for the eventual release of the next one!
Love this game, i just wish it was first person, the 3rd person peaking just ruining fights when ppl just peak waiting for scope glints.
Yeah third person is always an issue with pvp games, and this game has the camera approximately 3 lightyears away from the player so it's extremely easy to peek corners.
If this same concept was done but with forced first person, it would be chefs kiss

I find it difficult to find players in axis invasion sometimes. I wish they made it to where you could play this in offline mode and the Ai allied sniper just moved from objective to objective in a random order each time. Infinite replayability if this was a reality and you could also up the difficulty for the allied sniper. That would be a blast to play when there aren’t people playing with axis invader enabled.
At 6:29 you can see the white trail of the bullet that kills the guy in the tower
This is the kind of mode I was hoping to get in Hitman 3. Imagine invading another’s game and trying to work out who they are behind the disguise

This mode is very addictive as the invader. Racked up 500 kills and then said to myself I'd stop playing (Well that was a lie) Now I'm creeping past 1000 kills 😂

all tho half these maps are more close range combat, I love this game especially Invasion I've played this game since day one and almost got 2000 confirmed kills, yh tbf I think I should take a break 😅

Love invasion mode, but I wish you could select the difficulty you invade. Really prefer authentic, but I refuse to play cadet or anything with no bullet drop
I started playing Axis Invasion 2 weeks age, and i can honestly say....Yes I am addicted! I vowed to stop after the first 100 kills, but that did not happen!

"Blow up the barrel," did you know that the invader cannot blow up explosives? I tried on Spy Academy, two co-opers were right next to an explosive barrel, I shot it and... Nothing happened. I think only the campaign player bullets can "ignite" the explosive ordenance.

The mechanic where u marked the enemy in the guillie in the grass was trash. That shoudlnt happen, then u can just scan the whole map without actually spotting the enemy. Otherwise interesting video.

Its so disappointing they made it 3rd person. Being able to see over cover and around walls completely ruins the tension and completely breaks the basics of tactics
I mean it's the fifth game in a long-running franchise and the guy getting invaded has a built-in "focus mode" where he just gets wallhacks so, idk.
I don't think the game is trying to be "tactical" mate.

I've enjoyed playing this game a lot, had some real funny moments and some real "Why?" moments
I actually invaded a guy who was cheating. Not only had he trapped all the phones, he'd manually placed several mines at all of them and when I refused to play his game he shot me through several walls.
The walls were shot through with AP ammo. There’s almost nothing AP ammo can’t penetrate in this game. So he was just abusing all the game mechanics but no cheating. If he would cheat he would be flying across the map/teleporting or kill you on spawn or something.
@@LeanAndMean44 He shot me from the other side of the map through multiple walls with an smg. He kept missing. It was on the easiest difficulty setting.
And didn’t think the story player could trap phones, just the Jäger could. He could trap dead bodies.
