Holy shit I love all the stories in this book (same opinion on Lally's Game tbh) and never thought about these parallels. When you revealed the Charlie theory I GASPED out loud. I do have an alternate "Under Construction" theory I might wanna bounce around in my head a little more, but it doesn't conflict with ur interpretation at all so I'm just gonna incorporate that into my belief system. The Lally/Mimic bit was INSANE as well. Esp since they both play Hide-and-Seek... also keep in mind the "teenage girl who gets dragged into some bullsh-t because she wants to feel included" trope when you get to future books! "Charlie has not left the building." Most important to this theory: when you get to the fifth book, "Nexie," there'll be a short called "Drowning." IDR if you've read it yet- but, uh, I think it might be something to keep an eye out for. As for the next book, some very good stories in there! I'm sure you've already been warned about "B-7," though, so make sure you're going in with the right headspace. In-book, it does seem like Billy has a form of clinical lycanthropy, seeing as his doctor brings it up on-page at one point. I mean if VIP is in the same continuity, then the virus/program was at the pizzaplex before it spread through the whole complex using the Storyteller. So maybe the staff bots were on a different system separate from the glamrocks and were easier to infect earlier on

This is the first time I'm actually giving Lally's Game much thought at all but Lally sounds like a metaphor for an abusive partner's baggage. He tries to hide it and carry it with him, but he uses her natural curiosity as an excuse to give in to his immature impulse to use violence to solve problems. Then even in the face of direct evidence of his lies, she still tries to believe him until it's too late. I just saw It Ends With Us last night (very triggering movie BTW, look up warnings about the movie if you go) and that movie also shows the cycle in a very similar way so it stood out to me immediately. The movie was also too slow, but in the movie's case, it wants to draw us in and charm us with the abuser before the turn of the movie, so it kind of had to be super long. Great vid!
looking at these and the frights stories as metaphors is such a cool way to read them you and some others have left some very good analyses in this vein on my book videos and I really appreciate reading them I agree with that interpretation a lot and the way he starts to change around the same time they marry is another indicator of the way abusers trap their victims in the relationship before they ever start abusing.

Fucking adore this video. All of your videos are so well done and you've quickly risen to be one of my favorite theorists to watch. I always really liked frailty and under construction, yet under construction gets written off as the "cancer baby story" so much. There was so much good character writing in that story I felt people ignored. You really dive into the themes of a story and don't immediately go WHAT DOES THIS TELL US ABOUT THE LOREEEEE! When you give the parallel argument, it feels less insane. I will say though, puppets soul does live on in the frights only for us to see it put to rest in the blob with the tears gone. So yes it did live after the fnaf 6 fire, but under the stitchline if you choose to believe it, it's put to rest. I also really want to warn you before B7, although many have argued it has transphobic themes, the inspiration for this story is completely different. If you do ever go over this I feel I should tell you that there's two things that I feel mainly inspired B7, one of which is an episode of the highlight zone where there's a human robot named B7 which is a boxer. I think watching this ep may help understand the themes of b7. The episode is called Steel. Spoilers for B7 below The second thing is the black alien project. This is a man who has done many things similar to B7 to mutilate himself into becoming the alien he feels he is inside. Most of the things billy does to his body, this man has as well. This is a real guy, who's similarly supported by his mother online. Many call this story transphobic, but I think it covers a separate issue entirely that you should maybe look into, because I really don't feel that the story should be read that way.
I really liked this video! Though I would like to give my own theory on Lally's Game: Lally is not The Mimic, but rather an agony entity. This is, I believe, confirmed by the ending, which clearly spells it out: "Nothing but blackness could be seen in the vast space... until two small pinpoints of light peeked up over the top of the old trunk." That's the final paragraph of the story, and it happens after a whole story dedicated to Lally being a scary doll that teleports around, spies on the protagonist, and keeps them awake at night. Also, there's the obvious inplication: the trunk is The Box. Or rather represents the box. Some things are best left forgotten, but when you don't, and you open that Pandora Box again, then the horrors will happen again. Cade is a parallel to BV, a guy who, when he was a kid, had an imaginary best friend who he played with all day, but, after an accident, it turned evil and started hunting him around, chasing. Just like the Fredbear Plush is doing to BV in FNAF 4. There are SEVERAL instances in MANY FNAF books in which a character does a bad action or suffers an accident, and is then tormented by an agony entity using a vessel that the character trusts or likes. It happens with Cade and Lally, with Delilah and Ella, with Edward and the Friendly Face thing, with Oswald and Pitbonnie. They are all people haunted by the living reminder of a tragedy of their past, if not tortured by Eleanor possessing a doll. So, then, what does this tell us about the games? The Fredbear Plush in FNAF 4 is a plush possessed by Shadow Freddy tormenting BV. This goes in line with BVRunaway and ShadowMM, theories that state that BV is the Runaway in Midnight Motorist, and that Shadow Freddy is the one outisde luring BV out and leaving footprints. The story is about a person (or rather two but we only see it from Selena's pov) trying to live a normal life, but being followed and observed by a doll that follows them around, that watches them at any moment, and takes away their sleep. That's exactly what happens in the FNAF 4 minigames. BV is living his life as he can, but with the constant stress of being followed around by the Fredbear Plush, everyhwere he goes and everyhting he does, always being eatched and followed. So, also from this and the other stories I mentioned, I think we can also gather that BV couldn't sleep, and/or had terrible nightmares. We also see that Lally communicates with people when they're close enough, just as we see the Fredbear Plush do with BV. And not only when he's close enough, but also when he's not even there. He telepathically communicates with BV when he's at Fredbear's, which is another point to it being a paranormal entity, and not William or something of the like. Also, the topic I started with but didn't expand upon a lot: the trunk being a stand-in for The Box (yes, in capital letters). Both are big trunks, hidden in places where they are meant to be forgotten or hidden, that are related to a stalking doll, and with two locks. This could imply that the Fredbear Plush is inside The Box, or that Shadow Freddy is. But it ties this story with FNAF 4 even further. Both share a box where the bad memories are kept in. Maybe BV also tried to lock the Fredbear Plush in the box (which might have or might not have worked). So, the parallels are there. TL;DR: The story parallels the FNAF 4 minigames. Also of drug PSAs from the like 80’s where they’re like you do weed once and in a week you’re dying of a heroin overdose. But mostly of the “do not disobey God or your family or you will be punished severely for being selfish” things. I think it’s cuz the “disobedient” ones are both girls. Hard to leave my thoughts completely bc I’m at work

As in the fourth closet Circus baby/Fake Charlie says I am not me, or at least includes those words in that order in a sentence, That i think is more closely worded as, “so what you think I am not me?” Now I don’t remember the specific page and line but I have book so i will skim for the line

I don't think it's fair of me to say I believe one thing or the other until I give myself the time to truly examine every story Once I've made my way through I think I'll have a lot clearer picture in my head, even if it's not perfect.
I am waiting for further evidence of 2 things. 1. Into the Pit is directly connected to the game timeline and not it's own timeline 2. The other stories are in the same timeline as into the pit We know there are key differences between the game into the pit and the story into the pit. We also know Scott had details put into security breach but did not tell the developers the story causing the story of security breach to not be what he intended. The Fazbear frights books were written before that lesson was learned so I would assume a potentially similar issue could and likely did arise there. A separate timeline allows leway which made that not an issue a direct tie in causes. We need to see how much of security breach is still valid in future material to make the final call on if the books are direct tellings of what happened in the game timeline between eras or if they are separate timelines with the same general rules to help us solve the main timeline. Until we have direct connecting evidence between the games timeline and the frights timeline intersecting I personally will treat them as such. There is at this time honestly only a few things that would matter by treating them as 1 and that is mostly just Andrew and Cassidy... assuming all of the end of world events are just people having their perception of reality messed with.

@edu8188 1.Silver eyes takes place in the Five Nights at Freedy's universe. We know it is a different timeline. 2. There are differences between the Into the Pit game and the Into the Pit story. Those differences matter and could also exist in the other stories. There also still are some contradictions between those stories and what is believed to be in some of the games. That is why I personally use reference source level in all fandoms. I just need more sources to verify the integrity of other sources for FNAF, we have in every media of FNAF storytelling unreliability in the narrorator. The few things we have that are solid have multiple interpretations.

@edu8188 A2. To my knowledge, it is potentially the same pendant, not the same girl. I also do not feel we can one for one say tales is in the games timeline. My biggest reasoning for that is the potentially two different entry points for the entity entering the pizzaplex in the stories. We have multiple ways how the mimic entered the Pizzaplex as well. Even assuming that is the same pendant and that Elenor does exist in the games and that her story is unchanged from what is in the books. Why does it matter? The strongest connection her presence has in the lore is that agony entities can exist (likely the tangle), that Andrew is the vengeful spirit which then means Cassidy is either the Crying child or still the 5th missing child and none of the original animatronics are the vengeful spirit, and somehow Fazbear was able to cover up all the craziness her adventures got into. A3. Everything in FNAF has an unreliable narrorator. We have half a dozen ways to have anything seen by any character to be entirely wrong. That honestly isn't good writing or even logical. That is completely an issue of making a story up as you go along and then realizing the plot points you previously set up contradict your existing plot points. A4. I directly said I am not sure Into the Pit the game is in the games timeline. Even if it was the mini games, they showed slightly different events than what the books had. There is talk of a Fetch game being made after the success of Into the Pit, and if it is, then we will see how close it is to the previous story. All of that aside a stronger point for you would have been the Stitch Wraith directly appearing in the game. I am waiting for some form of direct connection between what we know for a fact is a game's timeline game tying into the events of these books. We legitimately do not have that yet. We have multiple verified examples of other existing timelines where the rules and events of them are to help solve the game timeline (movie, silver eyes). That is why I still have doubts of the tales books being in the games timeline. I am hoping evidence from the secret of the mimic either proves or disproves tales of the pizzaplex being in the games timeline because right now there are too many tools to throw doubt or prove normally logical connections are false on the topic. A5. Yes, there were differences because of gameplay reasons. That is not a debate. But not all changes can be said to only be for gameplay reasons. That is why I am looking for Fetch being made to give a second data point to reference for this. Edit: Hyperdroid just solved the Foxy grid for the name DAVE using 1 logical method that didn't break. Andrew is now a massive issue for me as Golden Freddy is implied to be responsible for UCN and the books give that honor to Andrew. We now have potentially three spirits connected to Golden Freddy if Frights are part of the game timeline.

I don't think it's fair of me to say I believe one thing or the other until I give myself the time to truly examine every story

I am waiting for further evidence of 2 things.
1. Into the Pit is directly connected to the game timeline and not it's own timeline
2. The other stories are in the same timeline as into the pit
We know there are key differences between the game into the pit and the story into the pit. We also know Scott had details put into security breach but did not tell the developers the story causing the story of security breach to not be what he intended. The Fazbear frights books were written before that lesson was learned so I would assume a potentially similar issue could and likely did arise there. A separate timeline allows leway which made that not an issue a direct tie in causes.
We need to see how much of security breach is still valid in future material to make the final call on if the books are direct tellings of what happened in the game timeline between eras or if they are separate timelines with the same general rules to help us solve the main timeline.
Until we have direct connecting evidence between the games timeline and the frights timeline intersecting I personally will treat them as such. There is at this time honestly only a few things that would matter by treating them as 1 and that is mostly just Andrew and Cassidy... assuming all of the end of world events are just people having their perception of reality messed with.

The into the Pit steam bio says It takes place in the "Five nights at freedy's universe"
2: almost ALL of the fazbears frights storys conect toghether, wich includes into the Pit.

@edu8188 1.Silver eyes takes place in the Five Nights at Freedy's universe. We know it is a different timeline.
2. There are differences between the Into the Pit game and the Into the Pit story. Those differences matter and could also exist in the other stories.
There also still are some contradictions between those stories and what is believed to be in some of the games. That is why I personally use reference source level in all fandoms. I just need more sources to verify the integrity of other sources for FNAF, we have in every media of FNAF storytelling unreliability in the narrorator. The few things we have that are solid have multiple interpretations.

2 Tales in it´s marketing is said to take place in "the world of the newest games" in it´s first story "frailty" shows a eleanor victim, a fazbears frights character,so both are gameline.
3: There are preaty much no "contradictions" that can´t be reinterpreted or explained with simple logic. Like funtime freedy in count the ways beng showed to be eleanor.
4: Thr game into the pit shows references to a lot of stories.

@edu8188 A2. To my knowledge, it is potentially the same pendant, not the same girl. I also do not feel we can one for one say tales is in the games timeline. My biggest reasoning for that is the potentially two different entry points for the entity entering the pizzaplex in the stories. We have multiple ways how the mimic entered the Pizzaplex as well. Even assuming that is the same pendant and that Elenor does exist in the games and that her story is unchanged from what is in the books. Why does it matter? The strongest connection her presence has in the lore is that agony entities can exist (likely the tangle), that Andrew is the vengeful spirit which then means Cassidy is either the Crying child or still the 5th missing child and none of the original animatronics are the vengeful spirit, and somehow Fazbear was able to cover up all the craziness her adventures got into.
A3. Everything in FNAF has an unreliable narrorator. We have half a dozen ways to have anything seen by any character to be entirely wrong. That honestly isn't good writing or even logical. That is completely an issue of making a story up as you go along and then realizing the plot points you previously set up contradict your existing plot points.
A4. I directly said I am not sure Into the Pit the game is in the games timeline. Even if it was the mini games, they showed slightly different events than what the books had. There is talk of a Fetch game being made after the success of Into the Pit, and if it is, then we will see how close it is to the previous story. All of that aside a stronger point for you would have been the Stitch Wraith directly appearing in the game. I am waiting for some form of direct connection between what we know for a fact is a game's timeline game tying into the events of these books. We legitimately do not have that yet. We have multiple verified examples of other existing timelines where the rules and events of them are to help solve the game timeline (movie, silver eyes). That is why I still have doubts of the tales books being in the games timeline. I am hoping evidence from the secret of the mimic either proves or disproves tales of the pizzaplex being in the games timeline because right now there are too many tools to throw doubt or prove normally logical connections are false on the topic.
A5. Yes, there were differences because of gameplay reasons. That is not a debate. But not all changes can be said to only be for gameplay reasons. That is why I am looking for Fetch being made to give a second data point to reference for this.
Edit: Hyperdroid just solved the Foxy grid for the name DAVE using 1 logical method that didn't break. Andrew is now a massive issue for me as Golden Freddy is implied to be responsible for UCN and the books give that honor to Andrew. We now have potentially three spirits connected to Golden Freddy if Frights are part of the game timeline.
