      The thumbs down are the people that are not enjoying the RC Life... nothing more. Let them have their Thumbs down, it's a reflection of what sort of person they are haha... 😎👌

      I always wondered if it said who gives thumbs up and down to creators. It shouldn't be anonymous

    • @stuart3712
      @stuart3712 3 года назад +4

      @@dominicpsn I think it should be private as people has a right to their own private opinion if they dislike something or not. Realistically, when you dislike a vid, all the creators fanboi's will flood you by name and rip you a new one if they knew you disliked it. Sorry but i think that toxicity should say out of RUclips and such communities.... If creators knows who dislikes by name, you can bet that creator will name them by name and shame them publicly which is not good because they would not know why their vid was disliked which could be for a good reason.
      On that note now im thinking about it, i do think RUclips statistics should tell the creator on all the people (not by name) that disliked their vid, who the these people are more subscribed to and vids they liked and name that creator to the one getting all the dislikes. That would shed some light on a few things....

    Love my decade old Summit. When the shifting servos crapped out I didn't want to spend the money on more stock servos that were going to die again. Being a micro with a 25 tooth output it's a bit hard to find suitable replacements. However, HobbyKing to the rescue. I found the Turnigy TGY-390V fit perfectly and is much more robust. There's also the TGY-210DMH and TGY-390DMH that will fit the stock spaces without modification. As for steering, a pair of DSServo DS3218MG are way stronger than stock, and again much more robust. Hope this helps. Great vids. Cheers.
    PS- snip two little holes in each tire on opposite sides so they can shed the water quickly and easily.

    my SUmmit rocks a Hobbywing Ezrun Max8 setup, 4-6s, 150A with a 2200kv motor, no sensors. It's rather silly fast for a summit on 4 s, i've yet to try it on 6, but i believe it might be ridiculous, i even put the smallest pinion traxxas setup can have to tone the beast down.
    Your build for a slow and steady crawler, that could also be fun, do i need a second summit, one for 6s shanenigans and one for crawling.

The scale models and crawlers esp, look like real cars,.maxxed up a bit. The big models you mention though...... yeah I would like my stuff to be faster and not roll over so much, I hate the long walk to pick em up. The rear chassis brace is a must as well, it saves the rear bulkhead.

      @@TomleyRC nice I had to do it to my trx6 wheels but had to mount them on my 1/16 erevo to spin them fast enough to get all the water out lol. Can't wait for the next vid!

    I'm lovin' mine! I have ended up shelling out for new OEM wheels/tires as the other tires had seriously perished presumably due to age/exposure to sunlight, and splut on most of the sidewalls. So any water got absorbed by the sponges inside. I spun 'em up to get rid of some of it and copped it in the face. 🤦 Eejit! Oh and I have now vowed not to buy any more Lipo packs in my cars. Primarily as I always take one or two RC cars with me when I visit family. Don't get me wrong, I've never had any probs with Lipos, but I don't want to be charging them in anyone else's house. I even sold two almost new 3S 7000mah packs to a mate at work for £10 each. So anything that can take it is getting 7 cell Nimh, and obviously the Summit gets 2 packs at a time. Well over 40 mins is I'm not full speed bashing it!

    The only part of the summit that matches the performance you'd expect from it just by looking is it's price. Appearance wise it's awesome. It looks great but it has hobby grade looks and price with walmart speed and capability.
