A lovely walk out with the dog taking in one of the best views in the Lake District, Walla Crag. Blue on form as always enjoying the water and the exercise. A tough boggy walk/run to finally find a place to settle for the night. It’s just awesome to be outside!

Just returned South from a a few days in the Lakes and this was just the nourishment I needed. Thanks Al and Blue, this one was a belter.
Al, you've outdone yourself with this one. Stunning views for miles, rainbows, Blue finding his own alternative way under the fence, and so much more. (Why are there not thousands of people up there enjoying those views?) Time for me to go watch the video again.
Thanks Jan. I do enjoy making these videos and Blue always adds his twist. He made me laugh when he made his own way under the fence😂
Wow, what a beautiful view! Must be one of the most beautiful view in England
Stunning views on an amazing camp. Thanks for bringing us along on the adventure. Perfect evening viewing after a day at work.
Thanks Brian. Hopefully it had the right affect👍
So good to see you and Blue out with big smiles on both your faces.
Loved the filming on this mate. The scenes of the walk in and run out were put together very well and had a nice vibe to it. Glad to you both out doing what you love. Agree camping, freedom, adventure is a pot of gold in itself
That is definitely it. I know You’ll get it😉. Thanks mate👍👍👍
Amazing to see you & blue back on your wild camping adventures ❤ them...thank you Al for all do to keep us entertained.luv & hugs 🤗💕😊
Cheers Paul I’m glad you enjoy the videos 😬
Wonderful , loved the hike , your buddy playing in the water .the heather , the views .the music lovly with the water .
Thankyou for sharing .
Thank you😊. We both loved this camp😬
Another good one Al. Love the scenery and Blue his usual happy energetic self like you. Have a nice week. ❤
What a view mate! Thanks boys. Always a real pleasure 💚
Utterly beautiful. Thank you for taking us along.
Al and Blue, thanks so much for a beautiful trip. You and Blue have inspired me to get out and enjoy nature more.
Excellent as always, love that area and Blue was a star as usual!!!!
Only two minutes in and its already a perfect start.
Thank you.
Good to see you and Bluey on the tops again, great filming as usual and I could have watched those clouds roll on by forever ❤
I pretty much did! Such moody skies give some great entertainment
Thanks for making this; its the mountains i have climbed the most, and so near to Keswick.
Its so well put together, and the sunshine really wins, and makes us happy. 😊
Great to see you and blue back on the mountains as usual an awesome video
Well, I loved it, too! Thank you for all the effort for our enjoyment.
Thanks. Definitely some effort goes in to making videos but I always appreciate the final outcome😊
Great vid again pal. Absolutely love Walla Crag, great views over Derwent Water
Thank you very much Allan!
Agreed. Any overnight camping is exhilarating.
Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.
It’s the simplicity of it that I love. Self reliance👍
I think you have found your rainbow already, riches beyond measure. Thanks for sharing them.
I think a simple life is a happy life😬👍
Loved it ,the best of its kind on RUclips well done to you and Blue
Great video lovely to see you and blue out again beautiful scenery look forward to your next one xx
HELLO. BEAUTIFUL. LOVELY. SCENERIES. LANDSCAPE. AWESOME. HIKING. CAMPING.
Your films are incredibly beautiful. Watched a few now and love your dad, love you, love Blue... what's not to like! Just subscribed, belled, and liked. Thanks so much, Alan (from West Aussie).
I’m glad you found the channel🥰
Another cracking trip Al. This makes me want to buy a tent and get out there. Just love the Lake District too.
Great to see you and Blue out on the mountains and wild camping 🏕 I really enjoyed this 😊 And what beautiful vistas. Thank you, another great video 😊
Thanks😊
That was lovely to watch 😊
Allan, Allan here in Canada. I am originally from Perth Scotland. your videos are inspiring me to get off my ass and get in walking-hiking shape. ive just lost 20 pounds and it feels great. If you ever wanna come explore some real mountains like the Rockies - they are in my back yard and youre welcome to come chill here.
Well done mate on the weight loss! It’s a tough thing to do so respect for that. Keep exercising 👍👍👍
This one was epic! Not just the views but your enthusiasm is contagious! Good one Al!
😂 let’s hope it becomes an epidemic 😊😉
Hey! Good to see you out wild camping again with Blue! Loved this vid. I like the Wayfarer meals tbh I think they are good value. Loved the scenery and the moody clouds. Tent is roomy too. Anyway, great to see you on here! Take care.🙂
I do like those meals. Just easy to prepare and tasty😬
I've been waiting for your new adventure to come out, and you've not disappointed me. The quality of your videos is getting better every time you post. Stunning views and quality commentary make me feel like I am right there with you. I'm quite a keen walker of the Lakes and used to go there regularly until I emigrated to Oz. While there is nice walks were I am it will never compete with the Lakes. I suffer from PTSD and your videos is a great tonic, and make me want to get out more. Keep up the great work you'll soon be at 100k subscribers
Thanks mate much appreciated. I’m really glad my little videos can help you even if just a touch of inspiration or a kick to get outside more. 👍👍👍
Welcome back , happy haircut 😊
Great to see you both back and wow what a place
Loving these 'little' hills with massive views series, top film Al. Said it before, the quality of your filming/editing is second to none. Top scenery, Blue splashing around makes me happy. Ta. 🐐 🐶 ❤
Thanks Mal. I’m always learning😊
Wow your summer weather is so cool for back packing...here korea summer is too hot and very high humidity, so we usually give up summer camping or back packing.
Yes I’m not so keen on the very hot weather. I definitely prefer the sub zero winter camps👍
Ace video Al, thanks for taking us all along 👍 “Only 4-5 hours sleep” lol I’m still quite new to wild camping and so far I’m lucky if I manage to get 2 hours. I have only ever ventured up that way the once and it was on my bike. The heather was a nightmare, it took my derailleur clean off and I ended up loosing my way somewhat. A lesson learned, so invested in a Garmin to be safer when out on an adventure. ATB 😉
😂 not much riding up there in the wet. You’ll have to practise sleeping not pitching tents😂
One of my favourite walks out of castle rigg sight. Dropping down lordor falls onto cat bells portinscale back to castle rig for a pint 👍🏻
Plenty of easyish walks with big views. Cat bells always provides 👌
Beautiful!!!
Love this. If Guy Martin did wild camping videos, they wouldn’t be as good as this😄 definitely resurrected a keenness to get back into this along with my dog, something I haven’t done for over 30 years😳👍
😂 Guy Martin is a sound fella too. Thanks 👊
Ah, Bushman has a new video. My outdoor hero.
- Does not remember the name of his destination
- Gets to destination and forgets where he's just come from.
- Not quite sure what he's brought for dinner.
Hehe. Low blood sugar I am guessing :) Thank you for a wonderful video.
😂 probably or just enjoying being present. Thanks 😊👊
Incredible video
As always thanks a lot
Hello Al.. & Blue .. another great video with beautiful photography and soundtrack, thank you.
I’m not receiving notifications and have to search for you even though I have All Notifications on. I wonder why Al.
Thanks Tracy I enjoyed this one as it was such a relaxing day. I have no clue about the notifications. I don’t use it myself.
Nice tent Al, I do like Semi-Geodesic tents that you lie parallel to the door. I've a TN Solar and choose it for that reason, it is however getting on a bit. Video proves you can have amazing views on a pretty modest hill. Many thanks for sharing your adventures.
Nice having the extra space too. Nice tent👍
Beautiful camera work
Brilliant video.
Oh yes BushyBoy, thought this was gonna B Ur take on camp with Andy...!👍Time to settle down for some quality B&B...!!!😄✔️💯👍💕👊...
That will be soon😉
@@BUSHMANandBLUE 😄 Was sure U must have had ya camera 📸 out...!🤣👍 Good on ya & look forward to it...!✔️👊💯
Really enjoyed this ! Thanks Al and Blue 😊😊🐶
What a lovely video and views thank you from sylvia ukxx
Hi. LIKE. LIKE. LIKE. AWESOME. TENT.
Can't wait for some cooler weather to start hiking again.
Excellent....as ever.
Yes !
Beautiful mt. Scenes with you and the beautiful Blue!!
Awesome to see you out with blue in the wilds 👊👍👌❤️
Outstanding video as always ..views were amazing and blue loved every minute ...music was also class ....just loved it al thankyou for all your hard work ...❤
Thanks Christine. Definitely hard work 👍
You should go up to Glossop in Derbyshire, there's tons of hills up there in and around Glossop, hadfield, padfield, tintwistle etc, you'll enjoy it.
Blue doesn't bother coming back to pick up the camera with you anymore he's onto it 😉
Lovely location 😍😍😍
That first place ws amazing the final place was outstanding love the look of that tent lots of room and looks like it can withstand a strong wind atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Thanks buddy. It’s a great tent for the summer as you can open it all out. We just haven’t had a summer😂.
@@BUSHMANandBLUE 🤣🤣🤣 your not wrong there might be a nice winter
Brill as always al was laughing at bag in food in doggin 😂
Hi Al and Blue. We havnt watched you in a while. Really enjoyed the awesome views. My husband David has done all those mountains we could see in his younger days . Like you he used to run up some of them lol. Great to see you wild camping again. Take care both of you.😊😊
It’s nice having memories of these mountains. Always more to climb (or run)
Good to see you out again. We were up there a couple of months back doing it the reverse way round, luckily just after the dry spell, so not too boggy 😊
It would be worse in a soggy winter. I won’t be going back up😂
So beautiful, great video thank u 😊
Fabulous!
Wow, some fantastic views in that area. That is an awesome looking tent. Pitches nice and the colour is spot on.
I've just spent £80 on MRE's on a buy 1 get 1 half price offer. The Wayfarer meals a really nice but just not enough in them. Thanks for showing us all these beautiful places.
Yes that’s why I always add a rice or pasta packet. Taste good though👍
Nice one AL, it's a beautiful area for views considering how easy (physically) to get to it is. Cracking wee video, you're right tho that area is a bogfest especially in winter. Enjoyed that one and really really like that tent 👍
Yes I wouldn’t walk up there again without flippers😂. I love that tent for summer although where is summer?! Cheers Si 👍
@@BUSHMANandBLUE aye its a shame it's bog trotting central up there because that area has some serious bang for the buck like, yeah been a terrible summer really eh. Aye belter tent that, I love it 👍
Great video 😊
Great to see Blue out and about again, oh, sorry yeah, you too🤣
Seriously, another great presentation, stunning scenery!
😂 someone has to film Blue😂
Always shot down in flames, I'll get me coat, lol! 🤣@@BUSHMANandBLUE
Great video guys. Fantastic scenery just one thing you should never point at a rainbow 🌈
BLUEBERRY !!! … 😂that made me chuckle haha good to see you both in lakes again loving it keep it going..
I think I was just hungry😂😂😂
@@BUSHMANandBLUE hope to see another adventure soon you 2 😎👍
Excellent video, love the wild camping and them views wow, loved watching Blue in the water, i was actually drinking blackcurrant and lemonade when you mentioned it lol 😂 keep up the good work 👍🐾⛺
It’s always a drink I crave. We were never allowed any fizzy drinks as a kid so I remember getting blackcurrant and lemonade out for dinner a few times as a treat. 😂
Great vlog as always …. Still the best by far ….. views fantastic shame and the wind n rain
It all adds to the ambiance 😬
Enjoyed this, look after that boy Blue! J&A&B&T
Another great vid. I often wonder which tent you would choose if you had only one for a whole 2 years up there?
2 years in one spot? A marquee 😂.
One tent for all round use… the Abisko lite 2 probably.
I asked to indicate what would last and keep you safe etc. Thankyou I notice another popular wild camper uses that tent too 👍
Great video Al, Miss the lakes, was out there last month, I remember asking you about that tent a few years back, Ended up with the abisko dome 2, brilliant tents . 😊
They are top quality for definite and well designed 👌
Great camp Alan, not sure I’ve climbed Skidaddle? Perhaps it’s a secret one, at the end of that rainbow😂
😂😂😂 it’s really hard to find
😎
Great vid Al. I do like the look of that tent. Be interesting to see if it could stretch to 4 season.
The materials are the same as the abisko lite 1 and 2 so definitely tough enough but it’s not quite as sturdy design. Would cope with most nights out
Nice to see you both back out mate and love the cooking inspiration.what no Brew dog.!🍺🍺
No beer to be seen😂
What training should I focus on to help keep my dogs attention on me when we see other dogs?
My dog is great off the lead at all times EXCEPT when he sees another male dog with his balls and he’s still cool all the time he just doesn’t want to break that eye contact and when he does sometimes and brings his attention to me that triggers the other dog to attack.
Great video by the way you always inspire me to get myself out there 🙏🏻
...and the wind chanel is back😀 i missed it
The sunset is always there, there's just sometimes some condensed water vapour in the way. Spending the night on a hill is worth more than any amount of money.
Yes I agree. I just hope more people realise that😉
Love that view tent Alan another top video as always top man 👏👏
Always enjoyable you and Blue
Interesting and funny
Keep up the good work
Thanks👊👊👊
High quality video, what do you use now, great views, just been to Cathedral cave, little Langdale and the Witcher cave Hodge Close.
Lovely places to visit. Still using a GoPro
Hey Al i saw DU11 DUB whizz past me in Poolley Bridge sunday😊 I have similiar van 😊 would have liked to see inside so i could get a jealous feeling 😂😮😂😂
Whizz isn’t something that van can do😂😂😂. I was on my way home😉
@@BUSHMANandBLUE have you thought about getting it remapped? My van was 102ps i believe (1.6 engine?) Remap can take it to 140ps and i live in lakes the difference the extra power makes was well worth the money about £150 i think or there abouts 😉
This is what it’s all about. You have that pot of gold.
It’s making the most of what you have and your body👍👍👍
ive just got a price on the tent 😂, just fell off the mountain 📉
Yes all tents have gone up. I paid £600
Great video Al. But I really do prefer your mountain top winter. Snow challenges. That's when I think you have a screw loose lol.🖒
😂 it’s summer
Just brilliant as ever. Just goes to show you dont need to go really high to get the views
Plenty of lower fells that are lovely👌
Is the view 2 footprint worth the price? I’m carrying around a tyvek sheet but just wondering what your opinion of it is?
I have the footprint so it’s good to keep the dog off a wet floor in the porch. They do work well and it all attaches together so you never need to take it off.
A fantastic job well done and thank you 🙏 I’d be interested to know what trail shoes you favoured on this trip?
Nike zegama trail. Pretty comfy as they have a bouncy thick sole.
Hi. LIKE. LIKE. LIKE. BLUE.
Was that Thursday night you where out? I camped on Helvellyn then and my god was that some something else 😂
It was I think. Great night to be out just a tad windy😂
@@BUSHMANandBLUE I left my wee wind thing out over night and it was reading 54.8mph at some point over night 😂
what rucksack do you fit all that gear in? great vid again,
The rucksack wasn’t even full 😂. I think in summer 40 litres is overkill.
beautiful and brutal! looks like you had a hell of a night of it but beautiful day ahead of the camp. I'm getting a bit worried tho, is that 2 camps you've had now and no sign of any broccoli for dinner...? who are you and what have you done with Al? 😂😂
😂 broccoli is definitely my favourite 😂
@@BUSHMANandBLUE I knew it!! 😂😂
The pot of gold would only weigh you down, Allen. Stay exactly as you are - the last of the Mohicans :)
Cheers mate I totally get that. Simple life is a happier life👍
i thought you was going to break out into 🎹🎶 on blueberry hill🎶 at one point Al
😂😂😂
