I enjoyed this game immensely, beat it on very hard and did some missions on extreme to unlock some of the in-game cheats. It's so much fun, I'd say the biggest gripe I had with it was the boss fights, they felt kind of lacking.
The hvts or the actual boss fights?
I am a little over halfway in my Extreme run, and gotta say I'm loving it. It's balanced for a post campaign playthrough difficulty, cause I did kind of feel like I was steamrolling everything else. Extreme is a very good balance for when you're pushing to improve yourself. I haven't tried Rage mode yet.

the fact the difficulties will unlock things, so customization and cheats across the difficulties. I missed that!!
It should be reasonable though. I'm a casual player and seeing stuff I want being locked behind a difficulty I'll never beat is INFURIATING! I should not have to deal with that bullcrap on a single player game I had to pay for.
@@hunk4thsurvivor15 lol yeah can't relate, that's been the case for games since i was a kid. git gud. also you didn't HAVE to pay for anything, you chose to. you could wait until reviews come and you know what you're paying for. theres literally no one stopping you from not paying for something until such info's available. frankly why should accessibility constantly be the standard when there are those of us who have no problem failing. want cool things? then you gotta EARN them.

@@hunk4thsurvivor15 and that is a personal problem. because personally i suck at video games, i haven't unlocked a ton of cool things in both this game and others, but that hasn't stopped me from trying, maybe reframe the failure as the journey and you'll be surprised how often you can get good at something with consistency. 15 minutes a day, if it takes 6 months who fucking cares, that's 6 months worth of learning and having fun doing so if you're not a fucking quitter. failure doesn't have to be such a negative, people like you kill me because you feel you deserve shit just because you laid money down on a NICHE thing, sorry but you aren't owed anything, the experience tells you what to expect and you either go in knowing you won't have that cool stuff or you work to earn it. simple as that. just like literally any other niche skill. the community and the game doesn't owe you a specific experience because you want immediate success. people like you are the exact reason why micro transaction bullshit has become the cancer that it is, because they know you will spend the money to feel special.

The best singleplayer shooter I've played since Half-Life 2. The kills are glorious. No psycho.
This game, Deadlink, Ghostrunner II, Ultrakill, Gunfire: Reborn, and especially ROBOQUEST (just play it for a few hours on Discovery or Easy, look up guides for finding the movement tech and unlock all the gadgets. My personal fav FPS roguelite)…..I am so ready for more of these games! I just got Trepang2 today and it’s SO FUNNNN. Great video!
If we don't get a new FEAR game, I guess the indy scene just have to make their own. Looks cool! I wasn't a big fan of the demo due to the corridors, but this looks pretty neat.
