You are upping your game considerably and I appreciate it. If you really want to go down the development route, an actual app for installing and managing these themes (and possibly other creators themes) would be quite nice, gathering all of the common locations into a single UI to control what is what or even have the editing of colors and such built in. I know Gnome does not have a stable spec/api, but that's why people like me would pay a subscription for you to keep it up to date.

Thank you so much to people like you for making this possible. Having the color editor built in is a solid suggestion. Love your suggestions as always!

KDE provides an app for installing and managing themes out of the box.

Although I'm new to linux and all this ecosystem of distributions, when I take into consideration all of the content creators that I watched so far, your content is by far the highest quality and most appealing. Keep up the incredible work I believe you're guaranteed a spot at the top of this scene

I have manually edited the CSS files in the past by basically by trial and error to get the colors that I want, I had no idea there was a CSS editor like you used (I guess I should have looked!) Will definitely be using that next time I have to get in there. Thank you for taking the time to do the video, very helpful!

@@ArcTechnologies Wow, that App is so incredible. If you can do that, then you can surely take all of these Audience Suggestions and build a centralized app. I'd pay to be able to have something like what everyone here is envisioning. Go look at the App that Chris Titus built for Windows (I think) ... I don't remember the name, but it started real clunky, but now, it's really quite something special. I think it is for installing different things into Windows.

@@ArcTechnologies Like with Titus' app, he has an initial screen where you check boxes to load stuff into windows. You could easily do that (where in the background it runs sudo scripts), and then a single commit OKAY button to do it all. Be nice if it even put all the steps into a Text file (or whatever the LInux file is ... maybe SH, is it?). Then, we can re-run it again on a different machine. That'd be something pretty sweet.

Man thanks, i had the idea of forking fluent gtk theme and manually editing the colors to catppuccin mocha but didn't think i would be worth the effect. I think i can work on it now.

What would be a game changer in Linux is a "Please don't make me input my password again until X amount of minutes / hours have past"..
I live alone, It's a desktop PC I have a login password, how on earth can someone break in to steal my PC without it losing power therefore requiring the same password I've been forced to type so many times the password could be cracked by brute force just by looking at keyboard letter wear..
And do all of this world record PC heist being accomplished whilst I nipped to the toilet for 45 seconds or checked my food isn't burning.?
I'm sure this would be an extremely welcome labour saving relief to users wanting to move from Microsoft and I'm sure someone who knows what they are doing could incorporate this option in a distro.?
    Cheers..
Hopefully it's obvious that I just semi rage quitted out of my Mint VM then came on RUclips and the first Linux based video to do with changing the look of the desktop was this one.?
    :)
