Apologies for the dog chewing noises!

HI. Have you by any chance noticed a pop when you turn it on, especially if you turn it on with the gain high enough like from 1pm onwards? Can it be harmful to the amplifier or the amplifier cone? Greetings!
Hm I sold this pedal a while ago, but I did occasionally hear a pop. I think, based on my knowledge, the occasional pop shouldn't destroy your speaker, but you could try to avoid doing it too often. I found that using electronics cleaner sprayed into the footswitch helped mitigate the pops
It seems that in some types of true bypass pedals and in the majority of Electro Harmonix overdrives, the POP problem when turned on is due to one or more capacitors that accumulate electrostatic energy. Like you, I too had it some time ago and then I sold it, but then I decided to buy it back because the sound of this pedal is truly unique and exceptional, and you realize it when you try to replace it with another overdrive. Personally I don't like using tubescreamer style overdrives on the crunch channel of the amplifier, just as I don't like adding two overdrives: The sound becomes too confused and the noise is truly unbearable. So I use my two overdrives (full range overdrives) only on the clean channel of my Fender hot rod de luxe III. I currently use Crayon 76 and Boss Bd-2 Waza Craft made in Japan. So I decided to keep the crayon and buy a true bypass looper switch. Problem solved.
Greetings!
Yeah I wish they’d switch to relay true bypass with soft touch switches. Glad you like it!
I technically borrowed the Flanger from Mikey, who was borrowing it from his brother in law, I think.
Ah…well you can have it back whenever!
Did he really just say cran???😢
I got that Texan in me
