I do mine too, Claudia. I apply mine with a mascara type wand, so it’s not messy at all. I brush it on like mascara and let it sit for 10 mins. The results are just as good. You may want to try that and see what you think if you want a less messy application. Thanks for sharing!❤️

I have been tinting my own lashes (and brows )for years as well . I use a small applicator for the bottom and a clean silicone mascara wand for the top. ty for your tutorial

I’ve been doing this for the last 2 years too. Such a cheap & effective way to create a lasting good look and save $$. The tint tube literally costs less than one tint at the salon. And the tube lasts years

@@claudiaglows Here is low temperature. Even too much. Tomorrow even all schools will be closed for that reason. But I'm ok:) Black henna is the most long lasting thing what I've used. Yes,they put inside something chemical too for the best results. But it's not peroxide or ammonium. On my eyes I've never had inflammation. Now I use Aasha herbals black henna. But where are a lot others. Lashes become more thick. Good luck! 😘

You could just get a small bottle of castor oil ( a small bottle will last a long time) and apply it with either your fingers or a q-tip. Or even a clean mascara wand. Just curious if you’ve ever had them tinted a dark auburn / henna color (slight coppery or purple red tone) and how it turned out? 🧐 also great to hear your experience with castor oil since it seems like there’s conflicting information out there. I’ve found that the pure squalane I’ve used daily on the skin around my eyes for several years now has really improved both my lashes and eyebrows. They stay hydrated, healthy and less brittle - and never too greasy or heavy. What a pleasant surprise! 🤓

You know, I do not like to use lash treatments with prostaglandins in them, so I have only tried a few natural once, but I find what works the best is just plain old castor oil. I apply it to my lashes every night and it keeps them nice and healthy Lots of love to Arizona xx

Along with sunscreen, Retin-A, a laser here and there, and diet. I completely understand where you at, it can be so confusing, and there’s so much contradicting advice floating around. I am here to help you with whatever I can help with. Are you looking for advice on supplements? Or more on what to eat and how to work out? As far as my lifestyle, I have been plant-based for four years, and I’m absolutely loving it. I do quite a few what I eat in a day videos, so if you’re curious about what I eat, those might be interesting. I work out daily, about a half an hour, doing various kinds of workouts. I actually also have a video on a sort of typical week of my workouts. I think the most important thing we can do, as we approach the second half of our life, is to find joy in whatever it is we’re doing. Whether that is our workouts, the way we eat or how we spend our free time. Personally, I really had to learn to watch my thoughts, and watch how I talk to myself. I used to have so much negative chatter going on in my head, and over the last decade I have tried to turn that into something much more positive. @@claudiaglows I'm struggling getting the dye to stick to my lashes. I followed the instructions with the dye and added 10 drops. Didn't stick. Then I added 6 drops same thing happened. I'm using a mascara wand vs the brush which looks amazing when it's done, but it's not staying one. Help!
@@heatherbonas4018 the tint does not necessarily stick, but just lays on top of the lashes. This is why I apply mine thick and let it sink in as much as possible. But it does slight down a bit with time

Meethak, it is so nice to hear from you! I have missed you too! Hair loss in the front is often hormone related. Have you had your hormones checked? Some people say that castor oil really helps with the hair loss as well. As far as needling, you can do any microneedle your scalp. Just take a little sections and you move the hair over, so you can reach the scalp, and then work your whole head that way. You could probably put the ordinary multi peptide serum on afterwards. But I think just the kneeling itself can be very helpful, even without putting something on afterward. I hope this helps. Please keep me posted my sweet friend. @@claudiaglows I just finished. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be; mainly because of how thick the tint was. If it was thinner, I'd imagine that it would have been easier, but I struggled to get the product off the wand onto my lashes. I got some on my water line and it burned my eye a bit, but not as bad as I thought.

Hi Claudia, Hurray for this video!! My eyelashes are completely invisible. I've had them tinted professionally, but the end result didn't justify the cost or how often I would need to have it done. Never that the last place I want to be in my spare time is a salon! I'm so excited to try your method. My brows are very light also, but I've been using "Just for Men" beard dye, and that has been working well. I also saw your video on castor oil and will give that another try on my brows and lashes. I realize I didn't stick with it long enough to see if it would work for me or not. My lashes are long, but thin (like the hair on my head LOL!!!). Hi Wendy, thank you so much for your kind comment and compliment. You know, though I have always had pretty white teeth, I did a number of them over the years. I was a crazy grinder, and about 4 years ago, they were so thin at the top, that some started breaking. I had my front tooth break off, making me look quite funny :). First my dentist fixed just that tooth, but it quickly became apparent that it might happen with some of my other teeth as well, so eventually, I had veneers put on my front top and bottom teeth. I do now take really good care of my teeth, wear a mouthguard at night, use charcoal toothpaste, floss and a waterpik. I hope this helps xo

oh- the 90s thin brow! aagh. screwed for life. Love this product and only have used on eyebrows. Great job on doing it yourself! I was getting nervous to try since it's your eyes..but this looks doable. I see they are doing this creme activator and I've only ever used the liquid version you have. Have you heard of any difference between the 2 or when one is better fir say eyebrows over lashes? I also see this new "intensity" versions of primer and then intensity activator for afterwards and not sure if you've tried those and what the outcome looks like? They have 2 versions where one is "make-up" medium intensity and the other for more intensity...but I can't tell what really means. Any thoughts on those products?

I have been tinting my own lashes (and brows )for years as well .
I use a small applicator for the bottom and a clean silicone mascara wand for the top.

I’ve been doing this for the last 2 years too. Such a cheap & effective way to create a lasting good look and save $$. The tint tube literally costs less than one tint at the salon. And the tube lasts years

Yes, it is so lovely to not have to wear makeup. I had a few subscribers tell me they use black henna to tint their lashes, so that is definitely something to look into as well.
And the castor oil can be so great, even for hair growth. There is not really any science to back it up, but a lot of anecdotal evidence.

Black henna is the most long lasting thing what I've used. Yes,they put inside something chemical too for the best results. But it's not peroxide or ammonium. On my eyes I've never had inflammation. Now I use Aasha herbals black henna. But where are a lot others. Lashes become more thick.

Thank you for all of the info! My research is to watch your videos. 😀 Love the castor oil tip. I don’t have an old lash serum container. Would you recommend buying a lash serum, using it up, and then filling with castor oil? If so, which serum would you recommend?
Hi Willow, it is always so lovely to hear from you. Thank you for your kind words. You could just get a small bottle of castor oil ( a small bottle will last a long time) and apply it with either your fingers or a q-tip. Or even a clean mascara wand. I would not waste my money on a lash serum first, unless you want to try one.

I am sorry to hear about your lashes! I would definitely give castor oil a try, and if that does not work, you could always try something like Revitalash. I ha e not personally tried that, but my friend Tamara, from Tamara’s Timeless Beauty just made a video on lashes and she loves the Revitalash
I am still using the castor oil I showed in the castor oil video and it seems to work well. But I think any organic castor oil can help

Just curious if you’ve ever had them tinted a dark auburn / henna color (slight coppery or purple red tone) and how it turned out? 🧐 also great to hear your experience with castor oil since it seems like there’s conflicting information out there. I’ve found that the pure squalane I’ve used daily on the skin around my eyes for several years now has really improved both my lashes and eyebrows. They stay hydrated, healthy and less brittle - and never too greasy or heavy. What a pleasant surprise! 🤓

You know, I do not like to use lash treatments with prostaglandins in them, so I have only tried a few natural once, but I find what works the best is just plain old castor oil. I apply it to my lashes every night and it keeps them nice and healthy

I completely understand where you at, it can be so confusing, and there’s so much contradicting advice floating around. I am here to help you with whatever I can help with. Are you looking for advice on supplements? Or more on what to eat and how to work out?
As far as my lifestyle, I have been plant-based for four years, and I’m absolutely loving it. I do quite a few what I eat in a day videos, so if you’re curious about what I eat, those might be interesting. I work out daily, about a half an hour, doing various kinds of workouts. I actually also have a video on a sort of typical week of my workouts. I think the most important thing we can do, as we approach the second half of our life, is to find joy in whatever it is we’re doing. Whether that is our workouts, the way we eat or how we spend our free time. Personally, I really had to learn to watch my thoughts, and watch how I talk to myself. I used to have so much negative chatter going on in my head, and over the last decade I have tried to turn that into something much more positive. What kind of developer are you using?
Emily, the one I use is still left over from when my friend used to tint my lashes. I will try if I can find it and link it in the description box. But if I can’t find it, reflectocil has one as well
What is the activating liquid you use - where do you buy that? Thx! I've been tinting my lashes and brows for years, but paying for it - I'm going to try doing it on my own thx to your video - thx!

@@claudiaglows I'm struggling getting the dye to stick to my lashes. I followed the instructions with the dye and added 10 drops. Didn't stick. Then I added 6 drops same thing happened. I'm using a mascara wand vs the brush which looks amazing when it's done, but it's not staying one. Help!
@@heatherbonas4018 the tint does not necessarily stick, but just lays on top of the lashes. This is why I apply mine thick and let it sink in as much as possible. But it does slight down a bit with time

Meethak, it is so nice to hear from you! I have missed you too! Hair loss in the front is often hormone related. Have you had your hormones checked?
Some people say that castor oil really helps with the hair loss as well. As far as needling, you can do any microneedle your scalp. Just take a little sections and you move the hair over, so you can reach the scalp, and then work your whole head that way. You could probably put the ordinary multi peptide serum on afterwards.

Hi, thank you for being here. I actually made a video on how I keep my teeth white a while ago. I do have veneers on some of them, that helps :). But I also use some baking soda with hydrogen peroxide every once in a while and that helps as well

@@claudiaglows I just finished. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be; mainly because of how thick the tint was. If it was thinner, I'd imagine that it would have been easier, but I struggled to get the product off the wand onto my lashes. I got some on my water line and it burned my eye a bit, but not as bad as I thought.

Hi Claudia, Hurray for this video!! My eyelashes are completely invisible. I've had them tinted professionally, but the end result didn't justify the cost or how often I would need to have it done. Never that the last place I want to be in my spare time is a salon! I'm so excited to try your method. My brows are very light also, but I've been using "Just for Men" beard dye, and that has been working well. I also saw your video on castor oil and will give that another try on my brows and lashes. I realize I didn't stick with it long enough to see if it would work for me or not. My lashes are long, but thin (like the hair on my head LOL!!!). Hope wherever you are in your move, all is going well. 😊

Hi Wendy, thank you so much for your kind comment and compliment. You know, though I have always had pretty white teeth, I did a number of them over the years. I was a crazy grinder, and about 4 years ago, they were so thin at the top, that some started breaking. I had my front tooth break off, making me look quite funny :). First my dentist fixed just that tooth, but it quickly became apparent that it might happen with some of my other teeth as well, so eventually, I had veneers put on my front top and bottom teeth. I do now take really good care of my teeth, wear a mouthguard at night, use charcoal toothpaste, floss and a waterpik. I hope this helps

Love this product and only have used on eyebrows. Great job on doing it yourself! I was getting nervous to try since it's your eyes..but this looks doable.
I see they are doing this creme activator and I've only ever used the liquid version you have. Have you heard of any difference between the 2 or when one is better fir say eyebrows over lashes? I also see this new "intensity" versions of primer and then intensity activator for afterwards and not sure if you've tried those and what the outcome looks like? They have 2 versions where one is "make-up" medium intensity and the other for more intensity...but I can't tell what really means. Any thoughts on those products?
