I have another way to curl your lashes. I learned this years ago and it is still my favorite tip. You apply mascara and while it is still wet on your lashes, turn on your hair dryer and hold the dryer vertically so it is blowing straight up. Hold the dryer at about chin level, so that the dryer air blows your lashes upwards. It will curl your lashes and fan them out beautifully. The affect lasts all day because it dries the mascara into that position. Do one eye at a time so that the mascara is wet when you use the hair dryer on each one. Put the dryer on medium or high setting and warm (not hot or cold) for best results.
I love how beginnerproof your videos are! This gives me confidence to try, it looks só easy that i think even i can do that. No 150 brushes with barely any difference, no advanced/intimidating techniques... just swipe it up with the spongebrush, and blend it a little with a hairy brush, no buying big brushsets...
I really wanted to curl my lashes everytime i did makeup. But i don’t have any curler. And after this video now i can curl my lashes too! Yay!!! Thanks Smitha di ❤️
Fantastic! Curlers tend to hurt because I use too close to the eyelid. FYI for a tighter curl, hold the curler under running warm water. Press curler on lashes for 10 seconds. POW! Apply mascara as usual and be ready for compliments.
You have the most creative ideas and work-arounds when it comes to makeup applications, etc. Not to mention, I just love the soothing sound of your voice.
OH MY LORD!!! Are these tips not AWESOME!!!! This iscespecially amazing because the curler causes lashes to fall . I am 50 and as it is my lashes are sparse and i cannot afford to lose ONE lash😉🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 so these tips are simply awesome Smitha you are AMAZING❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Smitha as always amazing tips 🥰. I think the last one was my fav for two reasons, curl the lashes with mascara eliminating a step to curl them, and the brush end helps keep my mascara from getting on my lids.
If you want to try an eyelash curler it’s kind of like a horse it can sense your fear but don’t worry once you get the hang of it it’s like a simple everyday thing. Every once in a while you might pull out one lash but not often (at least for me). So if you want to try just go for it and normally expensive ones are way better so buy one at a makeup store but don’t go online
I appreciate your videos very much! Eyelash curlers are difficult for me due to my disability. I'm definitely going to try a couple of these! Thank you so much! And by the way I just wanted to tell you that I think you are stunning! 💕
I hate eyelash curlers. I've tried a lot, and no matter what I do, they often tend to pinch my skin, or to break my lashes. The spoolie tip is my favorite, but I think the brush handle behind the lashes could be great as well, acting like a lash guard. Thank you for the tips 🙏
Using the back of a makeup brush as a mascara guide is brilliant! I always have trouble with my left eye, I can never get my hand to cooperate correctly in the mirror when I switch to that eye. Cant wait to try this! 😊
Loved this techniques ❤️❤️❤️ I never thought that eyelashes can be curled without curler but after watching this I will definitely gonna try this techniques 😍😍😍😍😍😍 I loved that spoolie one........ ❤️
The first step of using finger to curl lashes is much better than other steps..i mean you don't need anything to curl just only one finger nd it's working do It for sure guys 😊so satisfying..💕
Hi Smitha, this tutoriel is unbelieveable I use a curler but some friends are scared of the curler. I will show them the video. No smile Marlene, Geneva, Switzerland

OMG. I've never had a problem with using an eyelash curler but I figured "knowledge is power" and watched this Suggested video anyways. You've changed my life 💕
Hi Smitha! I will be putting these techniques to work as I have very small eyes, and have yet to find an eyelash curler that fits them. I have tried them ALL.I also love the idea of using castor oil instead of mascara, but when I used this oil, my lashes grew in "wonky" directions. Would you say that the lashes stay up after using your finger to curl them? Thank you for another wonderful video!🥰❤️
Omg I will try them all. My lashes are short and the curling wand at times takes out a few lashes and that freaks me out. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us much 🙏
Fab I tend to use my fingers to push my lashes upwards then pf course apply mascara much more easier for me, I tend to Nip my eyelid with a eye lash curler, ouch 🙃 😳 Gill 🇬🇧 xoxo 😘

Hi everyone, can I ask if this is done with your eyes opened or closed?
Thank you so much. With open or close eyes?
@@sethuposwa9860 idk, I did it with open eyes but they got really watery, so maybe try closed
@@delpi6597Thank you so much for the advice😁
Well I needed this as I am scared of eyelash curlers. I feel my eyes would just pop out.😭😂😂😂 Love you Smitha❤ Great work.😊😍

They don't pop out, but it is very easy to accidentally pinch your eyelid with the edge of the curler. 😬
Love these ideas. I once accidentally pulled out about half of my eyelashes with an eyelash curler.. I never felt so naked in my life!
Did it grow back?
@@priyabharati5865 Yes, lol.
PLS THAT LITERALLY HAPPENED TO ME ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGOOO
how long did it take to grow

Smitha, you are full of info that we never knew, tips, tricks and I'm 65. I love you gal. Keep it up
The last tip of using a makeup brush on top of the lash while applying mascara is very helpful, thx!

This channel has a professional vibe♥️♥️♥️I learned so much from you♥️♥️
My tias always had a spoon in their makeup bags. Other than the mascara, I think the q-tip and spoon looked best.
i feel so sad when i notice some lashes may fall out with lash curler. omg i never knew these tips, thanks sm

@@ericisbananam4n137 not that long but it works for longer if u put water on it and keep it there till it dries
