- Wrapping up the new Indy Specialty Starfire 862cc stroker engine swap! This one follows along with getting it all buttoned back up and seeing if she fires up! Previews to the upcoming first ride on it at the end!

Waiting to see how she ripped in Mont-Valin! Very familiar with the sneak peak gas station...hehe.

Now I want to see what this is like compared to the new (newly assembled anyway) 9R XCR.

I hit Pittsburg for a little on Friday before the storm, they're gonna be in great shape up there!
What did you do engine calibration wise? Does indy specialty have a tune for the 862?
We're still working on final calibrations for the package, good snow and testing time has been difficult the last couple weeks.
Could you ask gordon if he uses the 3211165 belt which is the belt the 650 comes with or the 3211215 which is the belt the 850 comes with. Know the angles are different but will either one work.
The Gordon spec for the 650/862/VR1 has been the 3211215 belt since day one in my possession, I stock those and they just simply work well for me. I've tried other brands in the past but come back to the OEM one most of the time.

I hit Pittsburg on Friday for a quick rip from the usual pull off (Inlet i think?) route 3. It was a beautiful day but wanted to get back home before the storm came to town!
