Thank you so much for this video without it I’m doubtful if I would have gotten my sled done before my trip. Didn’t need any extra tools apart from the helix compressor. I ended up welding a normal t40 bit to a broken spammer to get the bolts out the back and then I found some 10.9 hex m8 which happened to be the exact correct length at home
What brand T40 insert bit did you use? I’m doing the same thing, I have a 1/4” ratchet wrench with a T40 bit in it. It doesn’t feel Like it will be enough.

Good video, I just did these and removed the jackshaft, I replaced with hex bolts also and will do it your way next time.
Not that bad great explanation 👍🏻
One question? Couldn't you just use the collar and belt removal tool to take the tension off the helix to remove the bolts?
@@Mcswack you might get away with that for disassembly but I don’t think it would work for reassembly

The bit came from grip n rip racing. I was unable to find it anywhere else
@@SledsandGear I ended up finding it, I believe it’s Gearwrench. Thanks
You could have removed the felt panel for mor room and visibility
Yeah that might have helped a bit.
