I grown up, only see that Naoki is still selfish and Kotoko is still a fool, girls and boys need to have confidence themselves, I never found out why this Dorama was continued, the first season is just a joke and a kind of humiliating an innocent girl.
After watching this series for so many times, I just realize that Naoki really listen to Kotoko whenever she's talking seriously about his future or life decisions. He chose to be a doctor because of Kotoko but still undecided about what kind of doctor he wants to pursue but then when Kotoko talk about him saving children's life in the future he already had an idea to become a Pediatrician. Many of you might hate Naoki because of how he act towards his wife but if you really understand the whole context of the series you will realize that Naoki really tries to open up and show his true self to his beloved wife ❤️ Honestly, this sequel series, shows how Naoki's character improve because of Kotoko.
Honestly i dont think people understand that the character is supposed to sort of like a tsundere. Like her loves her but can have trouble telling it, so he shows it
I agree with you, with her he starts to Care about the feelings of other people not only his feelings. He has a great development during all the serie. And he cant be so expressive as kotoko but at his way he shows how much he cares about her. The way he stares at her, the way he always take Care of her. 💕 I truly love the development of this couple. They show how they love each other at each own way. .

He acts like she is an annoyance to him, but in all actuality, he finds her to be very amusing and fun to be with. Before they got married he told her a few times that without her, his life was ordinary, predictable, and boring. However, when she appeared in his life, every day became fun and exciting. That's probably why he went to the same university as her, so he could not only continue to keep an eye on her, but also so his life could stay fun.
One thing i observed about naoki was he loves watching kotoko while she's sleeping. That's for me showing pure and unconditional love. He is not showy because i think he doesn't want to look inferior and doesn't know how to handle emotional feelings and it's normal to those people with higher IQ. If you noticed they were a perfect and balanced couple. He spoiled her in a very unique way that we normal people can't think of. He is absolutely supportive in his own ways. He let her to be with herself and he doesn't want to change it a bit. He was annoyed at her sometimes but he tolerates her with her innocence and dumbness. And one more important thing that i have noticed about naoki was HE IS A VERY PROUD HUSBAND. He doesn't care of what the other people say towards her, he kept on loving her at his utmost best.

I don't know if this is the Right place to comment this. but I always think that they have many intimate moments than meets the eye. like when they thought Kotoko was pregnant, that was actually 9 months after their honeymoon, meaning they had more intimate moments, then that part where Naoki said "I kind of want babies now" (in the mangga, they made the deed) in Kobe too, also when Naoki came back from Kobe permanently, so does that part when Naoki was super jealous with Keita, in this episode when they went on a date, also when Kotoko fainted in the bathroom with Rika, I think it was Naoki who changed her clothes. also when Naoki was in the hospital bed, he literally kissed her and then hugged her Ang uttered in her ear something like "so this is what it felt like to be a patient, I kind of like it" in the manga that phrase was the same but something like " I kind of feeling sexy" making Kotoko blush in the manga too, I always notice that it was Naoki who initiated those thing, my favorite part was the joined hot spring, broke they both are naked out in the open in the middle of the night in a hot spring but Naoki comes after Kotoko just to Kiss her. forgetting that there were people not far from them. notice how 6 year of their marriage, Kotoko never got pregnant, but when they went on a hotel for her birthday, she then got pregnant? (I low-key have a feeling that they have a stash of protection in their bedroom 😅) WTF am I talking about 😭
Of all the adaptations of the manga, this is the only series that makes me realize how much the character development in the guy. Other adaptation makes me feel that it is the girl who's always lucky to have the guy but it's actually the other way around.
@@mickeymouse1590 for me the korean is the worse I do like kdrama but for this one i do prefer all tge version more than korean And this version is my favorite I feel like in the korean version they focused on the mean guy stupid girl theme but when you look to this version you notice that the guy is not mean but rather confused about his feelings and the girl is not stupid but innocent Their were a lot of scenes that showed how much he like her like christmas night etc So i think in this version he was actually trying to figure out his feeling but in the korean version he was just mean and she was really stupid rather than innocent This is just my opinion 😊

Naoki really loves her. The first time I watched this, it actually totally made sense in the season one and then made further sense in season 2. they have their own ways of expressing love to each other... and I honestly think they are so lucky with each other. Naoki is lucky he have Kotoko and Kotoko is lucky she have Naoki. I really hope I will be able to watch other jdramas because the first time I watched a jdrama, it is a masterpiece.
It’s funny to see that people start to understand naoki’s feelings when growing up. I saw it directly and actually i think it’s was easy to tell how much he loved her since s1.
I watched the anime first. Dude is really an a*s lol but he kinda redeemed himself in the end. In this live adaptation, the actor is so cute lol so I kinda overlooked all the red flags hahaha. But he is milder and expressive here compared in the anime version. They made the episodes 1 hour long so there’s a room for character development. The Naoki here is more tolerable compared to the anime.
Naoki really loves kotoko but he doesn’t show it often because he doesn’t like to show much affection and doesn’t know how to express them well but when he does it’s always very sweet and heart warming.While kotoko knows how to express her love to Naoki throughout. I think they both match so well with each other cause kotoko brings out the feelings that Naoki couldn’t feel which is love and jealousy.

When naoki said. People's emotion changed now it's up to them now. He is behaving like that because he's still immature. If you push him he'll take the other way. Then Kotoko remembered the times when he said he don't like stupid girls and the time when he confessed that he already love her, she smiled and hugged naoki then naoki just looked at her while still scanning on the book he's reading is so sweet. And when the time he already told kotoko that he knows her plan all along and said he never agreed to have a date the way she planned it too but she stayed up all night making it. Though he doesn't fully like the idea the least he could do is make part of it come true then kiss her. The date they had on odaiba where kotoko thinks naoki didn't think or count that as a date for naoki it already counts. He already know at the time that the guy she was with that day was in love with Matsumoto so he did that actions towards her for him to fight for his feelings to Matsumoto. But then everything just went chaotic so he had to give up the act and date the girl he wanted to all along. He is sweet and caring through actions not words. He is not too expressive with feelings but he supplements it with actions.
And also Kin-Chan the love he had for Kotoko was so highly appreciated and respected even though Kotoko always pursuing Naoki he never try to break them apart. Helping them out with their feelings, but honestly I am so happy that Chris is in love with Kin-chan because he was always the one whose giving love for Kotoko. Now he have Chris to love him so much the way he gave love, and it was just so fascinating for him to get that love. For 6 years he has been loving Kotoko and now he has the one that loves him more than he loves her. He got what he deserved to have. So I'm really happy with seeing him getting his own love that only him can have that.

Watching this series for third time. And now i notice those minor character developments in Naoki’s character. The way he has changed in season 2 is really astonishing. He deserves Kotoko - not because Kotoko loved him but also - Naoki changed for better. His romantic side is something to watch for 😂🔥. Also noticing those goody - bit moments where Naoki would smile for kotoko’s comment or her appraisal from someone else. I absolutely love this drama so much!

I forgot what year I first watch this. Watching it again now, I've seen things in different perspective-mostly from Naoki's side. I can now vividly see how he cared for Kotoko. He has his eyes on Kotoko, has always been.

He always lost his patience for her wife most of the time yet if you look deep into his actions you'll know how much he loves her the way she is.. i understand him, being an introvert will never make it obvious but for sure he will make things work by putting everything in action.. its better than said promises tho..

The first time I watched this, it actually totally made sense in the season one and then made further sense in season 2. they have their own ways of expressing love to each other... and I honestly think they are so lucky with each other. Naoki is lucky he have Kotoko and Kotoko is lucky she have Naoki.

I watched the anime first. Dude is really an a*s lol but he kinda redeemed himself in the end. In this live adaptation, the actor is so cute lol so I kinda overlooked all the red flags hahaha. But he is milder and expressive here compared in the anime version. They made the episodes 1 hour long so there’s a room for character development. The Naoki here is more tolerable compared to the anime.

Then Kotoko remembered the times when he said he don't like stupid girls and the time when he confessed that he already love her, she smiled and hugged naoki then naoki just looked at her while still scanning on the book he's reading is so sweet. And when the time he already told kotoko that he knows her plan all along and said he never agreed to have a date the way she planned it too but she stayed up all night making it. Though he doesn't fully like the idea the least he could do is make part of it come true then kiss her. The date they had on odaiba where kotoko thinks naoki didn't think or count that as a date for naoki it already counts. He already know at the time that the guy she was with that day was in love with Matsumoto so he did that actions towards her for him to fight for his feelings to Matsumoto. But then everything just went chaotic so he had to give up the act and date the girl he wanted to all along. He is sweet and caring through actions not words. He is not too expressive with feelings but he supplements it with actions.
And also Kin-Chan the love he had for Kotoko was so highly appreciated and respected even though Kotoko always pursuing Naoki he never try to break them apart. Helping them out with their feelings, but honestly I am so happy that Chris is in love with Kin-chan because he was always the one whose giving love for Kotoko. Now he have Chris to love him so much the way he gave love, and it was just so fascinating for him to get that love.
For 6 years he has been loving Kotoko and now he has the one that loves him more than he loves her.
He got what he deserved to have. So I'm really happy with seeing him getting his own love that only him can have that.

Watching this series for third time. And now i notice those minor character developments in Naoki’s character. The way he has changed in season 2 is really astonishing. He deserves Kotoko - not because Kotoko loved him but also - Naoki changed for better. His romantic side is something to watch for 😂🔥. Also noticing those goody - bit moments where Naoki would smile for kotoko’s comment or her appraisal from someone else. I absolutely love this drama so much!

I think i died a little at 47:57 bcuzzzzzz IT'S ILLEGAL TO LOOK THIS FINE his gaze and his voice oh my god, I'd mess all that up if I were the actress I'd probably get so nervous and flustered and fall into the lake😭
I was so young when I first watched this. Been rewatching this annually too and yet their sweet moments never failed to make me chuckle like a little girl every time.
Watching this show made me realize being a genius is rather difficult since everything seems to bore them. Afraid to discover something new and in the end they get bored too. Thanks to kotoko and her pure sincerity and funny reaction I think it actually color this guy's life a little bit more 😁
