You took me 22 years back . When I was in college we group of 9 friends went to ooty trip from Chennai. At that ticket was 20rs from mettupalayam to ooty. Entire trip for person was budgeted at 2000 rs for 4 days. Great memories of ooty. Love this place. If RUclips comments section had an option to post pictures I would have posted here.

What I would advise all youngsters in 20”s just spend your time wisely and try to make great memories by which you can cherish and look back your photo albums with smile. Yes money will be a challenge during college days but if you spend wisely you can plan short trips.

I'm so happy to see the steam locomotive train from Mettupalayam to Ooty after a very long time. The Coonoor station and its locality are so mesmerizing to see on the way to Ooty.
What I liked the most about the journey is the passengers who enjoyed the breaking stations getting down and seeing the environment with ease and fun.

my favorite train trip - reminds me of my first trip with after marriage in 1997...very nostalgic . This was an engineering marvel completed in 1908 and India's only rack rail . The train journey can be made more joyful with special facilities for tourists at all stations and especially provide audio messages for kids with history and some music inside the coaches . Also some souvenir's at the station will be a great idea .
One of the dramatic train that shows magical routes and stations and we went this month last week but not able to do a journey on train but enjoyed its departure and arrival on different stations... 👌super video brother
