I feel the last decade players, at least till 2014, were more intelligent, professional, were more aware and had game knowledge compared to today's players. Even today's top player is nowhere close to them.

@@zorashki lol La Liga was the most competitive top league back then with Real, Barca, Valencia and Deportivo La Coruna as regular contenders. In contrast, EPL for years was a two horse race between Man U and Arsenal. Serie A had challengers time to time in the likes of Roma or Milan to Juve. But none of them were as competitive as in Spain. It's only from 05 that Spain returned to being just Real vs Barca

They did win the Spanish league in 2003 though. Raul and Roberto Carlos also won the Champions League in 98 and 2000 as well, while Beckham won it in 99 with Man U so put some respect on their names.

Zidane should be appointed as a principal guide to train youngsters of India to push India in a respectable position....he is unique, classy and undoubtedly a great mentor for budding footballers 🙏🙏
