Look at the non-stop passing and team play by these Man United legends. We finally realized that the revival of Man United will be very hard. Because there will not be so many genius footballers playing at the same era again 😢😢
The other day Beckham was asked how this team would get on against the current Man Utd team. He said "I think we would just about win, mind you we are all in our 40's and 50's now".
Class is forever. Age may have slowed them down but the technique, intention, and movement off the ball is still world class. Not just Beck's vision and long passes. Butt and Pob's touch and control, Stam, Scholesy and Irwin's aggression, Yorke and Solskjaer's movement off the ball, positioning and finishing. We were spoilt when they were in their prime.

Really enjoyed watching this, I’m a lifelong Liverpool fan and as much as there’s no love loss whatsoever in undeniably the biggest rivalry in English football it was great to see this iconic team playing again. Still have unbelievable talent. I’m kinda glad to see United back up there as I have missed that competitiveness between us both. Becks is still a different class.
David Beckham hits the ball as he had hands instead of feets. I'm from Madrid and I had the privilege of seeing him play for my team for 4 years. That Manchester United was insane: Beckham, Schmeichel, the Nevilles, Staam, Blomqvist, Giggs, Cole, Yorke, Sheringham, Solskjaer... And one of the best midfielders ever, the great Paul Scholes
Serious nostalgia watching this. Some things never change. Beckhams crossing is still world class, Scholes is still a feisty little bugger, Jaap Stams still as hard as nails and Gary Neville still couldn’t hit a barn door. Joking aside, watching Neville and Beckham working the right wing was magical, I don’t know what it is but even if you didn’t know it was them, you would. It’s a style you don’t seem to see nowadays, the two of them blasting up the touch line.

There is no denying that the Man Utd 1999 team was sublime. Here they are many if not all in their late 40s or early 50s passing with real precision. No wonder this team couldn't be beaten and won the treble.
With respect to everyone, I've never supported a football team, I just used to watch Match Of The Day on a Saturday evening and European games during the week. I always liked to see Manchester United and Liverpool do well. Although, because of their success, many people didn't like either. I've enjoyed watching this film, and it makes me feel how blessed we were at the time to see Sir Alex as Man United's manager and the team he forged. Things like this may not happen in every lifetime. Even now, though the players are older, they play so well and great to watch. It's good to see how they've looked after themselves and can still put on a show. They were a magnificent, dedicated, hard-working, loyal team. This was great to watch and reminds me of great times. Thank you.

Cresci vendo estas feras jogarem nos anos 90 e início dos anos 2000, Beckham sempre jogou com muita classe, uma elegância única de bater na bola, só lendas!
Those legends were beasts in their prime, but they can still play amazing football. What a wonderful event. Still better football than most of the lower professional leagues these days. Just amazing gameplay.
Amazing to see the same patterns and moves all these years later. And they still work to break down defences. These players knew each others games and worked for each other.
You can clearly see how much they miss playing at the highest level. BM simply didn’t turn up. I know this was only for fun but becks has always kept himself super fit & I’ll never get bored of his ‘quarterback’ passing diagonally across the pitch.
Even 20 years later, the passing and crossing this 99 team does, just breathes class and confidence. I hope United get back to winning ways in the future
There's something special about these Legends matches...it's great to see the old stars play again but these games are so pure. No one out to hurt anyone, everyone is having fun, people help out when an opposition player falls down, and smiles all around. It's just love of the game and old glory which is so enteraining to watch.
So it sounds corny, but I was an American teenager playing soccer at 14-15, having no idea what the sport was like outside of the confines of the MLS, (a fledgling league at the time, instead of the retirement home it is now). Well, my friend had cable and one night we were up late and got to watch a Manchester United match (I think it was against Arsenal). And I saw Beckham play, and that was the day I learned the difference between American Soccer and English Football. And I've been a Manchester United fan ever since.
Really Legends...no more words can describe how they were being a true senior player with skills and mature ones...so Fabolous ❤ fantastic team 🎉 I proud of u all ⚽ Respect
i was -1 in 99 lol, however i was into football from a very young age and im so thankful that as a united supporter, i got to see ronaldo blossom, rooney being god tier, vidic being the most brutal defender and everyone else from that era, football isnt the same anymore
The respect for each other from these legends is fantastic to see....no fake injuries of rolling around on the pitch then 2 seconds later there nothing wrong like the young runts of today....this is how the game should always he played....no divaness at all...fantastic and seeing Beckham still has his long pass sniper pinpoint accuracy is class....this the man utd team I grew up with.
They might not have the legs anymore but the understanding between these players is still there after all these years. And Becks and Scholes's passing - just as good as ever. And Scholes's tackling😄
Great fun to watch this game. Total dominance by United. But I must say two tackles by Stam and Scholes were ridiculous keeping in mind this was a friendly game.
That is what make them to who they are today....lose is not an option even if it just a friendly match, the desire to win still thick deep down inside they body and hearts.
Scholes’ determination and manliness in tackles makes Bruno Fernandes look like an utter sissy tbh. I believe any opposition would take to Scholes’ tackle proper (maybe with some fireworks) than wanting to face a rolling and whining Bruno. And old Scholes is worth twice as much as a current Bruno.
My gosh. This was more entertaining than watching current players in the UCL. Beautifully played match by legends. Scholes, Dwight, and of course, Beckham stole the show.
These are legend and legend is LEGEND. The passes, cross, long ball everything was bang on. This is the real Manchester Utd. Today Manchester utd is wrecked. There is nothing left in it. It's such a pitty watching them. played with no hearts and no spirit.

Thank you.
Beckham the best pass, free kick and corner player ever!
i think juninho was a better free kick taker, but beckham was close
zidane
What a great game for the both teams indeed i really enjoyed every single bit of the game....the atmosphere at stadium were massive, see scholesy Beckham, butt, podosky, ole,York, saha, Jensen, Garry, Peter etc smiling shows the beauty of the game,..... kudos my sweet legends we really missed you all...old Trafford we forever missing u in every competitive games.stay safe you all
Os cara brincaram de jogar bola , muita lenda em campo, obrigado Deus por ver esses monstros jogando no auge . Beckham é uma lenda . 🇧🇷❤️

Beckham is still ridiculously good. This whole match was more entertaining than 90% of Premiership games.
As a 34 year old this brings back so many memories and is beautiful to watch...
This united team still looks way ahead of the current team. The only thing thats missing is the physical fitness. What a brilliant passionate lots these were.Miss watching them.
This is the Man United we are used too....wonderful flow of football.....truly legends🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏......
Бэкхем- лучший!!! Какие точные передачи, невероятно! Человек легенда !!! Столько сделал для футбол в целом мире! Неподражаемый и притягательный❤
Beautiful game, beautiful people and iam sure proud of my country man Dwight York scoring a lovely goal. Proud Trinidadian all the way from the Caribbean and a red devil for life 💯 and God bless Manchester united
Cresci vendo estas feras jogarem nos anos 90 e início dos anos 2000, Beckham sempre jogou com muita classe, uma elegância única de bater na bola, só lendas!
Class never fades! Their speed might had reduced but their techniques just matures and spot on
Those legends were beasts in their prime, but they can still play amazing football.
I don't.
@@bobstermaher Thats because Bob supports Spuds
Would have loved to see Keane involved as well, he played such a massive role in that treble winning team.
There are some things money can’t buy, watching the United legends in their prime again is one of those things 😢
There's something special about these Legends matches...it's great to see the old stars play again but these games are so pure. No one out to hurt anyone, everyone is having fun, people help out when an opposition player falls down, and smiles all around. It's just love of the game and old glory which is so enteraining to watch.
Except olic he got flattened lol
I dunno, Scholes' two-footed tackle in the first half was more than just a love tap. :D
And then you have Neville
Scholes nearly sent Demichelis back to Manchester Airport in a wheelchair
@@hux2000 Never could tackle but how we could do with him in hes prime now.
Бэкс все еще шикарен!)так приятно наблюдать за ним,какие он выдает диагонали,просто космос
Согласен.А я с замиранием сердца смотрел когда он пробивал штрафные,так хотелось чтоб как в старые добрые времена 💪
Are you from usa ! Which state !
Yup. I live in Virginia, near Charlottesville.
Really Legends...no more words can describe how they were being a true senior player with skills and mature ones...so Fabolous ❤ fantastic team 🎉 I proud of u all ⚽ Respect
These players haven’t played together for 15 years but better camaraderie & passion than current squad.
💥💯👍⚽💪🔥💥
@J M And what's up the tattoo's
It's all about the looks these days
@@kisakyesamantha6258 Yeah they all look the same
Amazing hey? ❤
Yeah because they were a family.....family commitment
I’m an arsenal fan but this team are absolute class even still to this day, it’s good to see them playing together for the nostalgia
David Beckham además de q sigue jugando como un crack con 48 años sigue igual de lindo🥺 💗💗
This made me smile and I am an Arsenal fan. These guys were our main Rivals in a golden era. I was in my late teens / early twenties, great times!
i was -1 in 99 lol, however i was into football from a very young age and im so thankful that as a united supporter, i got to see ronaldo blossom, rooney being god tier, vidic being the most brutal defender and everyone else from that era, football isnt the same anymore
Lindo de ver essas lendas em campo, saudade do bom futebol 😢
The respect for each other from these legends is fantastic to see....no fake injuries of rolling around on the pitch then 2 seconds later there nothing wrong like the young runts of today....this is how the game should always he played....no divaness at all...fantastic and seeing Beckham still has his long pass sniper pinpoint accuracy is class....this the man utd team I grew up with.
David Beckham his passes are still perfect, he was definitely Manchester's greatest player in this formation of Mr Alex Ferguson
Where's Keano
Sir Alex Ferguson*

Scholes was a lot better.
We called him sir Alex Ferguson not Mr
Not a Utd fan at all, but bloody enjoyed watching the 'Class of 99' back on a pitch. What a team they were...and still are!

Shame on you --'not at all?'
@deliafredericks7578 hard to believe that not everyone in the universe supports Man Utd and that there are actually supporters of other team eh?
Seeing beckham perform like that really shows how much football was iconic back in the day
They might not have the legs anymore but the understanding between these players is still there after all these years.
@@vennsim71 Worth twice as much as the whole team in my book.
Watching this smiling from ear to ear. I remember the 1999 finals like it was yesterday. I was 10yrs old. Becks being my childhood hero ❤️
Yeah I remember those days...loved Beckham but I wanted to be a keeper so Schmeichel was my hero :)
Y les chuparon mucho las bola?

Yeah, I remember it too, but for exactly the opposite reason 😅

My gosh. This was more entertaining than watching current players in the UCL. Beautifully played match by legends. Scholes, Dwight, and of course, Beckham stole the show.
Becks - still class! Fantastic passing - still got it 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks for being a fan

Amazing to watch these guys..and Beckham still has it!
Scholes is once a generation Player❤ Still finding the passes easily
Love to See Legends, Passes, passion, chemistry... Absolutely insane 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Beckham still got it!! So wonderful to see his long passes. 💪💪
This made me teared up a bit, been a while since I seen the boys back on the field, such a fantastic moment
These are legend and legend is LEGEND. The passes, cross, long ball everything was bang on. This is the real Manchester Utd. Today Manchester utd is wrecked. There is nothing left in it. It's such a pitty watching them. played with no hearts and no spirit.
Beckhams long passes are a thing of beauty ❤
