    What do you think of the Canon R5 C?

      I have one and love it but prefer to shoot handheld .Do you think the weebill-S with rf 24 mm f/1.8 will be a good choice because I want only the smallest Gimbal. I very like your video

      Own it as of January. It is a great all around mini cine cam that can punch way above its weight.

      I think that they had to film all of that video footage in 25 minutes without a V-mount battery and a battery grib... including setting up the camera-
      I do like it for photos, but Video I use my two canon C70 video cameras.

      I love mine so far. Question for you, is there any cable splitter/adapter to connect to the Ronin S2 and get power at the same time from Smallrig battery, thank for any info.

    I have one it's a real good hybrid camera for photos & videos, I love working with this camera but if canon can implement C-LOG 2 it's more fun ;)

    I traded my XT3 system in for the R5C right about when it came out. I wanted more resolution in stills and more features in video and that’s what I got. I shoot with a 14-35 f4 and 70-200 F4 and it’s a great combo. Have a nifty adapter for a small v mount battery to shoot longer video and charge the camera during day. Imani,y got this system for documenting vacations and road trips and holidays with my family and kids as they grow. Don’t see a need for anything else this will last a long time.

    Tough year for you guys to get good winter shots her in NH. It's been a really mild winter and the snowfall has been quite minimal. Don't judge us based on this year's weather! lol. Hope you all had fun here on the east coast!

    No ibis in the R5C? Also is the battery life significantly lower in the R5C than the R5, due to the built in cooling fan?

    Which AngelBird CF express and AngelBird Memory card pairing do you recommend for the R5C to take advantage of all of its features?

    Can you make a video on how to get the footage off the r5c I’ve been trying for weeks I have the cf express type b card and I have a cf express type b card reader but my footage isn’t popping up

    • @VanDanMedia
      @VanDanMedia 5 месяцев назад

      Check the usb-c cable from your card reader to laptop, make sure it’s not just a power cable 👌🏽 you need the cable for data in this instance

    I somehow got the impression that the iso range only went up to 6400. Now that I see it goes up to 51,200 if I were going to buy a camera right now I might get that over the R5.
    As long as Canon didn't do a Canon thing and have the picture quality be noticeably worse at the same iso than the R5 to keep it from competing against their own camera.

    • @vitaminb4869
      @vitaminb4869 5 месяцев назад

      Lol. It's not worse. It's the same in photo, but better in video.

      @@vitaminb4869 Just heard something. Is it true that while shooting video, you can't change shutter speed or any other settings to adjust the exposure?
      And that you have to stop shooting video, go to the menu, and make changes there?

    • @vitaminb4869
      @vitaminb4869 5 месяцев назад

      @@gregorylagrange Not true at all. Can change exposure settings at any time while recording video. Don't even have to go to menus, these things can be done through wheels and buttons on the camera.

    How'd you like the battery power? :D

    • @vitaminb4869
      @vitaminb4869 5 месяцев назад +1

      It's awesome. I can shoot 8K24 RAW internally for about an hour. If I hook up a USB PD bank, then it's a good 6-7 hours, which is pretty much unlimited.

    • @TheJustinside
      @TheJustinside 5 месяцев назад

      @@vitaminb4869 interesting. i heard that the 8k RAW mode wouldn't even work with the internal battery because it didn't provide enough power.

    • @vitaminb4869
      @vitaminb4869 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@TheJustinside It will work except in 8K60 the lens won't AF or close the aperture (8K24 or 8K30 is fine). If you have a fully manual lens, then it's not a problem, but realistically you'd use a USB PD bank or V-mount battery for 8K60, or for video in general if you're going to be shooting for some time and don't want to worry about battery.
