Lowkey this would’ve been a great what if to wait on to use for daima. In daima they heavily imply that potara between mortals is permanent and they pretty much unretconned the buus bad air thing as that is what kibitoshin used to defuse.
I haven't seen episode 2 yet, so there could still be things I don't know, but Daima didn't really retcon that, since 2 things can still be true. Potara can still be temporary for mortals, and Buu's Bad Air can still defuse fusions. If they want to make Daima canon, then it's entirely possible that by the end of the series, before Super is supposed to take place, Kabito and Shin will refuse and because of something like "Buu fell aslepp, so we couldn't use him to defuse" to make it so they have to use Namek's Dragon Balls to defuse.

Then Suer came and retconned that so that the reason the defused was because of a time limit. Then Daima comes and retcons it so that both ways of defusing can be true, assuming Daima is canon, because if it's not then only the time limit for mortals is still true and Buu's gas does nothing which is why the Kais had to use the Dragon Balls in Super.
I think if a fused person will be absorbed by Buu the fusion will be cancelled because we know because in DBD it was explained Buu is immune to all this kind of things but this timeline doesn’t allow that…

One way I could see Vegito being permanent in Canon without contradicting the Z explanation(Boo's magic) and Super's(fusion only being perma to Kais) would be to simply say at some point Elder Kai carried the Ultimate ritual on himself before being sealed, which also would have made his potara earrings "ultimate" and thus much more broken than the ones being used by other kaioshins
I can imagine that because it's vegito who is goku and vegeta, he will mostly likely achieve something crazy like blue evolution kaioken times 20. He will probably unfuse during the moro arc where goku and vegeta will keep blue evolution and vegeta will have kaioken. Theres a chance we might also see ultra instinct/ego vegito if that happens.

What if fusing resulted in not the merging but creation of a new warrior. Like in the buu saga Goku and Vegeta fuse and now Vegito is around. Wouldn't this have new implications for kais or it could be specifically for mortals. Lowkey this would’ve been a great what if to wait on to use for daima. In daima they heavily imply that potara between mortals is permanent and they pretty much unretconned the buus bad air thing as that is what kibitoshin used to defuse.
Obviously goku and vegeta would’ve unfused inside buu but you could just say that they kept extra potara or something
Technically both can be true. Potara can be not permanent for mortals and they also could have unfused by going inside of buu. Both can be true
I haven't seen episode 2 yet, so there could still be things I don't know, but Daima didn't really retcon that, since 2 things can still be true.
Potara can still be temporary for mortals, and Buu's Bad Air can still defuse fusions. If they want to make Daima canon, then it's entirely possible that by the end of the series, before Super is supposed to take place, Kabito and Shin will refuse and because of something like "Buu fell aslepp, so we couldn't use him to defuse" to make it so they have to use Namek's Dragon Balls to defuse.
Ummmm permanent fusion is for kais only. Mortals have time limit. Daiam disnt retcon it

@@W0MPW0MPCRYLIKEKSI The mortals having a time limit was a retcon by Super. In Z, fusion is forever even if you're a mortal but Buu's gas undos fusions. Then Suer came and retconned that so that the reason the defused was because of a time limit. Then Daima comes and retcons it so that both ways of defusing can be true, assuming Daima is canon, because if it's not then only the time limit for mortals is still true and Buu's gas does nothing which is why the Kais had to use the Dragon Balls in Super.
I think if a fused person will be absorbed by Buu the fusion will be cancelled because we know because in DBD it was explained Buu is immune to all this kind of things but this timeline doesn’t allow that…
A good question to ask is, can Vegito even get UI or UE? Do they cancel each other out because of the two sides of him?

One way I could see Vegito being permanent in Canon without contradicting the Z explanation(Boo's magic) and Super's(fusion only being perma to Kais) would be to simply say at some point Elder Kai carried the Ultimate ritual on himself before being sealed, which also would have made his potara earrings "ultimate" and thus much more broken than the ones being used by other kaioshins

I can imagine that because it's vegito who is goku and vegeta, he will mostly likely achieve something crazy like blue evolution kaioken times 20. He will probably unfuse during the moro arc where goku and vegeta will keep blue evolution and vegeta will have kaioken. Theres a chance we might also see ultra instinct/ego vegito if that happens.

Vegito is stated to be the perfect fighter. Whis said that Goku lets his guard down too much and is too carefree while Vegeta always has his guard up and is the opposite. Vegito being the combination of both would get UI much easier than Goku

What if fusing resulted in not the merging but creation of a new warrior. Like in the buu saga Goku and Vegeta fuse and now Vegito is around. Wouldn't this have new implications for kais or it could be specifically for mortals. I just find the thought of beerus seeing that Vegito is Goku and Vegeta and doesn't know which one to take as a rival. I think this would just be an op mini scenario
I think it’d be better if there’s just NOTHING that can undo a Potara fusion for this What If?:
- No dragon balls (including the Super Dragon Balls)
- No time limit or energy expenditure
- No Forced Spirit Fission (it exists, but it’s not capable of splitting Potara fusions)
